We have already testing this version with our theme. So far is all OK. Upgrade of theme (with new version of Gantry plugin and several improvements) will be ready in a few days longer.

I am receiving “You don’t have any Slides to display.” in the slider content area. I have deleted and recreated the image based slides for this area, set them up in the settings area and have tried multiple slide types and slide sources, but continue to get this error. It worked last night, but not today. I have not changed anything outside the settings area.
I check already your settings (I have recived email with access data).

Some setting was missing. Yet should be OK.

Amoveo is one of my favourite themes to date, it took a while for me to become familiar with the Gantry framework but once I did I found it extremely versatile.
You might think the best thing about the theme is the way it looks and how many options it has, but I think it’s the theme support – I have had several issues with the theme and Kris has helped me with them very quickly and solved problems almost instantl. The support with this theme puts some theme developers on here to shame,

Hello. I have created a page called our blog and it obviously has a url. I would like the posts to show up on this page, but can’t seem to find where I designate that in the Admin.

I’m not sure if I right understand,
If you will display blog from category on specific page then create menu position Blog from category instead of page.
If you will on the top display posts from another category then use appropriate widget and place it in one of the widget positions over main content.

Hello, I love this theme and i have used it before for another site. I am using for a new site and for some reason the “assignments” tab is not showing up, i can see it randomly show up sometimes when i refresh but then it disappears. Now there is a “branding” tab where the assignments tab use to be. any suggestions?

Probably we have here the case of “frozen widgets” that sometimes occurs at Gantry versions to 1.19 inclusive.
You can of course delete the wrong occurring widget and add it once more.
But definitely solve the problem only upgrade Gantry Framework to version 1.21.
We prepare just upgrade of our theme with last version of Gantry, but for now you will only upgrade the plugin.
1. Download latest version 1.21 of Gantry plugin from http://www.gantry-framework.org/download
2. Back up database (for security reason)
3. Deactivate Gantry plugin
4. Install new version. Script should automatically rewrite widget positions. Alternatively you can make small adjustments manually.
In case of any problems with this upgrade please feel free ask us any time.

If I remember you have some trouble with earliest version of our theme and Gantry plugin 1.14 or 1.15. Please upload latest version of our theme (is with gantry version 1.19. Work realy better and on productions server (witch cahe turn on) is not slow.
You can also upgrade to latest version og Gantry plugin 1.21

Great theme! I am running 1.21 of Gantry and I still dont have the ‘assignments’ tab in the Gantry panel. Any ideas?

Assignments tab is visible only in overrides. By default setting is hidden. If is not this case please write me email via our profile. I try to find cause.

I love all the customization capabilities of this theme, but does it: 1) allow videos on the slider? 2) Allow social media icons at the top of the page above the header or in the header?

Regardings your questions:
1. You can use video in content slide (use shortcode tombeding). But rememeber thet content slide are suported only by anything and promo slider.
2. Socialmedia icons can be used in the content of a widget that can be placed basically anywhere. Pleace write me email via our profile eventyally with link to your site. I send you more detailed explanaton how to do it.

I have to move my finished site with this theme to a new host and reinstall WP etc. Will all my Gantry settings and overrides transfer over or do I have recreate the whole thing once switched?

Hi!, I need to translate some fields on the theme, I have translated some other themes by modifying the .po and .mo files, using POedit or a plug-in called CodeStyling Localization (http://goo.gl/gXtMx this plug in is great because I can translate on the WP admin without uploading .po and .mo files).
The point here is that I can’t find some fields for example “Leave a Reply”, I can’t find where I translate this, it looks like is not in the .po file
Can you give me some advice on where to look at, or how I can change this to my language?

Sorry for delay.
In our theme you have two languages files.
One dp_theme.po in folder languages where are located all strings added by us (our theme specific).
Second is gantry.pot in root theme folder with strings used by Gantry framework. In this file you find for example “Leave a Replay” string.

Thank you, I found the srting, now how it is supposed to make it work?, I use POedit, make the translation and it generates 2 files, gantry.po and gantry.mo, when I upload to the same root folder, nothing happens, so I guess im doing something wrong, should I rename the files to es_ES.po and es_ES.mo (since im using this language as WP default language) and where should I put those files in the languages folder? but in that folder there’s already the dp_theme.po.. im a little bit confused can you help me?

