Also i need to set up the rating system like you have in the samples . i am unable to do so . could you help out . thanks .

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

1. You should select “Fixed Layout” in Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options > Advanced Settings.

2. We can tell you the options that we set for our rating system – you’ll just need to tell us which one of our previews you are referring to – news, magazine, blog, business or shop?

hi, i have a few question:

1. why at 1024×768 monitor resolution main menu is disappear? how to display it again? 2. how to equalize the size of the thumbnails on the homepage?

sory for my bad english, thanks br0

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

1. On lower resolutions, default menu is hidden and responsive one shows up in the top left corner of the page. When you click on it, you will see a list of menu entries. If you don’t want that functionality, we can provide custom CSS code for you which will hide the responsive and show the default menu.

2. Can you share a link to your page so we could see what are you referring to?

yes.. can you make a custom CSS code for me?

I want thumbnails in the “olahraga” category have the same size with “unik & lucu” category.. how to do it?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

This is the fastest solution that we can propose:

.news-layout .menu_wrapper.relative.solid {
display: block;
}

.yes-responsive .menu-trigger a {
display:none;
}

Responsive menu functionality is completely overridden with that piece of code. If that suits you, you should insert it in Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options > Advanced Settings > Custom CSS field.

Thumbnails are dependent on images size. Because your “olahraga” category image has width smaller that 387px and a different aspect ratio than the other image, it doesn’t fit in the element. The solution is to use wider images. However, we can provide CSS fix for you which will make the image have the fixed height and width but depending on the image, it may look stretched.

Question—does the template have the capability to insert a “Breaking News” ticker at the top? I’m thinking of purchasing this theme. Thanks!

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

You can create a ‘Breaking News’ category and then use one of Anivia Theme insert posts shortcodes to display this category in an area you want. The one lined ticker currently is not included, but you have plenty of insert post designs you can check. Just see if anyone fits your needs. Also we’re preparing a big Anivia update in about 2 weeks. The theme will be significantly improved. We could include the one-lined ticker for posts.

Hey Br0, great theme.

One quick question, in the Magazine style demo on your website, on the second row there are two ~40% width boxes (Your Best Friend is the Companion and Hit those famous HK night clubs!) – how do I replicate this in frontend builder?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

For that row, we used two “Insert posts” elements with “Magazine – Full Featured” type, with one row and without pagination. You should be able to achieve the look that you want by adding the same elements with Frontend builder. If you have any additional question, feel free to contact us.

Hi Br0,

Thank you – is there a way to specify a specific post for this? I’d like to use it to feature 2 different posts manually, like what you’ve done in the demo.

However I’d like the post to be selected manually, so that it doesn’t change when new posts are added to the category. Is this possible?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

No, unfortunately, there isn’t a way to choose specific posts, but we’ll consider adding that feature in the following versions of the theme.

Br0

Great Theme! I can’t seem to get the excerpt to work with it, so when my posts show up on facebook, the text comes out like :

You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <?a href=”” title=””> <?abbr title=””> <?acronym title=””> <?b> <?blockquote cite=””> <?cite> <?code> <?del datetime=””> <?em> <?i> <?q cite=””> <?strike> <?strong>...

Site: enjoiweekends.com

The post was created using front end builder. Here’s a screen shot of what it looks like when I try to post to fb – http://tinyurl.com/kn295ju

The text that’s coming up on fb reads like this:

You may use these HTML tags and attributes: <?a href=”” title=””> <?abbr title=””> <?acronym title=””> <?b> <?blockquote cite=””> <?cite> <?code> <?del datetime=””> <?em> <?i> <?q cite=””> <?strike> <?strong>

Thx!

I should also mention that sometimes the post will work on fb, pulling the text properly. It seems random currently.

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

It seems that you should add some code in functions.php file (or use a plugin) to fix that issue: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-facebook-open-graph-meta-data-in-wordpress-themes/

We’ll look into adding that fix in the upcoming updates of the theme.

Why the right sidebar created through Front End Builder (by selecting the option at left top corner) is positioned at top in responsive mode? Any solution to fix that?

It should position the content at left at top and then the right sidebar.

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

Thanks for reporting that issue, we’ll look into a solution for it in the following versions of the plugin. Right now, if you use theme’s right sidebar, it should be positioned properly in responsive mode.

Br0

Br0 also can you please add the ability of offset in the modules. It can help to great extent while reducing redundancy from the content. We actually have added that ourselves but pagination stopped working and we had to write some additional code to handle that. I would like to minimize all the custom hacks in order to remain upgrade-able so asking if you could implement that from within your own code.

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

We’ll consider that feature for the following updates of Frontend builder, it can be helpful in building content more efficiently.

I purchased this theme and my logo is not red. I need to use the news template. Can we change the red colors on there?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

Yes, absolutely – you can change the color options in Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options > Style Settings.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Kind regards,
Br0

Hello.

Could you declare all functions in function.php conditionally in the next update, so as to make me able to redeclare them in my child theme ? How can I change shortcodes.php in my child theme in order not to be affected by a later update ?

Thank you very much !!!

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

We are already working on both of those issues. Stay tuned for the following updates, hopefully, those features should be added.

Hi there,

I really like this theme. Wondering if the persistent menu in it can be modified so that it looks more like the persistent menu in the All Around theme?

