On the home page, because I have no posts (and don’t want any) it says “No results found” under the slider. Can I get rid of that? Thanks!

Nice theme- can I use my own images for the background behind the slider? And how about for the main background?
Also- easy to integrate google fonts, if not done already?
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme
The easiest way to use a custom background image is to replace one of the existing backgrounds that you are not going to use with yours. Regarding the other question – what do you mean by saying “main” background? Is this the rest of the area which is by default solid white?
Regarding google fonts – the theme by default doesn’t support google fonts but implementing this wouldn’t be hard. First you would have to paste the link line google provides in the header.php file of the theme and then you have to assign the new font for the headings – this can be done in the admin panel within the additional styles section (we can provide instructions about it on our support system).
Thanks for the reply…
Sorry I wasnt very clear- I would like to add my own image as background for the body and/or header area- most likely a tile image or possibly a relatively large scanned illustration that will sit to the left of the content (a large lotus flower running up the left side of the screen) . I would also like to select a colour back ground that the image fades into.
I dont mind delving into code but will need guidance – fairly straightforward?
Also how big can the logo be?
It is easy to add a background image to that section – we can instruct you about this on our support site. Regarding the background color – if you mean that you would like to change the background color of the section that is white by default – there is an option included in the theme options to change this color.
Hi. I too would like to add a tiled image to the background of the header. Can you direct me to where I can find the answer on your support site? Thanks!
Hi! I just purchased this theme, and haven’t activated it yet…so I apologize if this is in the options…can I ‘hide’ pages from showing up in my menu bar? In my current theme, there is a section where I’m allowed to ‘Exclude the following ID’s’ and I enter the corresponding page#’s and it keeps them off of my menu bar…........
I just wanted to say that I had a super hard time deciding between this, The Cotton, and The Paper Core. They are all lovely and had features that appeal to me
This theme uses the WordPress custom menus system where you can build a custom menu with the page links you like very easily – you can read about how to set it in the “Menu” section of the documentation included.

I bought this theme last week just to find out that the .zip file delivered with it is 4MB large!!! I can’t find a way to upload it to my self hosted blog, since WP says it’s too large. All other themes I bought in the past were never beyond 400KB.
Very disappointing. I want a refund! How do I go about this?!
The theme is larger because of the pattern images that are included with it. If you cannot upload it from the admin panel you can upload it trough FTP (instructions can be found in the “Activating the theme” section of the documentation) or you may consider deleting the pattern images that you are not going to use from the images/patterns folder – this will make the theme zip file smaller.

Thank you very much for a wonderful theme. I am completely new to wordpress and my head is exploding trying to work everything else but I am getting there…very slowly. I have a couple of questions though if you have time:
1. For the life of me though I can’t seem to change the logo. When I upload my logo nothing appears. I have tried resizing the logo, it is in jpeg form, it says it has uploaded but nothing shows. I have tried uploading a picture and all I get is a fuzzy mess.
3. You have 4 mini pictures in the 4th column of the footer that link to your gallery page, how can I put 4 images like that in with a link? I tried dropping the link widget into the footer but it just has 4 check boxes:
Show Link Image
Show Link Name
Show Link Description
Show Link Rating
and I don’t understand what I have to do
Thank you so much for any help you can give me
I can see that you have opened a ticket on our support site – your question will be replied within the regular support time
Sorry I’ve just noticed you have a dedicated support team, I shall copy and paste my query to them
does this theme support separate galleries with several images per gallery? i’m a wedding photographer, so I’d want one gallery per wedding, with maybe 50-100 images in each gallery.
how would this be done on this theme?
Yes, the theme supports different galleries with different images
I purchased the word press version of this template and I can not understand how to use it. I would like to get the html version instead. Could I possibly get reimbursed and get the other version?
You can find the full instructions about how to set the theme in the documentation included. However, if you still prefer using the HTML version, I don’t think there will be a way to replace it, as this is a completely different item and is sold separately, but if you want you can still try to contact the ThemeForest support and ask about this.
This theme is so lovely. Hope you’ll consider making it responsive.
Thank you Yes, we will consider implementing such a functionality.
Hi, I’m very interested in this theme, but before I move forward with it I was wondering if you can have multiple pages with sliders?
This site would be for a client who remodels homes and would like to show off each house with a slider page for each picture gallery. Is this something your theme can offer?
Thank you for the interest
Anthology doesn’t support multiple instances of sliders, but if you want you can check all of our themes that are released after Anthology (Dandelion, Highlight, The Cotton, Acoustic and Photolux) – all of them support unlimited sliders and you should be able to accomplish what you need with any of them.
I am considering this theme for my website and would like to know how much room there is in the header space for a logo or banner.
There aren’t any limitations about the size of the logo, so you can insert wharever size of logo you like.
I will buy this theme, but before, i need to be sure that we can change size font of the main menu ?
By default there isn’t an option to change the font size for the main menu, but it can be easily modified with one additional rule of CSS that you can insert in the Additional Styles section – we can provide the instructions on our support site.
How to implement the output posts on the main page in two columns?

Any plans to make older themes like Anthology into responsive themes soon?
I can’t really say for sure, currently we have a few other important updates that we have to release first and after that we have some plans to give a try to release responsive layout updates to some of our themes, but I can’t say anything for sure as it really depends on whether the existing theme layout will fit a responsive design.
Im strongly considering purchasing, but I have a question first. When I visit the blog part of the theme and see the list of the many shortened blog posts it is in the “right sidebar layout” content of blog with the widgets on the right. which i like. When I view a single whole blog post it is also two columns. Can I change the single view to “full width layout” while keeping the bulk view in 2 column right sidebar layout??
Im a photographer and would like to have large wide image heavy posts but I like the dynamic of the 2 column and widgets when trying to navigate among those shortened posts. I just want the wide for the actual opened post.
Thank you for your time. This is a beautiful theme! I hope it can do what I want it to do!
By default the single posts use the layout that is set to the blog, but it is easy to change it to a full-width layout with one line code modification – we can provide the instructions on our support site.
I really like this theme but I had a couple of questions before purchasing.
1. I was wondering in the portfolio can you have separate folders. i.e. Newborn, Baby, Family??
2. The pictures all look panoramic, if I upload a vertical picture will it be within the ‘coloured/designed’ strip?
I’m glad you like the theme Here are my answers:
1. If you mean to have different portfolio galleries with different image sets – yes, you can.
2. If you are referring to the lightbox preview – regardless the image layout, the image will be always displayed in its full size in the lightbox without cropping any parts of it.
I don’t know if anyone is interested but I applied these instructions to anthology and I am now rockin a google page speed score of 95/100!!!!!!
Thank you very much for sharing this, I hope that this will be helpful for the other users as well
I should add I only used plugins WP-Super-Cache and WP-Minify and changed the .htaccess file.
