Hi, I just got hard rejected for this template.

I know it’s not very fancy-dancy, but it’s its simplicity that’s makes its good. So, what can I do to get this baby approved? Stuck in the Basement took the time to make a custom sound for this, I don’w want to disappoint him :)

I guess it would pick up sales, but I’m no reviewer… Looks really nice but it is very simple… Try adding a couple of cameras – from different angels, add depth of field and see how it turns out :)

I like it I don’t think it needs anything extra….
I guess they rejected it since they think have “enough of those”...
If you ask me – beautiful things get approved every day that I can definitely say they have enough of…unless there is the EXACT same one out there I don’t see why not approve….

Take Farley’s advice and add a “cinematic version” or maybe a dolly-in version with the camera moving forward. Good luck ;)

@doru just a standard text was in the mail.

Thank you all for your comments. I guess I will make another verson with more camera angles, but I don’t like to add things just for the sake of adding things…

@ ghosteam: btw, the camera is slowly moving already (off topic question: why not ghostmize anymore?)

Yes it’s basic, but it’s minimalist so adding things to the actually project is not a good idea IMO. However something I have done and had success with in these situations is adding more projects, maybe a project that supports image placeholders if this doesn’t already.

It does already support images, the last example is only envato marketplace logos, which are essentially image files.

I meant forward as passing through the holders…kind of fly-through…
and I’ve changed the user since we’re a team now :) ! Also I wasn’t sure how “ghostmize” sounds verbally LOL I think Ghosteam rolls better. :)

It looks great now! Make it more useful to a wider audience by adding more versions and do something that hasn’t been done. That same effect on a full size image maybe, maybe a version that plays with design elements or background patterns that the user can easily turn on or off. Look at Theme Forest WordPress templates. They have endless features for quickly customizing templates and making them unique.

Hope that helps!
