i am new to wordpress and installing themes. i like this theme, and i’ve downloaded it. can i pay you to call me and walk me through installation? i’d like to learn how to do it, so i don’t want to pay you to just install it.

I like your theme, very smooth. I’m not a buyer yet, and I have a question.
Is it possible to move the logo to top left and the menu will be below the logo? So I can add more pages to the menu.

. Yes it possible. Logo is just q widget and can be place anywhere.
Now is 200×70px. If you wish change logo size too, you must edit 1 line in css. I give you deatailed instruction via mail.

I love the theme. Looking through the comments though, it doesn’t look like we have support for WP 3 .2.1 yet. I installed it today on 3.2.1 and it’s still throwing a ton of php errors. I downloaded and installed the new Gantry framework from their website as you recommended and I’m still having problems.
Any idea when you’ll have the 3.2 upgrade finished?

We have still find one PHP error in latest upgrade and it will be fixed today (and new upgrade will be published).
In WP debug mode you can see some notices and it is not the same as error
Our demo http://www.amoveo1.dynamicpress.eu work on WP 3 .2.1 and new Gantry WP 1 .16 (the same plugin version is in actual Amoveo package). And it works flawlessly.
Personally, I helped some customers to install and except in one case that requires a simple correction of PHP configuration has not been problems with the latest version of WP.
Please send me via email description of yours problems. Surely we can find a solution

PS Some issues descripted in comments here have nothing to do with WP 3 .2.1. Sometimes it’s an incomplete installation and sometimes JS conflict with another plugin that uses jQuery without nonconflict mode.
I think I’m probably packing up for the day. Thanks for working so hard on the weekend to get this figured out!

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Currently, the only one custom post type is slideshow. We think about portfolio in update.
So you must create self but it should be easier ass usually. In theme for metaboxes we used WPAlchemy so if you are familiar with this great library…

Just purchased the theme and I am having troubles on install. I have installed using the ‘manual usual wordpress theme install’.
After installttion I do not have a Styles tab in the Ganty/Amoveo admin?
I click on the presets and they seem to do nothing to my actual theme?
I am currently running wordpress WordPress 3.0.1.
Your input on what the challenge may be and how to fix it would be much appreciated.
FYI .. I fear using the ‘launcher install’ because I have many other items installed currently in wordpress install directory that I want to install this theme…. I don’t know if this replaces all currently installed plugins and wordpress databases? and this is not thorougly explained in the documentation.

I figured out my above question, however the styles tab is still not shonw and have another challenge…
All of the ‘radio buttons’ in advanced tab can not be toggled to either an off or on postition?

Not to be too much of a ‘downer’ but I have installed many themes and I am quite knowlegable in wordpress coding/scripting and I am finding it very challenging to say the least in getting this theme up and running.

Trying to get your theme installed, but the gantry framework seems broken. I get an “Cannot modify header information…” error and I can use any of the options, they appear but do not work.
The errors happened randomly, I assume there is an issue with gantry, I’m running the latest version of WP and gantry.

Sorry I must admit I am completely frustrated with this theme..
I have an alert box that pops up: This web site needs a different Google Maps API key. A new key can be generated at http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html.
and there is no mention in the docs how to implement your own code and do not see any settings for it?
There is also no place to upload a logo? and nothing is stated in the docs? Am I missing something here? Yes I can do in and replace the current logo or do script and css revsions, but again seems like quite a bit of work for something that obviously everyone needs to change and make custom?
Is this theme currently broken and is in the middle of an update? I don’t want to bash too much but I am completely lost on this theme and how to get it functioning … shame because it looks like it has so much potential … but with it’s very limited non straight foward docs and set-up challenges I fear many more will find it as frustrating as myselft.
Sorry but needed to get to the point … hopefully you can change my mind on all of these comments with support and fixes?

I’ve just released a new update.
It should eliminate the first two errors in the administration panel those encountered with some server settings.
I ask all buyers to update their version of the theme.

1) whats the process for getting our own logo up?
2) Is there a certain way to implement content into the footer? it seems that that widget won’t pop down to allow me to add widgets
3) the “contact us” and “our partners” sections featured in the header in the featured theme, how do we implement those into our theme?

Hey there I’m on the edge of purchasing. Reading through the comments there are seems to be some lack of clarity on aspects of the theme and in particular how to deal with header & logo.
I would like to know or see if there is or are plans for an option to be able to bring in the header and/or the footer in to the edge of the sheet and not extend out to the edge of the browser that would be great and make the theme very adaptable. Also like in the restaurant theme available here, the ability to hide and reveal the slider and being able to easily implement custom slider on any page with this reveal.
As it is it a great theme a few more tweaks and it’s gona be awesome!

There is no problem with changing the appearance of the header or any other area on the page.

Then go to admin panel tab Gizmos. In las field you must entered valid Google Maps key for your site. You can get it here:
http://code.google.com/intl/pl/apis/maps/signup.html
Eventually if you dont need to use Google Map simply turn OFF this feature in the same place in admin panel.

HI There.
I Just purchased this theme. Installed using the Install script and all went ok. However there are a few very bad things happening with the Theme:
1. When I change style colours using the Skin Creator, the header and Footer colours keep defaulting back to the original colour after saving… but only in the backend… in the front end they appear. This is going to cause real confusion.
2. The other thing is when I change and of the layout positions, it also goes back to default view after save. But this time, it actually does reset to default on the front end. This surely isn’t right? Or am I doing something wrong?
3. Lastly, just in terms of UI and a potentially dangerous thing… when your in the them editor anywhere and have for example typed a colour value or any other input text… you naturally just want to hit “Enter” so that the settings are saved, as is the case with most Wordpress Themes, and Wordpress itself… A dialogue box appears indicating that the theme is going to be reset to default… one extra hit on the enter button and I’ve just wiped all my settings! You may want to look at this.
Otherwise this is a cracking theme, and I can’t wait to get stuck into it, but I can only do so once I have the above first two issues sorted, so any help appreciated.

As for point 2 I do not know exactly which item applies to the observed behavior but it is quite normal if you tried to change the layout of position and this position does not have any widget iside,

Im happy that your installation problems are solved by last update
I have put short description of logo replacement in FAQ section in item panel.
But if these prove insufficient explanation gladly give you further information.
Upload image of the logo via the admin panel come with next update.
