Sorry you are disappointed but the new font works, not sure what are you doing or what you want to do but like i said i tested the font before i sent you the file, you saw the screenshot, it was tested on a new installation with a new database utf8_general_ci (the default option and the same you are using).

i’m not sure how well you know WordPress, if you want to use wordpress using english that’s fine, i just thought that you wanted to use another language, changing the language will only affect the dates (in the theme like posts comments, etc.) you can use english if you want.

About the translation, well i thought it was easy, for example in the portfolio page if you want to translate the words used there you just have to open the file portfolio.php and change the only words used there which is Filter by: and that’s all. i really think this is an easy fix.

Also, please check your index.php file the h3 you will find something like this http://cl.ly/FoEd i think that’s why you don’t see those characters

Changed to the font you sent me and like you saw the database has the custom and right database configs

So what am i doing wrong… nothing

No plugins activated before uploading Uploaded your original folder through WP theme install

All things done to work… and doesn’t

All i want is a fix… i looked to WP forums all the possible errors and spent 1 day already just on this…

So can you give me a fix for this or do i assume there is none?

My friend i am trying to keep myself calm and all but this is at least disappointing…i do like your theme i think it is a awesome design but the number of files you need to mess with to change names, the way from the lovely template (black version widget with those nice icons with contacts – not on manual even) and this font things i asked prior to anything is not cool

So what do i do next, or what fix is there because google fonts with Dalton Maag’s ALLER doesn’t even exist there… i dunno…you made it you tell me what is wrong… softacullous does a clean portuguese install so tell me my friend.

i don’t see what else can i do… cause i did a very detailed step by step install of all things and it doesn’t work usin &acute is a no no for me!

and yes i did see the source code and that is rendering ???? on all accented characters… but from the blog doesn’t work in portuguese you know

You are not doing anything wrong, the new font works correctly i even added the text to your theme so you can see that the font works.

I’m not sure what else do you need you are asking for a fix but a fix for what? the new font is displaying the characters correctly, you asked before purchasing the theme and i told you the truth i sent you the new font (which i tested before) and you said it wasn’t working, i checked your site in your index.php file the text was not correctly, just a bunch of characters, i fixed the text, even added the same text to a page and it’s working so what do you want me to fix?

Also to be on the clear side of things i send you a link with my pre purchase questions and answers and what info is not present on the documentation, and i want the info on how to do it, cause i bought your template for the functionalities it presented and some are not even described

Regarding translation… it is not a couple of words… or a few files i was felt kinda looking for them… and as a customer i must say i like things clear, i try to be clear before so i don’t get any surprises after, and you got to agree i had a few do a search on my posts and you will see.

But well after all this, it comes the time to my final question about the theme and my advise has a art director, when you say simple to a client be sure it is. And a .po file is best and gets you out of these messes as long as you include it in documentation.

I continue saying you do a awesome work, but some improvements in documentation and pre and post sales perhaps you should revise them.

So this are my final questions please check the link and i hope to have a prompt answer since my 18hours yesterday with a font with no accents got me very unhappy after 6 hours of trying to find all the lines with english to change… i am being honest Manu

No you are not right, the capital letters is the default for some headings, i didn’t change that on your site, you can check the demo site if you don’t believe me in any case, if you don’t want the capital letters you change that to the normal size and it will work the same way http://cl.ly/FnXe

About the font, i’ll have to be honest, i think you updated the font correctly (when you created a new js file) the problem was your text in the index.php file http://cl.ly/FoEd, you didn’t test other pages that’s why you spend many hours trying to fix a font that was working correctly.

I know you are right about the .po file (i must admit that i still think that changing those lines is really simple)

So let’s do this, if you have some time please give me at least 2 days and i will submit an update with a po file, the widgets you mention and maybe a new options panel (need to check the compatibility of the new code)

the index.php had this àé not in capital and that was giving the error you noticed (it is posted up there)

it is simple for you that can read code and are confortable with php but since there is a number of files with lots of code it gets messy for a non webmaster and i always said it was my case. but for you sure it’s like me showing you how easy it is to make newspaper styles and you thinking it’s mandarin

Yes about the .po file i will wait since it will be easier to configure my custom version, and about the widgets and formating of those that is lacking in the documentation like those psd’s that you can customise.

We all have families to feed i do understand what you say, nor i want to bother you because it pleases me, at first i was even willing to pay for custom work as long as you said NOT EASY … I am quite alright with those 2 days and if i sent you mails it is because there were times when a answer came a week later…sorry you took it like pressure but clients push my buttons and in this case i pushed yours
