How do you create more sidebar options? Currently I can only seem to add widgets to “Page Sidebar” “Contact Sidebar” “Blog Sidebar” “Footer Sidebar” and “Services”.
In the instructions you say “You can also add your sidebar using Aphrodite admin > Sidebar” But I am not able to find “Aphrodite Admin”. Would you mind directing me to that option?
Open Aphrodite Admin > Sidebar
“You can also add your sidebar using Aphrodite admin > Sidebar” But I am not able to find “Aphrodite Admin””
Would you mind directing me to where Aphrodite Admin is?
First please make sure you activated the theme. Then there is a Aphrodite button at the bottom left corner of your Wordpress Dashboard.
The theme has been activated but the Aphrodite button is no where to be found.
Could you send your Wordpress account and FTP detail please. I will have a look.
Is there a way to modify the Service area background color?
It couldn’t be done using theme admin. However you can edit theme CSS file to change that
Did you know about Firebug a Firefox plugin?
The main CSS file is /css/screen.css
Could you please tell us how to make your theme compatible with Gravity Forms. Like another user mentioned in this thread, it is a major Wordpress plugin, so do not understand why you would not attempt to fix the conflict.
Do you know if it’s just the CSS that conflicts or something else?
Please help! As we will have to purchase another theme if it can’t be fixed, as the feature we need is not available with any other form plugin. That will be very inconvenient for us as we will basically have to redesign the whole site again!
Thanks and regards.
Is there a way to link the title of services to a page?
Currently It doesn’t support that. I will consider to add it into the future if there are many requests from customers.
“NetworkError: 400 Bad Request – http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?ver=4.1"
Hello, when i make changes to the footer widget, the items are full screen and do not look like the example in the “preview”. Can you help me figure out what i’m doing wrong? Thanks!
You can change footer widgets columns in Theme Setting > Footer > Footer Sidebar Styles
How do I make the theme look like the example site? Is there any documentation to set this up, and sample data to import?
Thank you for purchasing.
Theme documentation’s located in your downloaded file from Themeforest
Please follow the theme’s instructions in /manual folder it will help you get through all theme features.
where can i find ”/css/screen.css”? It is not showing up in my choices on Appearance/Edit. the only 2 CSS pages there are style.css (which calls for screen.css) and visual-style.css
You have to edit it directly in /wp-content/themes/aphrodite/css/screen.css
is there any way to change the text size and placement for the slider? remove the boxes around the text?
Did you know about Firebug a Firefox plugin? http://getfirebug.com/ and here video tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdIk2PztcL0
Or you can use Chrome Developer tool instead. Here are video tutorials https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/videos
It will help you inspect all CSS and HTML elements, really help if you do a lot customization
yes, i do know about these. but tracking down the file to edit is the problem.
I am trying to find the flex slider.css file, where is it stored?
It’s located in theme’s /js/flexslider folder.
Social Media link for youtube does not seem to work, not matter how i put in the url/username.
The Youtube url for the site is “https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIPTWlF51LuHI-KdrteOlUg” and come sup fine. but no matter what i put in the account settings, all i get in return is “Channel does not exist”.
i see part of the issue is that it pre-populates the url string with “user”, but any account created after google plus is a “channel”
i fixed it myself, this will be very handy for anybody trying to use a new youtube account that no longer uses USERS, and instead CHANNELS. You have to edit line 392 in HEADER.PHP. Change href=”http://youtube.com/user/<?php to href=”http://youtube.com/channel/<?php
I have a question, the footer is not laying itself out correctly on mobile devices, instead of a responsive look it just squeezes all 3 in next to each other (as opposed to stacking them). i chose the 3 column layout and only have 3 text widgets in them. can you take a look? http://www.techbrandinc.com
