How can we remove unwanted scripts from the header? I edited header.php and all of the scripts are still loading. It’s slowing the site way down.

In Gantry framework header.php is used only by registration forms .
With another words if you will remove or add script, css etc witch should affect for all pages you should add or remove code direct in index.php and eventually in page templates (in our case template-frontpage.php and template-contact.php).

I did do that, i removed 6 scripts that i am not using from header.php, index.php, template-frontpage.php, template-samplepage.php, and template-contact.php and all of the scripts continue to load…is there something else I should be doing?

Our shortcode is really simple. Use Google maps api v2. Yes. You need have Google maps API key as usually (different for each domain) .
This key you enter in admin panel.

As far as I know Envato Regulations provides for refunds when:
“A Buyer may make a claim for refund if a Product is one that cannot be previewed (such as WordPress themes, Adobe After Effect Projects, applications) and the Buyer asserts that the Product is not as described, or is broken or is corrupt.”
I do not think that we are dealing with any of these cases. Please describe your problem with our theme (preferably in the mail via our profile, because then you better give a full answer with attachments for example). I am confident that we will solve it

Hello.
I am having some issues with the rokbox gallery. When viewing the images and clicking the next arrow The next image comes lowers than the previous one.
Is there anyway I can fix that real quick if not can I use Lightbox for my galleries?

Hi, In Rokbox shortcode you can set size of popup.This should solve problem with size. Another possibility is resize all big images to the same deafult for all images.
You can play with Rokbox configuration file (wp-conent/themes/amoveo/includes/rokbox/themes/light/rokbox-config.js in line 30) also.
I have see strange sometimes behaviour of arrows on your page. I don’t know what is cause (maybe Javasript conflict with some 3th plugin).
Position of arrow (exactly arrow contenair) is partialy to set in rokbox-style.css in the same folder. However i dont think that is easy to move this on top only with css.
To do it you must probably edit wp-conent/themes/amoveo/includes/rokbox//rokbox.js and this is not trivial (script is beutified with eval function etc). Of cource it is possible and allowed (copyleft licence) but I personally dont have edit this file never.

What I need is to keep the images that pop in rockbox in the center of any computer screen at all time. Even if users scroll up or down!

I think that I understand yet
I do not think that it can be called a bug. This is a characteristic of RokBox.
Generally, the lightbox like scripts behave differently in this respect.
By Pretyphoto popup image stay allways in center.
But FancyBox or Colorbox works similar to our RokBox. Popup image scroll too.
Look on this example:

Perhaps this is possible configure RokBox script to have behaved like Prettyphoto. But surely this can not be done without editing core RokBox javasript.

Is there any way to adjust for specific browsers? I am having some trouble with content being displayed differently in firefox than any other browser.
Hi,
Generally gantry provides browser detection.
In folder wp-content/themes/amoveo/css you have different browser specific styles (for example template-chrome.css , template-chrome etc.). This styles are loaded only if gantry detect specific browser used by visitor.
Here you can add some styles for correction browser specific issues.

Im also having trouble with some spacing issues in the body of the content. Certain columns are putting themselves higher than others and i can’t adjust the spacing very well between them, Is there any suggestions you have for this issue or my firefox one?

One of the things I like is the Mega Menu and the 4th level menu depth. Would this be possible for every main menu item? and for the new menu I would add at the top? and can I add pictures to the mega menus’ little window?
I understand it is also designed for I phone and i pad?
could I also change the background of header and footer to an image?
And, is there a possibility to put smaller slideshows in widget zones? (is a slideshow a widget?)
I also like the name: AMO , VEO… amo lo que veo, i love what I see…

In our theme we yse Fusion menu (it is kind of mega menu). Multicolumn layou and grouping of item is possible for each menu item.
Regarding Iphone and another mobile devices aour framework support custom themes for this. In admin panel you must only configure thiis themes.
Slideshow is not widget but make it smaller is of course possible (few line in css and code must be change). We have made such modifications for our customers , so code is available any time.

Hiya, well, I might be over tired or an idiot but I have bene going at it with this theme for a while and I am sooooo confused. I am trying to simply set up my header with the logo and the menu the way you have it in your demo, and no can do. I get a huge vertical space between the menu and the logo.

When I play with the layout sliders and save, the revert to something other than I set them to.

Yes it is right way. You should play with negative margin also. It will be not more needed. I check once more CSS but I think that it is only one place tto change.

we have not tested our theme in multisite configuration. From Gantry framework support forum we know that are small issues with configuration of subdomains sites and are solved buti’m not sure if this work fine.
In near future we test it.
Gogle chrome is supported of fourse. We correct browser list immediately.

Where do I find the “Brown Leather” preset that you have on the demo? I bought the theme with hopes of using this present, but cannot find it there.

All presets are stored in file wp-content/themes/amoveo/gantry.config.php .
Preset Brown Learher is named in this array with slug “dark”.
You can chose this preset for preview using url www.yourdomain.com/?presets=dark or choose for edition in admin panel using presets tab (top right in admin panel).
. The slug names used for presets should be more similar to the names of menu items in order to facilitate identification. This will improve in the forthcoming upgrade. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Great theme so far, but seems that once I have placed a sidebar widget on a page, it removes the “full width” from other pages, and adds a blank sidebar area. How are you able to have a full width option on the demo? I essentially want some pages with full width, and some to have a sidebar. . . any ideas?

This is of cource possible. Using custom override you can play with sidebars on each page and have different sidebar content (or no sidebar).

I did update Gantry to 1.21 no change. This just happened suddenly. It’s not the host provider.
Any idea why Grantry framework gets 500 error just like that?

I know only that 1.20 have bug but I install 1.21 without any problem. Please try install manually. Probably you will need place widgets once more in right places.

Nothing works! I did update manually.
The 500 error first happen in Gantry 1.19 I then updated to 1.20 then 1.21 and the 500 error is still there! But it is also in WP login!
