thats possible easily:

edit css/screen.php line 104: change “repeat” to “repeat-x”

Hello. Having a bit of trouble with the theme. We are able to get it uploaded and import xml but when we start trying to edit any thing it seems to error out. Also part of the import errors. All of the portfolio page imports go to “invalid post type”. As soon as we open the default “home” page and save it again it seems to lose all formatting, background, etc. Even if we do not change any of the actual content of the “home” page as soon as we publish it messes up. Any ideas?

Hi,

thanks for your interest.

You need to change the background color in css. The best way to do this is by inspecting elements in chrome or firefox and it will tell you the file and line you need to edit.

Changing content is done pretty much like in any other wordpress driven site. What exactly do you need to know?

Thks for this quick reply ! I don’t want the header’s background to be white (not suitable with my logo)... and don’t want the blue line on top of it. Besides, i’d like to be able to insert fixed infos in an image). Sorry for not being very clear, but my english is a bit rusty (awful french speaker)

With a few small modifications you can change the header background color. The blue line is easily removed.

Im not sure what you mean by fixed infos in an image. Its not included if you can’t see it in the theme demo.

Sure, you can add a larger logo but not an image with the size of the whole header (if thats what you mean).

For some of the things you need you definately need to make some css changes.

Did you read the quick install guide that is visible when you activate the theme? The plugin is not contained as its a free plugin in the official plugin database. Just search for “contact form 7” under plugins in the admin system and install it.
