oh here we are
Hello just noticed this thread and yeah i saw some too… and also my eye catched on Iphone templates i believe placdarms made a tutorial on that and this is why this stuff now is so popular to make, because the phone itself is really full made in after effects and it makes it very advanced and its easy to get accepted to videohive also there is no need of very complicated animation or any idea for the template
( what i really ment to say is that some people are just lazy
but still want to get some good sales ) But i,m not bothered by that
i think all other people who think a bit diferently should be happy because this is only less competition for us don’t ya think ?
Because i,m pretty sure that buyers notice these things ….

Hey rules are good
but if you don’t get caught then you’re good ! Am i right ?
Well, here’s an idea. Why not make a requirement to submit source project files for 3D pre-rendered elements? It could just be another field to fill out in the upload form.

nope.
some 3d files/scenes may be quite complicated with various types of textures, animations, materials… this stuff cost money and just give it for free/bundled in a template to prove some hypothetically not use of the element3d plugin from video copilot is illogical.
also about tutorials for iphone and whatever. If the template needs to show an iphone is obvious it should need to look as close as possible as an iphone. I can’t create an iphone completely different of the iphone just because someone made some tutorials about it some time ago. Tutorials, btw, that I did not watched or knew existed. Is easy to have a happy trigger and insinuate some ugly things but using layers to create the illusion of 3D is an old concept in After Effects.
@doru I agree with you completely. I actually meant to have them made available for review but not part of the download. So only the reviewers could check the source files and make sure it’s not Mr. Kramer’s intellectual property
But then the problem with introducing something like this is that we become guilty until proven innocent…
