Ageless Responsive Multipurpose Theme

Hi there,

I purchased Ageless this afternoon and seem to be having some issues with setting background images.

Originally I set my own background image using the Theme Options section, however I found the theme tricky to manage to I imported your demo content.

Once the demo content was imported I re-added my background image and it displays on everything except the Homepage. The Homepage will only display a white background. I’ve tried about 10 different backgrounds, including full screen and tiled, but none seem to apply to the Homepage.

Any ideas?

It seems the Homepage in general is not working correctly.

Even though I have sections activated within the theme options section they do not display.

We bought this theme on the 1st of February and according to our Wordpress admin interface the version of this theme we have installed is 1.0.1. From what we can read in the comments here the latest version is 1.0.3, but the Wordpress admin interface states that the theme is up to date. How can we fix this?

Does one of the updates from 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 address the issues with viewing on iPad?

I am using the widget called html with shortcodes. I’m inserting shortcode for a tab (it has 3 tabs with text only in the content) and they will not display in the sidebar correctly.

This widget is not referenced at all in the documentation. Is this widget supposed to be able to display tabbed content in sidebar?

This theme is great, but appears to be rather large. Is there a way to adjust the scale?

I installed your theme this morning and have been trying to get different background images to work. I have the default background set, but when I put the URL in for specific pages I want to change the background on, I see the tan background and not the one I uploaded into the Media. The website is www.safendryproducts.com. The product pages are where I need the different backgrounds.

Hello Damojo, awesome theme! Just having problems with the revolution slider, it will let me click edit slides, but it wont let me upload/add new slides the button just clicks no pop up box?

Theres also a problem with twitter widget it don’t view our feed it just says our name as a link and when you click it takes you to out twitter and we did go to twitter and copy the code and followed all the instructions.

If you could help out that would be perfect

After installing W3 Total Cache in our WordPress site, we finally managed to get an “A” score for both Page Speed Grad and YSlow grade.

However, the file …/wp-content/themes/ageless/css/screen.php?ver=3.5.1 seems to be a bottleneck, that unnecessary causes the page load time to increase.

About 95% to 98% of this file is pure css that could be easily cached and minified by W3 Total Cache. Unfortunately, the css code is part of a php file that “cannot be cached as these files are presumed to be dynamic”. (Frederick Townes – author of W3 Total Cache explains this in a discussion on http://wordpress.org/support/topic/files-with-cssphp-and-jsphp-extensions-not-getting-cached.)

2. Don’t minify, nor cache the php file

I have been thinking about a workaround for this, but up to now didn’t come up with any solution. Is it possible to have a look at this please?

Yes you can minify those files (unless they have bugs), but I often recommend avoiding it because if there’s ever a bug that makes them return invalid CSS, your entire site layout “breaks”.

Just wondering how I can remove the grey border around the slider? I made all the numbers match the numbers that were given in the themes option tree, and I also removed the padding, and the border is still there

Hi, will a future update to this theme have the ability to add custom styles? Or change the colors of buttons if possible? Unless it does now but I don’t see anything.

Is it possible to remove the lightbox and link options from the portfolio hovers? I’d like all thumbnails to link directly to a page rather than give users a choice. Is that easily accomplished?

What are good values to use for the responsiveness of the revolution slider in order to get it to look good with the design of ageless? Works great on desktops, but on ipad 4, the slider breaks the responsive design of ageless.

Unless I don’t see it. This theme is missing a 404 page.
