I’m using this theme successfully with a Zend Framework project. It has required a bit of customization but for the most part has worked well.

One thing I would like to see is set of icons to go with the theme. The image folder is a bit sparse in that regard. It’s a minor quibble as there are good icon sets out there.

I would recommend the Fugue icon set, you can download it from http://p.yusukekamiyamane.com/ and use them for any element you like :)

Hi enstyled,

I just wanted to ask you how secure is the file uploader. Is it vulnerable to XSS or any other kind of attacks?

Thanks

enstyled

It is quite basic, but you can customize the PHP script to protect it as you need.

I love it. :)

But the option box (when click on select tag) look quite funny especially when there is only one or two options there.

:) You can always use a standard select input where you need it.

Hello enstyled!

I’m enjoying this template and I’ll give you a suggestion. Maybe in the next version (v1.5?) you can add something like an UISwitch (http://www.skylarcantu.com/images/SkyPhone3/AlternateSwitches.png). If you have an iPhone (or another device what use iOS system) you will understand what i’m proposing for you.

So, how I said, it’s a just suggestion.

Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your suggestion, lucasmoreira, I will consider it for a future update :)

Hello enstyled,

Is it possible to make a change in the theme so that the selected item in the block with sidebar is chosen by the given id in the url (not an anchor)?

For example I would like to have something like this: - page1.php?tab=page1 selects the first tab from the sidebar - page2.php?tab=page2 selects the second tab for the sidebar - page3.php?tab=page3 selects the third tab for the sidebar

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Thanks for a great template.

I’m having some problems with my buttons, they simply won’t get the style. What am I missing?

Take a look : http://app.tixx.dk/log-ind.aspx

I copied the source from the demo for this login-page and converted it since I’m working in .NET. This adds some name and id stuff but I guess that shouldn’t mess it up.

Hope that someone can see the solution I don’t :)

Hello, ulriknedergaard,

The forms are expected to be inside the blocks and therefore the styles are not applied. Open css/style.css and look for the /* Forms */ section. You can remove the ”.block” part at the beginning of each row to make all your forms styled.

Hello, First of all thanks for such a nice template :)

I think I have found a minor bug: adding form into a box with sidebar.

Please take a look at the Live Preview, find box with “Big text box with sidebar” title. Now, insert a form whatever /p at the top of sidebar content.

Expected result: the form’s elements are placed just like in any other box.

Actual result: the form’s elements are displaced, they are somehow aligned to the last list item of div class “sidebar”.

When removing the “clear:both;” from ”.block form p” style fixes the problem, but I guess it will break something elsewhere.

Hey,

i have a question regarding the ajax file upload. I changed the PHP part so that it fits my needs. My PHP returns a JSON string.

I tried to change the responseType in the custom.js to both application/json and text/plain but I have a HTML pre tag around the JSON string. The response from the server doesn’t have these tags.

Can you provide a fix for the problem or the source files of the ajaxupload so that I can look for the error on my own?

Thanks in advance, Max

enstyled

Hi,

Can you send me your PHP script so I can take a look at what the response is? I am testing with an JSON response type and do not get any error.

Hi,

First of all thanks for such a nice template.

I am using this theme in one of my application.

In one of my page (containing two blocks left and right) i am using jquery validation for form fields (in left block).

I have applied required validation in some text boxes and select boxes.

These validations are working fine but there is a css related issue.

Right now the validation message is coming to the right side of the text box but in case of select box it is coming below.

I am attaching the screenshot for your reference:

CSS for the select box and jquery label

/* Custom form select element */ .block form select.styled { width: 245px; height: 18px; margin-right: 20px; cursor: pointer; } .block form .cmf-skinned-select { padding: 7px; display: block; margin-right: 20px; border: 1px solid #bbb; -webkit-border-radius: 3px; -moz-border-radius: 3px; border-radius: 3px; background: url('../images/sdd.jpg') center right no-repeat; } .block form .cmf-skinned-select:hover { background: url('../images/sdd_.jpg') center right no-repeat; } .block form div.cmf-skinned-text { padding: 5px 7px; font-family: "Lucida Grande", Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: #333; } /* jquery errors css */ label.jqueryError { background: url(../app_images/error.gif) no-repeat scroll 0 0; color: #E3302C !important; padding-left:20px; line-height:30px; } label.jqueryValid { background: url(../app_images/success.gif) no-repeat scroll 0 0; width: 16px; height: 16px; }

Can you please help me to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance, Pankaj

Hello, Pankaj,

Can you send me an e-mail from my profile page, with the user that bought the template, as I can see you haven’t purchase it.

Also, send me a link to your application, so I can take a look at the code.

Hi again! I think I have found an CSS related issue: input fields inside .block .small divs. In style.css, line #819 there is:
.block.small .block_content input.text, .block.small .block_content textarea {
    padding: 7px;
    width: 96%;
}
The CSS above overrides line #629:
.block form input.text {
    /* more declarations */
    padding: 7px;
    width: 410px;
}

That is because #819 selector is more specific than #629.

So, the default size of text field is different (wrong in small blocks).

Exactly same thing applies to the date pickers (width 96% instead of 100px), so they are huge when in left or right blocks.

The design is very nice, good job on that!

However the implementation is poor: The author uses images for rounded corners and gradients, and the ie.css file is a list of browser hacks… Also, the documentation, while quite extensive, is still very incomplete. For instance, there are no documentation on how to style forms. The good thing is that there is an example index.html file that contains a bunch of example without which using this template would have been unusable.

I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed.

enstyled

As you can see the template has full support for older browsers, that is why the rounded corners and gradients are made with images. The ie.css file is a set of fixes for IE6 and IE7 .

The purpose of the provided code is exactly to be an example, instead to bloat the documentation with HTML code. You can just copy/paste from the example file on the go. The more specific things are described in the documentation.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed, most buyers are really happy with the template and no one has ever complained about not understanding how to work with it.

Hi,

I am trying to make the wysiwyg editor resize. How do I go about doing that?

cheers.

enstyled

Hello, DIPSI ,

I am afraid the WYSIWYG plugin doesn’t support vertical resize, as it uses an iframe.

Hello,

Is it possible to combine the tabs with the sidebar – so that we have a single block with both tabs and the sidebar?

enstyled

You can have the tabs on top as hyperlinks and the sidebar as dynamic JS links. Hope that works?

As the documentation says, it is possible to turn the sidebar links into regular hyperlinks by deleting the sidebar section in the javascript file. However, this turns it off for all of them. Is it possible to make the js smarter so that it allows for both – in page links and regular hyperlinks?

enstyled

Hello, crweb,

You can add an extra class to your block divs that holds the ones you want to apply the JS, lets say class=”block withsidebar jstabs” and edit the sidebar script in custom.js to be applied to the .jstabs only.

Hi Enstyled,

Yes, that should work! Thanks!

Hi,

Is this template also for Wordpress?

Thanks

enstyled

Hello, Subasi,

No, Adminus is not available for WordPress, it is a site template, you can integrate it yourself, with a CMS you like.
