I have set up a child theme and activated it, but the changes I have made to the style.css file in the child theme folder are not taking effect. I know the child theme itself is working because I put a revised footer.php file in my child theme folder and I can see those revisions on my site.
Is there any special code I need to add anywhere for the new style rules in the style.css file to be recognized?
