I love the look of this. Very nice matted look. Bookmarked!
Thank you very much CCMovies!
Nice design. For sake of conversion it would be nice to see some landing pages with the Call To Action above the fold. I understand this might not make for the most aesthetic design but design has to consider economics, not just aesthetics.
Well you should check out our other landing page, there’s some above-the-fold action there: http://staging-html.gothemeteam.com/slickster/.
However you should google “myth of above the fold”, there’s a lot of debate on the matter. I’ve happened to have done dozens of landing page designs for Bills.com and the only rule that there really is is that you don’t know anything about conversion until you test. And often times calls-to-action being above the fold have a negligible effect on conversion.
Here’s a good article on the matter and it’s from Boxes and Arrows, perhaps the most respected UI/UX blog: http://www.boxesandarrows.com/view/blasting-the-myth-of.
I also think there’s a big misconception when it comes to design that aesthetic and functionality are mutually exclusive. That’s perhaps because our industry is relatively new compared to other design and engineering fields. There just aren’t as many good examples of the cross roads of the two. You certainly don’t see people point to an Audi, BMW or Ferrari and say sure it looks good therefore it probably doesn’t work well. And for some reason there’s that assumption when it comes to Web design.
I’m just a landing page nerd, so thought I’d share my thoughts as you sound like one too!
Swagger Wagon
P.S. Nice landing page, i love it!Thank you!
hey guys – will this accommodate a True Self Hosted Video? I’ve no wish to ever use you tube, vimeo or any other type of video service which takes my customers eyes away from what my purposes are. Please advise
Hi drmedia1,
This will support any embed able player weather that be a custom player of vimeo, youtube player.
Thanks
very confusing the way you answer this question – are you stating that it will only work with you tube and vimeo only?
I will never buy a file from you or anyone on this or any other site that does not afford me the ability to have the most basic component – my own video posted without having you tube or vimeo or any other LABEL ON MY WORK -
Look – professionally, It just looks sloppy and totally unprofessional to put a dite, landing page or any other proprietary BUSINESS WORK up in front of real prospects who can clearly understand this notion.
To have yet another tacky trailer park looking youtube or vimeo brand to be viewed by my customers… it’s just bad for business. Sorry but I cannot buy your files. That includes any of them from here on out into the future.
drmedia1, there was a typo in what I wrote to you, it should have read “custom player OR vimeo, youtube player.”
It’s just an HTML page, of course you can embed anything in it that you want.
Thank you for the clarification.
How do I set up the contact form so i receive submitted emails etc?
Thanks
Hi robbelo, our theme is an html template and creating the functionality of the email form will require some php.
Here’s a good general example: http://www.phpeasystep.com/phptu/8.html
And if you’ll be using a email newsletter or contact list management tool such as Mailchimp. iContact, etc you can look to their services for actual code examples to integrate w/ a Web form.
Thank you.
so is there an easy way to take a mailchimp form and put it into your style? looking at the example it doesnt seem so
meaning am i able to use your exact styled form but with a mailchimp submission, or will i have to modify a bunch of css?
thanks in advance!
Hi there suhpreem, you might want to look at the code of http://fiveredwoods.com. It might not be a perfect example for what you’re doing but the form does post to a Mailchimp account and posts back a response and has error handling.
And this landing page uses iContact: http://havenapp.com/
Hi again,
Can i use them as an email template?
Hi robbelo, we were just discussing doing email template versions of our landing pages. In the interim you’re welcome to try; however, note that markup that works in email clients is a lot different in most cases than markup for the browser.
nice landing page.I like it..
Hi leventyilmaz
Thanks we are glad you like it!
Will you make your Landing pages Wordpress compatible?
Hi RobPene,
Currently we are just offering them as plain HTMl
Thanks
Thanks for the great template! I used it to build 4hourbodyvideo.com and it looks fantastic. I think your AIDA compliant designs will lead to higher click throughs and conversions. Thanks, Mark
mrflournoy, looks awesome. Tim Ferriss is awesome too! I just followed your call to action and bought the book from Amazon.com now. Thank you.
Can you give me more information on what Icon set your using with the Theme? I’m sure I’ve seen it but can’t seem to locate it on the web anywhere?
Thanks.
Hi stonedonkey,
its http://pixel-mixer.com/basic_set/
Great looking theme – would also love an HTML email version of this. Is there any chance this is in the pipeline?
Cheers,
Dan
hi dwhitmore,
Currently we don’t have any plans to offer the email template but we will keep you in mind if you do plan to.
Thanks
I embedded another video to replace the template one – now the contact from when pressed comes up but is partially covered by the video. How can I fix this?
Where is the #contact-form located? Where do I have to place the email address I want all contact form info to be sent via email?
After reading others comments I am VERY disappointed that there is not contact php form already included in the template. I have purchased $1,000’s worth of templates here and never have wanted a refund until now. You should state in the details that there is not contact form function included.

I have a business that targets Mother of ages 30 to 40. Can you recommend other themes you have created that work great with that audience.
I ask this because most landing pages are meant to brief. However women seem to need more information before you can ask them to take action.
Hello,
Thanks for your compliments.
Our themes are designed for a wide audience. So there are several themes you can use, we don’t know which themes will work for your specific audience.
If you have any other questions, please contact us.

The item details page indicates this template uses 960.gs markup but it doesn’t appear to… what gives?
Hi,

See you there!
Best regards, GoThemeTeam
Don’t mean to be a pain but this a yes / no question… it either is built with 960.gs markup or the item description should be changed.
Hi,
We will check this again, if true, we will adjust it!
Thanks, GoThemeTeam
Why wouldn’t you guys include a working contact form? It’s reasonable to assume from the live demo that a form is included. It’s very disappointing when you learn AFTER PURCHASING the file that you have to manually code the contact form in.
Hi,
I guess you are right, we will place a text on the product page of this theme here on TF.
We can help you out with the form on http://help.gothemeteam.com
When you are disappointed about the theme you can ask your money back at sales@gothemeteam.com

Miss the php form… Are you serious ?
I feel really really angry. We pay to have facility with landing page, not ?
Give us facilty, give me the php please. And give it now for everyone to avoid those remarks in the futur.
Thanks.
