Under “What we do” on the home page – I would like three sections instead of four. How can I change that? I would like them to be spaced equally please. Thaks!

Hey there,

You’ll need to modify the CSS for #home-blocks li {} and change the width for 3 columns. You’ll also need to edit the responsive.css for the different screen sizes.

Hi,

Excellent theme of course.. very pleased with it, however, I am experiencing some issues..

My Portfolio items are not showing.. when i click on them to view the project I keep getting ‘ Oops! That page can’t be found.

It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?’

any suggestions? I created a page called ‘advice and guidance’ and names that as our portfolio page, could it be that? it still has th eportfolio template activated so I dont think it shuld be a problem?

Hey there,

Sounds like it could be a namespace problem. Are you using the /portfolio/ slug for any other pages etc?

I have changed the permalinks on WP, to ‘Post Name’ not sure if this may effect it?

Hi Chris,

Not sure if you’ve received my email, but here goes:

I want to chaneg the layout of the portfolio pages. It looks good when I have a small amount of text, but i also want to use the portfolio to showcase some articles and opinion pieces. As you can imagine, after a few works it looks bad stretching the page disproportionately as the text column is too thin.

How can I make the image full width and the text appear underneath instead? Ultimately, I’d like the same layout as with the normal pages as I could then use the shortcodes to make some columns and break the text up a bit?

I’m having a problem with the portfolio section. I’m using it for client stories, and there are four stories. For each client I have a small picture, to be used on the home page and the portfolio page (called NAME _portrait) and the large photo (called we’re here for NAME ), which should be on the detail page, and also the front page slider.

The detail page displays the “portrait” version and not the large version

This one – http://hccdallas.kimmarla.com/portfolio/perry-lees-story/ Has all four small portraits, instead of the one large photo (We’re here for Perry)

We’ve tried removing the wrong photos several times, but it appears like the remove button doesn’t work.

Hey there,

You only need to upload the large version and set it as a featured image and the smaller images will be automatically generated by WordPress.

Just bought the theme. Love the layout and design. Easy to customize. Nice work. Wondering if it would be toggle on and off an option to hide “latest portfolio” and “latest blog” entries from the home page. Also when scaling to iPad and iPhone the alignment isn’t quite right it often needs to be pinched and zoomed to fit. Is this a fix that is in the works?

Hi Chris, how much can I change the colour scheme on this theme? Foe example could I make the top bar grey ( not blue ) and the section below the slider as a dark grey? Are there options on the slider – i.e., having vertical ‘bars’ that slide to reveal? Can the font be changed?

Hey Jim,

It’s possible to change the color scheme by using the color picker in the theme options. If you want more granular control over the colors, you’ll need to edit the CSS .

There are currently no other slider effects other than fade and slide.

I understand placing a search bar on the homepage is a question of calling get search form – is there a shortcode for this in the theme?

Hey there,

If you’re handy with code it wouldn’t be too difficult to replace out the slider with a custom solution.

There’s no shortcode for the search form, there’s most likely a plugin out there that would cover this for you.

I woruld like to use this theme, but before I download another theme that just isn’t what I’m looking for I would like to ask what you ended up answering funexfootball about the portfolio.

i’m working as a freelancer and also need to use the portfolio for showcase, meaning that I need to tell about the event and my work related to it. This often means I would like to have some links, articles etc. on this page and not only the thin colomb.

Could you please tell me what you ended up writing to funex…
