Is it possible to change the footer block black colour to something else? I am not good at photoshop so using psd is difficult for me. However, I can change the colour of any image (that is being used in the footer) to change the colour of the footer.

Mail sent. I downloaded the latest version of this template and installed. But the same old issue with pretty photo is coming again. See the login page (link sent to you earlier through your profile) and look at the texts and links on the bottom left. Also try the scroll bar in the Login page and the page just keeps expanding =(

I bought this theme a couple years ago, but somehow had two accounts with similar username, so not sure my buyer ribbon will show up? Either way, my question is how involved would it be to move to one of your newer themes from this one? Can I just upload the zip file, change it under theme in wp and everything jive or will it become a mess?

Hi,
to switch your site to one of my newer themes, shouldn’t become a mess, your content such as Pages/ Posts, etc. should not be affected, maybe some small stuff that you can easily fix. If you’re using Portfolio then just changed the custom fields if you’re using any because their names would be different provided the same functionality. Also, for the widgets you might have to place them in position again, but I’m not 100% sure about that, they might still stay in the same position from theme to theme assuming the same widget areas are available.
If I were you, I’ll setup a sandbox instance of WP somewhere just for testing and clone your current site there and then update the theme just to see what will happen.

This is a great theme. In the past 2 weeks I have been getting a ton of spam emails via the themes default contact form. I am receiving about 30 of these per day. Any way I can block these?

Good idea, but I’m not doing any more additional sliders to this theme.

Any way of making the images for the Portfolio page link to External sites? Even changing the “Link URL ” for the images to and external page, it still just opens a page with the image

Hi,
unfortunately this is not an option with this theme, those are coded to link to the post by default, you can’t have them to external sites.
