Updates

How to update:

Download the package again from TF, unpack it, open the unpacked folder, go to the theme/ folder, unpack the zip from that folder then just access the ftp and copy the folder over the one you have in wp-content/themes . Go to the Theme Settings and click Reinstall Table. Done!

OR

Deactivate and delete the theme, download and install the new zip by downloading the package again from TF, unpack it, open the unpacked folder, go to the theme/ folder and selecting that zip. Go to the Theme Settings and click Reinstall Table. Done!

Also, remember to backup your custom.css if you have done any changes to it.

In the sortable portfolio, how can I make the big images landscape ?

go to Theme Options > Extra CSS and write

.big-thumb { height: 430px; width: 320px; } replace 430px and 320px with your dimensions

WordPress won’t activate this theme as there are some file missing.

Please unpack the main zip first – then you will find the theme zip in the theme/ folder

I have updated to a version prior to 1.4 but I don’t think I have the latest options in my admin panel ( Theme Options ).

Unpack the Abrax theme on your hard drive. Go to Developer Settings > Import > Theme Options XML > Click Upload > Go to the newly unpacked Abrax theme folder > Go to option-data folder > Select theme-options.xml > Click Import XML

All done.

I can´t see the widgets on the pages – but they are displayed in the blog. Can you help me?

For the pages, you have a different sidebar area -> General Page Sidebar

Also, you can select a specific sidebar for every page if you look below where you write the post and select a specific sidebar from the Specific Sidebar select menu.

What does the package/optionalpreviewdata include ?

This directory is for users that want their theme to look exactly like in the preview.

abrax.wordpress.2011-06-30.xml – the posts from here > http://thezoomer.net/theme5/category/blog/ < can be imported via the wordpress importer

homepage_underpage.txt – like the title says, the text under the homepage main text in the preview

preview_contact_page.txt – the html for the contact page ( like it looks like in the preview )

How can I see the fonts included look like ?

Just go to http://www.google.com/webfonts#ChoosePlace:select , they are all there and most of them are included as an option in the theme.

I want to make some CSS changes and I don’t want them to be overwritten on theme updated. Is there any place for this ?

Yeah, sure. The safest way is to do this – http://vimeo.com/19978526 , but if it seems too complicated, you can go to css/custom.css and make your changes. It’s a blank css file ready for you to make your customizations, that we try not to overwrite on theme update.

How do I increase the header size ?

access css/custom.css or your custom child theme and write this

How does the photo gallery work? I noticed that you can put two galleries on one page. Can you also put in text/slider in between the two galleries or above the first gallery like a post/page?

Hi, the photo gallery presented is a admin managed photo gallery included in the theme. You can check the admin here

As you can see, you can create as many galleries as you want and disperse them however you want in the posts/pages by this simple shortcode:

Yes, you can have a image/slider in between.

I get a console error: jQuery is not defined / The slider does not work / Nivo slider does not load…

If you have a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache make sure minify JS is not enabled.

How can I make the adresses on the contactpage next to the contactform?

search the downloaded package and you will see in optionalpreviewdata/preview_contact_page.txt exactly what you need, the contact form page is a simple fullwidth page with this code

How can I increase the font size in a toggler in Abrax Theme?

In the Theme Options page, go to the Extra CSS tab and write

.toggle-title h3{ font-size:40px; }

replace 40px with your value.

where can I chage the ‘find out more’ button in Abrax theme?

Go to Theme Options, in the Extra CSS tab and write

Hey, just go to Theme Options > Extra CSS tab. Write at the end

For menu: Theme Options > Extra CSS -> write:

Replace the first font with whatever you want.

For sidebvar & footer go to Appearance > Font Chooser and select whatever font you want for H2
