Is there a way to have the portfolio open up images instead of a page, similar to http://loom.wpengine.com/product/flying-ninja/

tommusrhodus

No, the portfolio works as you see in the demo.

Congrats to that great theme!

I just updatet to version 2.0.3. and noticed that the Basket Item in the main Navigation looks broken on Safari (Mac), i did a complete fresh reinstall of anything to get sure i didn´t mess with some css or something, but it still looks different than in i.e. firefox.

The Basket in your Demo Page seems to work fine in Safari, did i miss something?

Thanx in Advance,

Frédéric :)

Clear your browser & site cache, you’re currently being served an older version of the file this is styled from :)

Ok, sorry, i´m back … :)

I just installed the loom-child theme in order to make changes into that child theme, so that i can leave the basic theme in original state an easily update whith no fear of loosing any customizations in the future.

My thought was, better use a child theme to override colors, fonts, etc… of the basic theme, does this make sense?

Anyway, when i apply some changes over the editor (color, for example), this applies directly on the style.css of the Basic theme, not the child.

Is there a way to get the changes written in the child theme´s css instead the main theme´s css by using the editor? Or shouldnt i use child themes at all?

Thanx again,

Frédéric :)

Hey Tommus, sorry to bother again, but i think i was a bit confusing here… with “editor” i meant the “wordpress theme customizer”, not the css editor ;)

I think these changes do not apply to the style.css at all, but are stored somewhere in the database, right?

example: http://themefoundation.com/wpv2/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/wordpress-theme-customizer-example-settings-section.jpg

Sorry for the chaos,

thanx again! ;)

Oh, right :)

Yes, the theme adds some colour styles directly into the header from /ebor_framework/custom_colours.php in the theme files, these are only elements that are directly controllable by the theme options though, so you may want to use the colour selectors available to make your initial changes.

Cheers!

Hello Tommus, I’m almost done with my website and really happy about it : http://www.stereoplane.fr/ My problem is my revslider is not fully responsive, image is getting smaller but texts are cut. It’s probably because my text layers are out of the caption grid? The thing is I wanted them to be positionned the same as yours (but yours are not cut…) Can you help me about this? Thanks! Camille

Please contact me from the account that purchased the theme.

Is it simple to change the header to reverse? Black background and white text?

tommusrhodus

Yes, you can do this from “appearance” => “customise”= >”colours”

Hi Tommus,

i was just wondering if it is possible to make the footer “sticky”... so that it always sticks to the bottom of the page, even if the content is smaller than the windows height… ? ( like this: http://www.cssstickyfooter.com )

Thanks and best regards,

Frédéric :)

tommusrhodus

Hey there,

Not in Loom, but you can use a different little trick by adding this to “appearance -> “customise” -> “custom css”

html { background: #000000; }

Fill in that colour code with the same as your sub footer colour code from the colour pickers in the theme options.

Cheers!
