Hi, I think you have bug on home page – masonry (template-masonry.php). When you scroll down and when there are no more posts to load it try to load new posts and add new instance of the add. See the screenshot http://i62.tinypic.com/ekgdbt.jpg

Can you send me fix ASAP?

Thanks, Aleksandar

It should work like here, http://websitesetuppro.com/demos/genesis-masonry/ . When there are no more items to load to write “No more posts to load”.

Hi There,

Please take a look at my demo, like you can see, it works perfectly, please ensure it is not your modifications causing any issues with the theme, if that’s the case make a clean install and use the child theme for modifications.

Also, please note that the support is offered only through the contact form on my ThemeForest profile on the business hours / days like you can see from support tab, which you can find it here: http://themeforest.net/user/An-Themes

Hi,

Can we put pagination after the certain number of post on home page/category.

An-Themes

Hi There,

The Infinite Scroll works like a default pagination, so go to Dashboard > Settings, and from “Blog pages show at most” add a number, the number added will be the number of posts that will be displayed for Home / Categories / Tags etc.

Hi there! How do I stop from creating multiple images in my upload folder? For 1 image that I use in my folder I have 6 pictures. And because I have a huge number of images I need to use 1 or max 2 images. I have some hosting troubles when my upload folder contains over 300000 images :) Thanks a lot! I really like the theme!

Solved! :) I have another question… Where I have to look to change something regarding the header navigation? I have an issue when browsing from mac osx or small resolution. The navigation did not stay fixed onto the white block with logo, and it’s going over the search area… Like the block navigation is bigger than the resolution and it’s wrap… This is my site and still working on it http://www.e-librarieonline.com/ :) I have now 110.000 articles on it and is still working :)

An-Themes

Hi There,

Your site looks very nice, love the logo, good luck with it man.
Regarding your question, you’ll need to open style.css and css/responsive.css files, everything is commented, like that will be more easy to make the changes you want and of course use the Child Theme if you want to add some modification to the theme.

Also, if you have a second, I would greatly appreciate it if you could rate the theme via the Downloads section of your Themeforest profile page. Thanks!

@media only screen and (max-width: 479px) { .logo { width: auto !important; height: 60px !important;} }

Hello,

Great looking theme.

Can the 250X250 advertisements who show on the grid on the home page be disabled/hidden (in theme options, without using custom css)?

An-Themes

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest and for your nice words!
Regarding your question, of course, from Theme Options you can handle all the advertisements spaces.

Thanks for the info. I’m actually thinking about purchasing either this theme or your other theme ‘Bou”. I like Bou a bit more but I noticed there’s no search bar when the resolution is as small as an iphone (in portrait mode). Is it possible to have a search bar in iphone portrait mode as well on Bou (on the top of the page)?

An-Themes

About the “Bou” theme, you can see the search on mobile only in landscape mode, in portrait mode the search will be disabled.

Cheers :)

Does it mean that “1Page = Masonry WordPress News” is compatible with infinite-scroll plugin?

An-Themes

I’m using the same script, but is a custom made, so no need to install the plugin.

Is this theme compatible with Visual Composer?

Is this theme compatible with some user registration plugin?

Thanks in advance.

Hi There,

2. I haven’t tested by myself, that will be up to you, to test and to use the plugin that better fits your needs, one of my customer is using UserPro with 1Page.

Nice theme

Pre-sales questions
  1. Is it possible to put a right sidebar on the default homepage
  2. Is it possible to have the articles open in a pop-up or modal when a user clicks on an item on the homepage
An-Themes

Hi There,

Thanks for your interest!
  1. For masonry style, no, but you have another home page example with sidebar: http://anthemes.net/themes/1page/home-example-2/
  2. No, the theme has the option / features that can be seen in the demo.

hi,

How can i manage or remove the shadow/opacity of the search background

Many thanks for your support

Cheers

An-Themes

Hi There,

If your concern is regarding the opacity, go to Theme Options > Style Settings > Custom Style and paste this style:
.front-overlay-wrap { opacity : 1 !important; }

If you change it to 1, the background image will disappear, that’s why it needs to have a small opacity, default is 0.95.

