Hello, I’m very interested in this theme.
I have prospect client who have requested a testimonial slider, you have a slider post on the home page sample theme.
Can it be possible to do a testimonials slider like that?

The design of the slider is more intended to display images. I would think you can probably find something a little nicer for displaying testimonials specifically in the form of a plugin from wordpress.org or codecanyon.net.
The theme uses a layout builder to construct the content. So, what you see in the live demo is just an example of what you could potentially setup. You could just as easily put someone else’s slider plugin up there in the featured area on your homepage or wherever.
Do you have a feature to create a site map? I want to give you guys 5 stars for a great theme I used Yoast SEO with your theme and got us number one in our category in google I truly believe your theme is very SEO friendly great work. I will purchase more of your themes with no hesitation GOOD JOB!

There is no background color on the slider on http://sigep2013homecoming.com/friday-night-banquet-2013/ It should be red as selected at Appearance > Theme Options > Primary Color > Red.
I have two other custom pages created with the Builder, “Ground Breaking” and “Windmill Inn Page” with the identical settings to the “Friday Night Banquet” which does not show red on the page.

Tried to join the forum (I am a buyer), but it won’t let me post. Your instructions don’t match what I see here (My Account > Licenses???).

I apologize for any confusion. Below are the steps to access the support forum.
1) First you need to obtain your purchase code from ThemeForest.net. Go to ThemeForest.net > My Account > Downloads, and download your license certificate, which will contain your purchase code.

Hello Jason, I’ve purchased two copies of your Akita theme for two of my client’s and most recently for my company’s site. In all cases, I’ve been very satisfied with the results. Akita’s Live Demo and access to your clear and concise training videos prior to my initial purchase were impressive locked in my buying decision. It was clear they’d be a giant boost in easing the learning curve. I thought, hey me, this author seems to be thorough…I can’t go wrong. I have to take the credit for being right on that one.

Is it possible to grab from Product Categories (from woocommerce) in the layout builder via Post Grid or Post List?
When I make also a Post of this, I don’t see the “Cart” inside this post.

Great looking theme. A couple of pre-buy questions:
1) At the top where the logo is am I able to use all of that space for a central custom banner/logo i.e can I put what I want there and easily change the width and height?
2) Can I use a portfoilio for videos on the home page? (with a slider at the top)
3) When you click on a video in the portfolio section could it go to a full width page with the video at the top and words under it (as opposed to opening in a lightbox).

1) Yes, there is a theme option that allows you to change the logo, and there’s no specific width/height. Whatever image you insert will get placed there.
Centering the logo would be a CSS customization you’d need to make, but there is a snippet for this in our support forum:

You’d probably want to setup a custom layout and place a slider element followed by a post grid element. In your post grid, all of the featured images could link to lightbox videos, or even embed the videos directly in the post grid with this plugin.
3) Defintely. So, say you’ve got your post grid, as I described above. When editing each post you can set where you want its featured image to link to. You can select for it to link to a lightbox popup or the single post.
This video series will take you through post grids in the theme if you want to know how it all works before purchasing.

Essentially both themes come with all the same framework and basic features. The primary difference is the overall aesthetic design and the options that accompany that for each theme. You can see screenshots of the theme options for each theme on their respective Item Details page under where it says “Features Overview”.
In addition, Arcadian implores design for the various post formats and and has the “Portfolio Module” element you see on its homepage that can be used within the Layout Builder.
