Hi guys,
I’m making a gallery that supports youtube videos, and the size is xml driven, because it’s for a facebook template and the default you tube dimensions are too big. So I use setSize to resize the player. Problem is, the embed code and url of the video appear for a second until the player resizes (somewhere outside the player). Looks really annoying. I tried masking it, and it worked fine, until I realized that the video time and “seek to” time don’t appear any more because of the mask. So masking it is not a solution.
Did anyone have this problem? If yes, how did you fix it?
BTW this is made with as2.
Thanks,

Ok, the forum is full of making jokes with AS2 while javascript beating AS3 . Not sure if any other Flash Active community goes this much depth to tease older technologies without knowing they are already sinking.
Looks like this community is no longer backward compatible (shame), ie, no one cares to answer AS2 based questions. Fine, atleast stop abusing the AS2 authors, that is almost same as abusing AS2 buyers.

Hey Chris, you back?
Not sure I understand but can you not make the player visible only after it is resized?
