Hi,

I’m ready to buy this template. I’ll like to know if the bugs are already fixed for popular email clients.

Thanks

Hmm, this is a bit disappointing, still no update, I should have read the comments before purchasing also

Just purchased this yesterday ,

Can’t say I am too impressed so far , don’t get me wrong it looks great in a browser but when sending via the likes of mailchimp to hotmail or outlook accounts it’s not looking the best for me ? Maybe I am doing something wrong but the images are not displaying from the background urls in the css styles for a start. I have even used the direct version from the download and it is not working. Disappointed I spent $12 on this to say the least.

Hi there Brandon,

As one of your previous purchasers I was pretty excited to see this design of yours and set it up with a client newsletter. Like a few of the other purchasers I didn’t do my homework properly and set up the template with your e-mail and made my changes.

But how embarassing was it to discover that when the client opened up the message on their outlook yesterday, everything was terribly out of whack. I really appreciated your support of the Shapeshifter Design when I implemented that earlier, but it seems you’ve let this e-mail template fall down.

I am also a bit disappointed I spent the money on this but I suppose it is my fault that I didn’t check it out fully before purchasing.

Might have to look at using a different template altogether now or try to fix it all myself. Not really the time savings I had hoped for when purchasing!

I purchased this to save time, not spend hours fixing it’s bugs.

Don’t waste your money on this template like I did.

The way the CSS is written, it is not supported by Outlook. CSS with images as backgrounds is still not accepted in all of the email clients, and one of the largest ones…Outlook does not support it.

Unfortunately, I see that a lot of people have purchased this template. In Outlook it falls apart and it is not recognizable. Too bad the author didn’t test it in the MAJOR clients.

Dear Author,

Just bought the Airmail template.

When sending for a gmail account, the background doenst show up on received email. Neither on Outlook.

Do you have any idea why is this happening?

Even not showing up background in Gmail, it isn’t verticaly alligned….

Help and support is needed.

Thanks

BEAUTIFUL design.

BUT , background images are a major component of the Airmail template and the background images do not show up in Outlook 2007.

Without the background images, this template looks horrible.

Read the comments on page 3 and 4 before choosing to buy this template.

Hi guys,

I feel your pain here. I bought this nice template to save time, not to spend more time fixing crap. In the meantime, I think I’ve come up with a smart solution.

As a note, I think it would be pretty unfair for epicera to make money from my fix! If any of you that have already purchased are interested, I can send you instructions by email.

Here is a Litmus preview of the templates working:

http://thepapertiger.litmusapp.com/pub/6df46db

Just email me at fholgado at gmail dot com and I can send you the code for the fix!

Again, I think it’s really unfair that this guy has made almost $7000 from this template yet it it’s pretty worthless without being fixed.

PS: Epicera, get in touch with me if you are interested.

Will do and thanks :) To be honest, I’ve been slammed with wedding stuff the past couple weeks and won’t be fully back online until late August – hold tight until then and I’d love to chat with ya! Brandon

The Author’s comment doesn’t speak highly of his respect for his clients.

“To be honest, I’ve been slammed with wedding stuff the past couple weeks…”

The template looks nice, but if it doesn’t work, he’s falsely advertising.

It’s unfortunate that he doesn’t respond to those who have paid for a product that’s not working.

THEME does not work for AWEBER .com either. 600 unhappy customers!

I think we should ask themforest for our money back and get a refund as this email template has not done what is said IT WOULD !

I would like to purchase this template, but are the bugs fixed? I plan on using it with the sendblaster 2 software, and will be using it for all my future emails to 1000+ recipients, so it has to be good. It looks really good, but just weary of all the recent comments.

I didn’t read the reviews and bought this and I’m disappointed like the rest…. don’t buy this template! lol

I purchased this template. THe claim ‘Full supported by all major browsers’ is rubbish. Will not open in Gmail (explorer & firefire) or Hotmail (explorer or firefox) or Outlook 2007. There goes 80% of your audience. Don’t bother with this template its horrible.

Please don’t waste money on this template like I did. I am unable to open the psd file in psd viewer or html file in campaigner monitor. Terribly disappointed. :(

what? I knew something was wrong..Im late to this by far..I sent out a ton of these..over the last year or so..I just did a inbox inspection today and found the flaws..I guess to be fair it is not the end of the world..but geez..I just assumed that the author was on top of it however I do not see outlook in the front section..but it is still a widows world out there..most people on a mail list are still on winxp and outlook what ever ..I guess its up to us the buyer to be sure a template meets all the criteria …:(

Hello,

How can I in a template of the newsletter automatically the name of the person appear if you send a newsletter to that person.

Thank u

HTML email building 101 is that all CSS must be in style attributes. This basic rule isn’t followed on this template and that’s why it breaks in most email clients.

I don’t know if there’s other problems, but that is for sure the main problem. So for those trying to fix it themselves, that is what you need to do.
