I agree with the above… love the minimal layout, but I think the “article/post” page needs to be reworked abit. There is a waste of a column, where the “date, author, # comments” are shown. If there is a way to better utilize this space would be ideal. For example, showing comments would be a nice feature.
Also, the way the featured images and the first post pictures are handled as mimare has mentioned.
agreed with the above.. i think this is the best theme on the marketplace.. but the single post view is making me hesitant. Is it possible to have some other options?
I had a support ticket filed today for a new single-post template which I’ve provided in the forums, so if you wanted the single-post content to fit the full width of the content area that wouldn’t be a problem. Those files are available.

Very impressive and unique design! One bad thing I noticed is that there is not enough space for 300×250px banner at the sidebar. I guess that the majority of those that need to have a magazine style website will need to have at least one ad zone to fit a square banner.

At the moment there’s space for standard 125×125 ads and some great plugins to do the job. But I’m always open ears to suggestions so cheers for your thoughts, vadims.

For those who have already picked up their copies – I sent in the first update yesterday to fix a couple of small niggles and the review team have just approved that update. So I would recommend grabbing the files again from your downloads section to get your hands on those couple of fixes.
If you’ve made mods to the theme and don’t feel comfortable overwriting the folder, the important files to update are:
/skeleton/base.css
/js/init.js
And remember the door is always open to the support forum at http://pau1winslow.ticksy.com for if you have any questions or need any help at all. The current average response time for support according to my ticksy stats is just over an hour

Is the single page issue fixed inside the current package? I seen it on your demo and they are right, it doesn’t look good currently. I want to pickup this theme but only if that is fixed, and I am concerned about not being able to use a 300×250px ad in the sidebar. Is that being addressed?
If those 2 things are good then I am all over this. Please let me know so I can decide which theme is going to dress my site.

Yes if you wanted to change the style of the single-post page, those mods are ready and waiting for you in the support forum.
Increasing the sidebar width is tricky. At the moment there’s space enough for 125×125 ads but I will be keeping this in mind, if there’s something I can do I will absolutely do it.

I think I am going to hold off. The sidebar size would steer me away as well as having to do a mod right from the start. Really want a theme that is ready to go. Its a great start though and I will check your stuff out in the future.

If you needed unlimited sidebars there’s a handful of plugins that are doing a great job of that (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/unique-page-sidebars/)
3 custom widgets already ship with this theme (tweets, issue info, latest posts), but sure you can get your hands on more via plugins if that’s what you’re asking.

I’ve made some modifications on my website with this theme (fixed headebar, fixed sidebar, shift logo on header bar), but I have some problems when I resize the navigator to mobile dimensions…
1) Logo doesn’t appear 2) Sidebar is on background
I just want to disable the sidebar on mobile display, and put the logo on the header…

Lovely theme. For the navigator bar, does it have dropdown menu’s for sub categories?
Also how easy is it to change the colours of the theme. Would like a different one in place of the orange.
Havent purchased but swinging that way if these two things are easy enough.

Nice theme. Two things I would love to see ‘fixed’ before buying – category page shouldn’t have orange hover with category name repeating on each story image, also how can i add twitter, facebook, etc. buttons in the center gutter between new post and featured post (below comments)? Thx.

At the moment it won’t support videos in place of the featured image, but they can easily be popped into the post content.

Hi, I just installed and activated this theme on 3.4.2. When I go to create a new post, I’m not able to select a template type (i.e. homepage template). I checked out template-home.php which has the following header: /* Template Name: Homepage */ I’m not sure what I can do to remedy this, any thoughts?

Hello, what about mobile browsing? On a smartphone there are some problems with navigation
The problem is using an smartphone if I click on an headline of an article the article is not shown. What is it?

There must be something totally wrong in the mobile version. You always see first all articles and never simply an article. And the problem is you cannot use the theme simply as an desktop version for the browser. That would be enough. But instead all people looking with a smartphone smile and ask what it is.
