Just put this line in the body tag in the style.css without ” “

I have installed this theme and followed the step-by-step instructions, but my site is appearing blank – I have chosen the right templates for Home, Contact, etc, but its all blank? Site is http://gdxtemp.dreamhosters.com/

NVM : I found out you should not have your site set to Static Page in Settings > Reading.

I’d really like to use this theme without a slider – how can I make the home page show content instead of the slider images?

For me, I found this white space was because of the file encoding – something to do with UTF + BOM . I found the fix was to open all the php template files and re-save with coding UTF without BOM , or ANSI .

I would love to have a Portfolio type for Documents – could I post this as a feature request?

I am pretty much finished with customizing this theme for my website and its looking great! thank for such a nice design. However I am having a hard time with the contact us page. I have read the pdf but im still pretty confused. did you ever do a video tut on how its done? or can you offer an explanation how to do it. thank you!

I love the way the theme works, but i have a very big issue when i try to use shortcodes. Your shortcodes work fine, but the theme is very incompatible with other plugins that generate shortcodes. Pages and posts keep on loading (in Firefox and Chrome) without displaying any content.

Is there a workaround to fix this, because i really need some of those plugins to work.

In the slider edit screen, there is a box for Slider Options but the box is empty? Are we supposed to be able to set different options for the slider? Also, can I have a video for the slider, instead of an image?

Please help: in the Portfolio, if I have just 1 item in that category, sometimes it appears duplicated on the front end. It is not consistent though – some categories with just 1 item don’t duplicate. How do I fix?

Also, according to the Header, there is supposed to be an ie.css file in /css but there is no file by that name?
