Twitter widgets and social counter not work even on the last version for me. Tested on chrome and safari.
There is no change on that part in the latest version. Did you setup Theme Setting > Social Profiles?
Yes I set it and I set the title and the twitter username in the widget, it doesn’t work !

Did you edit theme code?
If not, please re install FRESH Wordpress and theme. I think some files are missing and cause the issue.

Sorry It doesn’t support that. I will consider to add it into the future if there are many requests from customers. Generally speaking, if it’s not in the demo then it’s not in the theme.

Hi. Just bought this theme, and I’m not happy that when posting YouTube videos, the homepage strips all formatting of text and does not show the Youtube video. You can see the Youtube video when you click to view the post, but I’d like it to show on the home page. I have it set to Front Page Display “Your latest posts”
Also, how do you get rid of the “Read More” box on the home page? I really don’t want this.

It clearly does not show up with the review stars in a google search, not what I was expecting this is a great theme and if this was working I would snap buy it.

Hi. The slider is broken in internet explorer 7 / 8. Indeed, the text not appeared in the slider. Can you resolve the bug please ?
It does’t support IE7 as state on item detail page.
For IE8, Please check. There might be javascript conflict between theme’s script and plugin’s script. Try to disable all plugins
Great theme and working on my purchase now. Just a couple of questions.
You have an advertisement widget on the homepage but cannot see this in the widgets section.
You also have a photos in the news in the footer. Is there a widget for this and if so what’s it called as I cannot see this too.

Thanks for this great theme! Installed it on a fresh wordpress installation and it works fine out of the box.
I’m having some issues with translation though, for example the strings “to search type and hit enter”, “No Comment, 1 Comment, %s Comments” and “(Reply)” do not translate.
I’m using the CodeStyling Localization Plugin. It tells me the following: Textdomain Naming Issue: Author uses a variable to define the textdomain constant. It will be assumed to be equal to theme name now.
Please help me fix this!

You can edit po file in /languages folder of theme to translate.
Please follow the theme’s instructions in /manual/index.html it will help you get through all theme features.
Hi, I did that already. But many strings (like for instance: “to search type and hit enter”) are missing in the original en_US.po file, and can therefore not be translated this way.
Maybe there is another way? I suppose these particular strings do not have the correct __() or _e() PHP functions attached. If you can point me out where to look for these frases I might translate the core files…

Okay, I managed to get the translation straight for No comment at the bottom (below Author Information) myself.
I replaced
<?php comments_number('No comment', '1 Comment', '% Comments'); ?>in apollo/comments.php, with
<?php comments_number( _n('No comment', '1 Comment', '% Comments') ); ?>But I still need help with the following strings:
I found “to search type and hit enter” in
apollo/js/custom.js (line 260)
“(Reply)” is pulled from:
apollo/lib/custom lib.php (line 267)
I guess the comment count (beneath the post title) and time stamp (after comment author name) are pulled from the same file.
I could make the translations in the files, but then they will be lost after future updates…
Please tell me how to assign the translation functions to these strings in order to translate them properly

You can use custom category widget instead.
When I use featured image in a post and is put on home page the image is displayed with full size of file. What can I do so it is displayed thumbnail size? Below is an image of what it looks like

I purchased the theme last week and so far i am very happy about it. But there are two things bothering me:
1: I would like to use the reviews that are featured in the demo. Getting them to work is easy, integrating them into the navigation menu as well. But I would like to have the most recent reviews on my homepage as well (as one of these boxes with one large and four smaller items) – but in the Theme Settings (Homepage) I can just access the categories of the regular posts, not of the reviews. Any idea how to work around that?
2: In the Theme Settings (Blog) I have to make a deciscon for the whole site, in which layout posts will be shown. I have two categories that I would love to have in 2-column layout whereas the rest is perfect in 1-column layout. There must be a way to do that, I hope.

Default Wordpress works fine but it doesn’t support lightbox. I would recommend theme gallery.

I am interesting on Apollo’s theme to use it in One colum layout. However, I have a question: even if I choose the “one column layout” on the home page, is it possible to classified each article by category? I would like only one colum on the home page (I don’t want to classified by category on the home page like your example: Business, Travel…) but I really want to classified and find each post in the differents category of my main menu. Is it possible with Apollo Theme?
Sure, you can create category page and add it to main menu.
