I was wondering why after downloading the latest Agency theme and uploading to my site it still says version 1.3 and not 1.3.1
Is this by design? B
Perhaps we just didn’t update that information in style.css but it’s surely v1.3.1 already

Flower, I didn’t fill any data… yet I see DATE , CLIENT, AGENCY printed on every page of my portfolio slides. After I tried deleting portfolio-meta in single-portfolio.php where I see DATE , CLIENT, AGENCY mentioned…. however that didn’t work either.
Please create support ticket or email me because we conduct all support requests through these places. My recommendation would be to use the newest v1.3.1 version of the theme. This enables you to leave those fields empty. Previous versions didn’t have this option. Anyway, please use our support forum
Someone will investigate and fix that for you if you open support ticket.
Are you planning on making the theme compatible with i.e. 7 and ie8? As it is now when opened with ie 7 or 8 the site is unusable and it crashes the browser. I understand that not all css transitions and animations are available for ie, but the site should be at least usable without any animations on ie. People should be able to click on the links and the pages should open.
If there are no plans to work on compatibility, please let me know where the challenges are and I will take a look on finding a solution to make the theme at least work on ie.

First of all, you seem to be familiar with current browser realities. Just to clarify things those are actually IE problems that it doesn’t display websites correctly. The Agency is HTML5 valid (and somehow CSS3 valid if you take a closer look at errors that CSS validator returns): http://gyazo.com/4283183543c1d90eacfeb9cac609b18d.png?1332839196 and it still breaks in IE7 , IE8 in some places.
Secondly, we promised to do what we can to make it display better in older browsers so thanks for reminding
You can expect improvements in 1.3.2 version (current is 1.3.1).

1. WHERE is the Blog? does it support blog function…? I can´t see it on the demo?
2. For a few weeks – another person asked about Custom URL links for thumbnails – i need this function too- i will set up for example the portfolio site as mainpage ore the futured articels – and use the Pictures as it is in the article – the only difference – the url!? a custom url option and with with target blank funhction, will be great…:)

So, you’re planning to have thumbnails link to some other page? If so, that would require some slight changes to template-portfolio.php file. There’a s loop that lists all images. You’ll have to add it a custom field call and use that custom field in admin panel to put links to external pages. If you’re familiar with WordPress and PHP I ’m sure you’ll get by editing it. 1) It support “news”. Those are short pieces of information. You can create blog by going to Pages > Add new (pick blog template as page template). Then you can simply create posts
2) Custom URLs are not possible. You can create support ticket though and someone will give you more precise advices on how to achieve this
I purchased this but I realized news section is not as good as a blog section. Could please let us know the status on the blog integration? Thanks
News section is limited to short pieces of information. Entire theme is kept as simple (pages are short, project descriptions are short). The main idea was to only include the most important information.
Extended blog will be available in v1.4. We’d like to first release our other theme because they will both share similar blog template.

Please check header.php and look for “works” or “pages” word
It is hardcoded (we couldn’t find any other way to put it there using appearance > menus or similar WP system).

Loving my new website thus far. I have a few questions I’m hoping you could assist me with.
1. How would I make it so that when you click on a portfolio category, the unrelated thumbnails disappear and just the related thumbs re-organize themselves? I am using this as a photo blog and as the event count gets larger for any particular category, it’s hard for the user to scroll to see related content from the menu selection when they’re all scattered with the disabled thumbs.
2. Is there a way to include the pages to slide with the menu when you have the the menu in the “Standard Moving Menu” option???
3. There seems to be a border around all images I add to the pages. Can you point me to the part in the CSS to remove this, please?

1) In header.php there is click event for .pf_nav class. You can expand it and add display: none or visibility: hidden (or width:0 or opacity:0) to inactive thumbnails. If you’re looking for some neat reorder animations then a help of some developer might be useful. Technically, only that one place handles everything.
2) Unfortunately, there are only options available in admin panel. You can of course expand #header hover animation in header.php to also move content. It’s the same principle as in my answer above. You just add add a few additional lines of code to move more selectors.
3) I may suggest to use Firebug for Firefox or “investigate element” function in other browsers to check the line on code. I can obviously let you know which one is it but I’ll need your website address

Hello, I love the theme, but I would like to know if there is any option for when you select a sub-paragraph as photography or printing, only appear in the main this work, and not all.
My problem is I have many jobs, and only would want to go aside those I select in each section.
I got 19 works in my portfolio, if i create new one i got the error:
Error (error): Internal Server Error
Can not open any work anymore until i delete the last added item from my portfolio.
Please help!
Internal server error means that server encountered some error while executing the script and you should look for cause in server settings. One person has internal server error so far and it was caused by ‘memory-limit’ set to 24Mb in server settings. Changing that to 48Mb resolved the problem.

