Ok, I found a track of mine on youtube where it’s playing in full without the logo, which is ok because the person probably bought it and has the right to put it up. The problem is that he/she is sharing a downloadable link in his/her description of the video. Now I already sent a DMCA to the host site where it is shared and they removed but now he/she re-uploaded it again to a different host and just updated the link. I sent a dmca again but I am wondering if there’s a more efficient way to deal with this maybe through youtube itself to report it to youtube somehow? If anybody has experience with this it’ll be really helpful to have some suggestions. Thank You!

seriously, what’s wrong with these sort of people :(

I guess you could contact youtube and try and get the user removed?

Something tells me we need a program that automates the DMCA process. Am I wrong?

if song is not great enough, it’s good way to promote: leave comment like “hey, in video it’s my track, and more cool songs are here link ob your portfolio

@msfx: I did, after 4 days still nothing, I doubt they’re gonna act on it… @blinn: I’m now using the dmcasender.com, will see how it turns out. @JohnMcNeill: It’s one of my best selling tracks, and if I post that in the comments it could mean I allow the sharing and I really don’t want to encourage that… @doru @kaaz: plus that.

I’m not sure what to do, I’ll wait a couple of more days for youtube to respond and in the meantime fight it with sending dmca-s…