I’m not a big fan of the menu options being reduced to a drop-down button in the corner, and it would also be nice if the site logo is shown along with the menu options when the persistent menu is active.

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

There isn’t an option in the theme to use different sticky menu, but Anivia supports child themes, so you can implement that functionality. In the current version of sticky menu, logo of the site is visible – it shouldn’t be a problem to insert it in another version that you want.

Kind regards,
Br0

Default-user

Thanks Br0. So does this mean I have to buy both the Anivia and the All Around themes and mash them up?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

No, you don’t have to – if you’re familiar with coding, you can replace Anivia’s responsive menu with the custom version that you or some other developer coded. That’s the best solution. However, another option is to buy both themes and combine them into the one that you want – you have the right to do so.

Kind regards,
Br0

hey bro i want people to subscribe to my website and have their own account, i am lost how do i do it, i want to make my website like a social so that the users could post articles on their own is there any way thank u www.uk2nepal.com

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

If you want more than default WP user roles, you should take a look at BuddyPress. However, it’s not tested with Anivia, so we can’t guarantee that it will behave properly (in terms of CSS conflicts). However, we’ll consider adding BuddyPress support in the future versions of the theme.

Kind regards,
Br0

hey thanks alot but i think its not supported please add the buddy press feature thanks

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

We’ll definitely look into it in the following versions of the theme.

I currently have a website and uploaded your theme; however, I can only work on it if I switch to anivia theme and I can’t do that during the day, because I have visitors during the day. Do you have any suggestions of what I can do to work on it in parallel?

Another question, are the pictures resizable on the home page?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

1. You should be able to create page and post content (use drafts so that they aren’t visible on the site) on your old theme using Frontend builder, and when you switch to Anivia, you can apply additional smaller changes. For modifying theme related options, you’ll have to switch to Anivia. Another option is to use development or local site, where you will develop your website using Anivia, and when you’re satisfied with it, transfer it to your production server.

2. If you’re creating static page as your homepage, image sizes are set depending on the column in which you drop them using Frontend builder. If your homepage is dynamic, it can be altered using custom CSS.

Hope that answers your questions, feel free to contact us if you need more help.

Kind regards,
Br0

Thanks. I just tried it using a draft without switching to the theme section; however, I couldn’t find categories. Any thaughts for why it is not showing?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

Do you mean “Categories” element in Frontend builder? Some of the elements (with Anivia in the picture) including “Categories” are not available in Frontend builder until you switch to Anivia.

Hi br0, it’s possible to add post badges feature on next update?

and when I test this theme in gtmetrix, Page Speed ??shows F grade.. can you make it more seo friendly?

Thanks

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

1. We can’t promise you it will be definitely added, but it’s on the suggestions list for the developers team.

2. We’re always working on making our products better, so expect more optimization and performance tweaks in the future versions of the theme. However, page speed grade doesn’t depend only on the theme, but also on site content. If you test our preview page – http://www.shindiristudio.com/anivia/ you can see that the grade is a lot better than F.

Hello !!!

How can I change the appearance of the top menu ? Which are the css attributes I may alter ? I see that if I choose a link as a menu item in news layout, then it inherits the theme color as background and it is written with white color, whereas if I choose a page as a menu item in news layout it inherits page background and it is written with black. Why is that ?

Thank you very much !!!

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

If we understood you correctly – you want to manually control menu items color. In that case, check this link – http://support.shindiristudio.com/?tickets=change-the-hover-color-for-links and feel free to contact us for any additional questions.

Hello Bro,

I want to change the image settings for “Magazine Fluid post”. I want the settings same as “Magazine – Full Featured” image.. Can you please give me the CSS code for it ??

Thank you in advance…

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

If we understood you correctly – you want “Magazine Fluid post” element to have full width images? To achieve that, you’ll also need to edit PHP code. Let us know if you decide for that step. We’ll guide you on what to change.

thanks Br0. are the category colours only showing in the category? As the posts on ho,page are still showing in the overall theme colour but not in category colour? Do i need to set something so the category colours for each post is showing on the homepage in the right colour?

thanks

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

If you’re using “latest posts” archive page as homepage, category colors are shown only on magazine version. If you’re creating static page, use Magazine Fluid posts or Categories element.

How do you do the news from categories such as this one: http://www.shindiristudio.com/demo/?item=Anivia_Wordpress? Is there a detailed guide we can I use for this template?

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

We can’t really see what page you’re referring to, because you shared a page in iframe, but documentation is available in anivia_documents folder (located in download archive) and there are tutorial videos on creating pages using Frontend builder, available on our youtube profile page: http://www.youtube.com/user/ShindiriStudio

hey bro hi, i have a question is there any way i could have subscribers and users but i dont want them accessing the dash board is there any plugin or function in the anivia theme please let me know, is there any chat plugin you recommend or is there any way to build one any lastly my front end builder stop working when i try to edit my posts www.uk2nepal.com plz help me thank u

ShindiriStudio

Hi,

This plugin – http://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-dashboard-access-for-non-admins/ – should solve your problem with dashboard access. We haven’t used any chat plugin, so we can’t really recommend one. You should search Wordpress Plugin directory and CodeCanyon for plugins like that.

When Frontend builder doesn’t work on a page/post, it usually means that there is some broken HTML code in it. Can you send us your WP login info via e-mail to support@shindiristudio.com so we could inspect the error? Also, give us a link to the page with which you’re having problems.