^ Don’t worry, the problem is that I don’t provide support via comments. The search will always have a small opacity, you can’t make the search to have the opacity 1. The opacity from class .front-overlay-wrap it affects everything from the header.

Are you going to add pagination to 1page? For SEO purposes of course.

Mike

An-Themes

Hi Mike,

Infinite Scroll is SEO friendly. Yes all enhancements are made via javascript only, so search spiders see no difference. The pagination links are still technically in the page for search engines to crawl, so to them, it is as if Infinite Scroll is not active. There will also be an option to disable Infinite Scroll in the next update.

Cheers :)

Default-user

Awesome! Thanks for the information. There is so much “love/hate” with regard to infinite scrolling and SEO that it’s difficult to really pick a side. Regardless, your theme is awesome.

Thanks!

Hi there. Can you help please with an information? I want to put a slide only on home page, but I cannot find the right place to do this. I’ve put the shortcode in the index.php, but the slide appears on every page, tag page and category pages… Can you help me please to tell me where to put that code to show only in the home page? http://www.e-librarieonline.com Thanks a lot!

An-Themes

Hi There,

Index.php file is the default file that will display the categories, tags, etc. So you’ll need to open template-masonry.php file if you are using the Masonry style or template-home.php file if you are using the 2nd Home page with Sidebar.

I am trying to disable the mobile menu for desktop. I am using the following .css:

ul.right-menu { display: none !important; } @media only screen and (min-width: 760px) and (max-width: 1000px) { ul.right-menu { display: block !important; } } @media only screen and (min-width: 480px) and (max-width: 760px) { ul.right-menu { display: block !important; } } @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) { ul.right-menu { display: block !important; } }

This does rid the mobile menu from desktop. However, on mobile applications the menu items (Home, Blog, etc.) no longer render. The tags render, but there is no menu items on the mobile menu.

Any ideas on a fix?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Maybe is because you haven’t created it, you’ll need to create it and drag the links you want to display in the small devices, without a link, I can’t know exactly what problem you have.

Great looking theme! I was wondering what might be the best way of displaying custom post types?

I’m also not sure how to get results to show up using the masonry template. On your example searches show up in a masonry style format, but I cannot seem to replicate that.

An-Themes

Hi There,

Thanks for your nice words and for purchasing my theme!
Regarding your concern, just create a page and choose “Template – Home Masonry” and that’s it :)

Is explained in the documentation too, please read it for a properly configuration, like live search etc, if you have problems to configure the theme, you can install the demo content too, in just 2 or 3 minutes you’ll have the same content as my demo too, with the images included.

Make sure you are using the latest version (1.6), also, please note that the support is offered only through the contact form on my ThemeForest profile on the business days / hours, which you can find it here: http://themeforest.net/user/An-Themes

Thanks for the quick reply. I shall shoot you over a message via support if I still have difficulties.

Default-user

Actually I found a solution to posting custom post types instead of posts. I created a child theme and made a copy of template-masonry.php. I then modified line 51 of template-masonry.php from

query_posts( array( 'post_type' => 'post', 'paged' => $paged ) );

to

query_posts( array( 'post_type' => 'my_custom_post_type', 'paged' => $paged ) );

Seems to work :)
An-Themes

Hi There,

I’ve forgot about custom post types, sorry.
You can use a plugin for that purpose, and yes the theme includes a Child Theme, is more easy like that to make the changes that better fits your needs, glad to know you’ve found an easy solution.

Is there also anyway to change the size of the featured image within a post? It takes up a lot of space on full width. I was hoping to be able to change the size attribute to make it a specific size the whole time?

An-Themes

If the featured image in the single page, will have a smaller size, the theme will look ugly, so no, it doesn’t have that option, but, go to Theme Options > Style Settings > Custom CSS and paste this style:

img.attachment-thumbnail-single-image { width: auto !important;}