I can’t guarantee that this is the problem so if that won’t work please let me know and I’ll suggest something else. There are variety of possible causes. The most probable one seems to be related to server resources in your case.

First of all, nice theme !
I have the following issue : I’ve created portfolio items just as you mentioned on the documentation. (I have the last version).
But when I click on the thumbnail picture on the front, there is a few seconds loading then this error message : “no valid projects”.
The strange part is that when I’m on the admin and when I click on “Preview”, I can see my portfolio item perfectly.

Please fill in title (double), description, main image and thumbnail image for at least 1 portfolio project. That data is necessary and it is often skipped by users. I hope that this will solve your issue

1) Landing page before proceeding to main theme pages – yes. Other than that only thumbnails can be set as homepage.
2) I’m not sure how it’s supposed to look like but I guess you can add that with slight modification of theme files.
3) Hmm, slide descriptions are text. They are not part of image.

I just bought this theme and after installing it, I was trying to import the sample data with the xml file but I keep getting the following error: Failed to import Media “logo”; Failed to import Media “1” etc. Even after chmoding to 777 and trying on different servers I still get this error.
Any idea how to solve this?

Everyone is getting this error including me on my server. WordPress Importer/Exporter plugin sometimes returns this error and sometimes it doesn’t. When I was creating this file (XML) I just went to Tools > Export and exported sample content (posts, portfolio posts, some settings) and now it has problems with importing all that.
Good news is that even if you get this error, everything have imported successfully
Please just leave it like that. Now you only have to go to “Portfolio > (some post)” in admin panel and add you images instead of our ones. Our live demo images won’t load because they are for live preview purposes only.
So, once again, everything is fine – you don’t need those media things that failed to import. Many users reported this and I had this error myself, too multiple times. I can safely say that everything is fine and you’ll soon have fully working and functional website

From what I see on the screenshot I’m almost certain that it’s some misconfiguration in WordPress admin panel. You need to list posts under both main categories and sub-categories.

Font can be changed under Appearance > Typography. There are various fonts available (450+) and many of them should support Greek text. Our support staff members can help you configure settings if you open support ticket.
Is it possible to have the transition adjusted from the portfolio thumbs in the square grid? Instead of wipe and going to the big image, it would be great if they sided up and made room for it to grow to a larger size. If you can do this, I’ll def be interested to buy this.

I think multisite support depends on WordPress configuration rather than theme: http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
Theme structure is very similar to default WordPress themes so I believe there shouldn’t be any problems. We didn’t add any specific MU functions though. I’m not sure if they are even required.

Secondly, if you’re running MS server it’s likely to have DOCUMENT _ROOT misconfigured and you may need alternative file to set it up correctly (as recommended on php.net on DOCUMENT _ROOT page). We can send you that file. It’s very quick modification.

1. Is there a way to have a video act as the background slide for a portfolio item? I would like to have a video that auto plays be the first thing someone sees for some of the projects I want to post.
2. Also, is there a way to deactivate the next and previous hover buttons for portfolio slides? And perhaps replace them with a close button that allows someone to exit the portfolio item say back to the thumbnail grid? I noticed some close button graphic buttons in the image files of the download so thought perhaps this was a concept you were playing around with.

1) Unfortunately, first slide (“cover” or “information” slide of project) can be only image. Each project has specific structure. When you enter it you can read about it on first slide and then proceed to images or videos. We didn’t add video as an option because that wouldn’t match original idea. Video would distract people and we would probably have to hide precious introductory information for entire project to avoid covering video. I hope you understand the idea behind it
Everything is intended for the best possible user experience. You may consider that when trying to do what you’re planning to do.
Some people have successfully created various modifications for their specific needs including that one. I think that’s the only way. I’m sorry if that’s not the answer you were expecting to get.
2) Yes, you are right. We were planning various modes including the one with close button and including X instead of >| at the very end of each project. We decided to use only one mode because you can always get back to thumbnails grid after clicking “All works” in the menu to the left. While menu is accessible all the time X seemed redundant (like copy of the same behavior).

I think it can be a copy of “All works” button. I suggest to contact some freelance developer to help you with such modifications.
