Great theme!

Can you use this theme in Dreamweaver?

ThemeBlvd

You can use Dreamweaver’s code editor, but I doubt you’ll be able to use their Visual Editor if that’s what you’re asking.

Hi, Two queries. 1. Which is the best editor for this team. 2. in IE09 fonts looks like Arial whereas in Chrome and firefox looks ok even though the code is there ”<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Yanone+Kaffeesatz”>”

Note: Not sure how it is displayed in your live preview on IE 9 which is fine

1) This is just a basic site template with HTML files, so any code editor will do. Personally I use Coda for everything, but there are many free code editors out there, as well.

2) The google font should work just fine for IE9 . Possibly you’re viewing your site without an Internet connection, or you’ve modified some of the CSS for fonts? The line you pasted above simply includes the font, but it still needs to be applied via the CSS . Maybe you could provide a link to the issue so I can help you with it?

Hi, Thanks for your prompt support. it is resolved. if i use static html via IE then it shows Arial font, whereas if is use appace then it is proper.

Hello, I love your template. does come with the php coding for the blog.

ThemeBlvd

Hello,

No, this is just a static HTML theme. If you’re looking for a dynamic site, you can build the entire thing on WordPress instead.

Hi Jason, I bought this template a year ago and that version doesn’t run in ie9; the fonts are big and bold, and the blue background is split in different places, among other things. I tried running the unedited version I originally downloaded, but same problems. So I downloaded the template again today, and it runs correctly in ie9. Is there something I can change in the code in the version I downloaded a year ago so that my website runs correctly in ie9 or do I need to rebuild the entire website using the new download? Thanks.

ThemeBlvd

I honestly have no idea what I changed at some point. I do not keep an update log for the HTML template. Do you have a link to the site where it’s not working in IE9 ?

Hi Jason – I was just checking this on the iPad 2 and it looks a little messed up. Seems like the stylesheets aren’t loading properly. Can you check and let me know what’s up? Thanks!

Hello,

Considering this isn’t a responsive theme and this is actually the first time I’m checking it on an iPad 2, I’d say it doesn’t look too bad, no? Here’s what I’m seeing:

On this one, what you see is what you get, I’m afraid. This is an older theme and it wasn’t built to be responsive unfortunately.

Hey – That’s interesting. For me, it’s completely different on my iPad.

Here’s a couple of images of the “Standard Page”. You can see that the logo and social buttons are covered from the menu not aligned correctly. Also, in the body, the right sidebar links are covered up by the footer content.

The HTML version of Complexity display fine for me. I’m definitely not looking for it to be responsive, I was just hoping it would show the elements in the proper location.

If this is just how it is, then no biggie and know I appreciate your help and your great work. Thanks man…

Hello,

I honestly will be slowly phasing out these HTML themes from my ThemeForest portfolio all together as this year’s winter season moves along and I fill it with more WordPress themes. So, unfortunately my site templates won’t be receiving any more updates most likely.

Hey Jason,

Just thought I’d let you know my intended use of the HTML version of the Alyeksa theme (will be buying it shortly). My client has some large inhouse databases that they want a pretty, matching front end to. It makes sense for me to buy the HTML version from you, rather than deconstruct it (like I did last time – doh!). If the HTML version of the Alyeska theme was also responsive, then it’d look and act no different for them and the clients logging in to this system than their normal web site does.

In this case, would I possibly be better off doing another “deconstructing” of the responsive theme? (By deconstructing, I mean saving web pages generated by WordPress, then simplifying the linked files etc). Or use the HTML one and hope for the best? A bit of both? ;)

Cheers

ThemeBlvd

I’m honestly not totally sure, but really this HTML theme is something I’m eventually phasing out completely. The markup structure is completely different than the WordPress version. The reason is because all of my WordPress themes work off of a shared framework that comes with a pre-set markup structure. So, realistically this HTML version and the WordPress version are completely different things.

Hello, was wondering how do I put numbers in the template. Well I’m not getting. I’m waiting for a response.

ThemeBlvd

I honestly am not understanding what you’re asking. Are you sure you’re posting on the right product?

This is the Alyeska HTML theme, which I can see you haven’t purchased. Make sure to post on the item in which you’ve purchased and also please be much more specific with your question.

It is rather about this product. I wonder how places at the end of the the main page numbering. Example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ..... 14, 15, 16, 17 Who bought the product was my brother, because I do not have international card.

my new posts keep stating “comments closed,” but I want my readers to be able to comment. I went through every possible reason why this would happen. Do you know why?

can I use Adobe Contribute to manage this HTML theme? Thanks

ThemeBlvd

Hello,

I’m sorry but I honestly have no idea on that one. It’s just an HTML theme, so I guess anyway you can edit HTML , you could use it ;-)

Which WYSIWYG Editor do you recommend to add content, change colors and generally manage this theme? Thanks

ThemeBlvd

It’s an HTML theme; it’s not designed to be edited with any WYSIWYG editor. Maybe the WordPress theme would be more up your ally?

http://themeforest.net/item/alyeska-responsive-wordpress-theme/164366

Forgive me here with the basic question but how do you change the colors on an HTML theme, is it all by code? Thanks

ThemeBlvd

This is all done with HTML code, CSS code, and source images made in Photoshop. If you aren’t familiar with HTML and CSS code, you probably don’t want to buy an HTML theme, or build your site that way.

Great theme! Can you five me brief instruction how to get the audio player working?
TIA

ThemeBlvd

In the theme, you’d just take the sample HTML and replace the audio URL with your own. What specifically do you want to know? Or what is getting you hung up?

tobybrez Purchased

Thanks for the response. Can it play multiple tracks? Can it use a play list?

ThemeBlvd

No, apologies, it’s just a basic one-track player. If you’re looking for something more complex to do multiple tracks, you’d need to incorporate some other kind of player.

Thank you, no worries. It’s still a great theme!

Hi Need to build a new template for a new category pages set. How can I add it?

It is possible to use two different layouts into two different categories? Cheers
