Hi I seem to be having some problems with the Image slider and the Gantry framework on www.marinatheatre.co.uk

On the Image slider on the home page the titles only show for the first three slides, after that they appear quickly and then seem to ‘go to the back’ behind the image. Also, the ‘Read More’ links don’t work, wether I select text or article.

In the template manager all the options pages appear blank. I tried an update to the latest Gantry and the whole site went down with an error on /andromeda/index.php line 116.

Let me know if you need access or want any screen grabs?

Regards

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

Right now I can’t see the source of the slider problem. If you could send us an email with details for admin access that’d be great.

We’re aware of the problem with the Gantry framework. They made quite some changes in the 4.x version but allowed update from 3.x. Please stay on 3.x until we upload an update. Unless you’re planing to use the new features like Less stylesheets it doesn’t make a difference.

Hi How do I make the gaps that cross across the page horizontal? I found the code in the correct .php file (moz-transform: skewy(1deg) and when I change it to (0deg) and upload it changes OK.

If I then close the browser or view on another computer the angle is back again. How do I make it permanent?

.triangle-t:before, .triangle-b:after { moz-transform: skewy(0deg); box-shadow: 0 2px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.02) inset; content: ""; display: block; height: 20px; left: 0; position: absolute; top: -10px; width: 960px;

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for your purchase. If you changed the angle to 0 it should be fine. Maybe you have the cache options enabled and that’s why you couldn’t see the changes directly after making them.

If you don’t want the slopes at all, you can also remove the triangle classes. They are all found in templates/andromeda/index.php.

Hi

I have changed the file called css-fa021e40a41460cca52206e3d68ed412.php

Each time I re-open a browser, or even look at the site from a different computer the angles have come back again? Is this the correct file to change?

Thanks

Hi,

Okay here lies the problem. This file is automatically generated and compressed, which is useful for a live website. You need to edit template.css (in the same folder). A new compressed stylesheet will be created afterwards. If it doesn’t happen immediately you can clear the template cache to force it.
