I think I’d had use that for weeks already…Anyway, not bad, just … expect something more advance/smart in terms of usability.
Side topic, any mbp users experience noise fan when watching HD video?
Flash uses more hardware resources than html5 video. You might reduce the heat (and therefore fan speed and noise) by always using the html5 video of youtube videos when possible. Just opt in here https://www.youtube.com/html5

You sure about that? I remember doing a CPU comparison test a while back and Flash video usage was dramatically less than HTML5.
Edit: On Windows….
Am I the only one who dislikes dislike bar?
Now we can’t hate on Justin Bieber’s videos properly…

I thought their developers were doing something with the code so the player skin was temporarily broken
I dont like it at all…
As far as UX goes though, it’s better. I mean, yeah, I don’t prefer that totally sketched out minimal cubed kind of thing, but I just played a playlist and also looked at my home page and they looked better. So apart from the overly done Win8/ResponsiveWeb/2013UX kind of look, the way it responds is kind of better imo.

I’m really annoyed by the sidebar on the left? Can’t get used to that thing. Especially when watching a video, both the left and right side are very ‘empty’.
Also, the featured video titles in are exceeding the width of the video you are currently watching. It seems like nothing is aligned properly anymore.
But I do like the overall flattened and simplified look.
Try and click the YouTube logo in the top left corner, it turns red and becomes smaller for just second and than it’s gray again.. Why two logo’s?