I have had great customer service until this last issue posted Friday 11/11/11, you should have 2 emails in your inbox. Accordions, Tabs, Toggles are all not functioning. The only homepage slideshow that functions is the 3D, any reason for this? This is the 3rd site I have used the theme and this site is the only one which has had issues.

Trouble is most likely caused by a javascript conflict with one or more installed plugins. Probably they use jQuery without noConflict.
Please activate plugin one by one to determine which of them causes a conflict. Let us know about result
A couple things.
1. The breadcrumbs navigation doesn’t seem to be working correctly when viewing blogs – doesn’t give the hierarchy just the home button.
2. When viewing blogs it outputs 2 instances of the latest post. Following posts only show one instance.
I’ve looked through all my settings and it doesn’t seem like it’s anything that I’ve clicked inadvertently. On previous theme (and current twentyten) theme it all shows up correctly.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Kris We just purchased the Amoveo theme last week and this is our first time working with Gantry.
We are having some issues with replacing the logo – We saw the FAQ info and followed it. We uploaded the logo into the Amoveo settings and have enabled it however, it is still not appearing in the top position and we can not seem to find a widget to enable the logo.
When we installed the theme we found we had to start from scratch which we were not expecting to be the case. Is there any way we can enable the same settings as the demo site as this would be a good foundation for us to work from since we chose the theme based on it’s similarity to our concept for this client.

The best way and simplest way for replication our demo pageis usage of our theme launcher. Is included in package. This way you install WP3 .21 and our theme with all plugins in one installation process, Installation is very similar to default WP instalation.
Simple unzip themelauncher archive , upload all files on server, create database, point your browser on your already uploaded package and folow installer instruction

I am slowly learning Gantry and how it works… After much searching, I could not find the Promo Slider settings. I would like to change out the sample images with my own, and also make the slide transitions slower, so there is more time to read each slide.

First thanks for purchase of our theme
Generally Promo slider is cotent slides powered and image is simply included in slide content. Title, sliding text badge etc are part of slide content using specific CSS classes.

I’m having problems changing the type of main slider under:
AMOVEO SETTINGS > HOMEPAGE SLIDER
I have installed the Amoveo theme demo settings but no matter which type of slider I select, I cannot change it from the default with the mobile phones.
I did have a permissions problem with my CSS folder when changing settings in WP-ADMIN here so I had to temporarily change my CSS folder permissions from 755 to 777 for setting changes to take effect. I knew this as my browser gave me an error though. Could this be another file permissions problem?

Rockettheme is allready working on Gantry 1.22 plugin version compatibile with WP 3 .3. Should be published yesterday but is not ready yet. I’m waiting also.
Than I must test my theme with new WP version in every ascpect. So with stable version for WP 3 .3 I can be ready not earlier as at the begining next week:(.
If is possible please roll back upgrade for few days, because at this moment I can not give you effective help with this vulnerability.

Gantry plugin WP 1 .22 is alraeady published.
Of course I could not test it thoroughly, but I decided to share a few observations regarding its compatibility with the latest version of WP and our theme.
Overall, would recommend to refrain from upgrading to WP 3 .3 until the check operation of our theme and publish a stable package for WP 3 .3.
But if you have found yourself in this situation that made the upgrade, please perform the following steps.
1. Upload latest version Gantry WP 1 .22 from http://www.gantry-framework.org/download
2. Upgrade your version of Gantry plugin to WP 1 .22.
Generally, at first glance, our theme is working fine with Gantry WP 1 .22 and WP 3 .3. At most, is indicated for an overview of all overrides and minor widgets adjustments (I noticed that in some cases, you must re-add the Gantry dividers)
I hope the above comments have helped you a little bit to solve your problem.

Issue with not saved widget content after edition is fixed until Gantry WP 1 .20. So by newest version you don’t have any problems.

Please wait for upgrade of our theme. In already prepared 2.0 version we have add some shortcodes (price tables also) and built in WYSIWYG editor Shortcode generator.

I purchased your theme a few days ago. After playing with it for a bit I came back here to read through the comments. I discovered there was a new upgrade… so I downloaded the new theme and just uninstalled the old and re installed the new. Now every time I try to activate the new version of amovea I get the following message and I can’t go anywhere in the WP admin panel…
