Is it possible to get social icons on the home page??? That seems to be the only thing missing from this theme for me specifically. Oh, and is it possible to change the color of the text boxes underneath the slider images?

1. The are where the accordion slider is located is widget ready. So you can ad a social widget inside.
2. Yes When you see the video about the visual panel http://youtu.be/51sFnXQwgmI You will notice you can change the borders, background, active background and text color of the slider navigation.

Thanks for that, but would you mind adding some of the social icons to the homepage of the demo site so I (and others) can see what it looks like before I purchase this? It would be most helpful.

I have a little problem with events page in calender view. Every event shows the same description, even though they are all unique…. The description of today’s event is shown with all events.

Glad to see more designers adding event posts! Couple of questions regarding events:
1. are event posts categorized? – can I have event categories and sub-categories i.e, North East – NJ,NY,CT
2. in the event details section, is there field for custom, html friendly data?
3. how hard would it be to replace the “join it” button on a per event basis? (I sometimes need to use a button required by an affiliate partner, but not always)

1. Event posts are categorized but calendar will not show up based upon those category. We don’t know if this is possible so we have to look in to this and when it is possible we will update the events manager.
2. Yes, the meta filed support html tags
3. Not hard, the join it is a label of a meta field

4. if you events can be categorized, say for event in New Jersey and another category for New York, is it possible to display only events for the category selected in the calendar and then see only events in the other category on the calendar when navigating to that category?

I have another question, this time about the Events, I’m able to create the event but not to show the calendar with the View of all events.
In the documentation I found this:

The More I go ahead building my site, the more I realize I am Your Beta Tester! There is another problem:
Buttons… I follow these steps to build buttons: http://themeforest.net/item/appius-premium-wordpress-portfolio-theme/full_screen_preview/1358083I’m able to build the button, but the color is not the one that I saw in the template preview, copying and pasting the shortcode.
It would not be a big trouble if I could change the color manually directly on the shortcode. I’ve done it, the color does not change. And when I try again to re-paste the shortcode copyed on the theme preview, the color is another one again…
Please, Try with the blue color, sometimes is GREEN and sometimes is PURPLE …

I’m interested in this template, but I seem to see a problem with the menu system on both Safari and Firefox on my Mac. Using the demo site when i hover over a menu item to get the drop down, unless I move the mouse very fast to the list, they disappear. Not sure why that’s happening since there isn’t a gap or anything between the main nav and the drop down. I can recreate this at will in both browsers (latest versions of each).
Anyway, thought I’d let you know in case you were not aware of a possible issue there.

Question…The event manager is really great. I use the Shotzz one for a client and they love it…except for the date issue. I need for the date to be displayed (in the single event page) as month/day/year. I know you said in the past that this wasn’t possible…but I was hoping it would be for future templates that you do. Any chance this might be the case? Can I pay you to customize it for me? My client isn’t happy because people here in the US get confused. thanks so much. C

Hi, I’m a systems architect and I’m planning a content website for my customer. We like your design very much so we want to buy a theme from you. But first we have ask some presales questions:
1) Is the theme fully compatible to WPML ? Menus? Categories? I saw there are PO/MO files available. 2) Is it possible to manage 10000 pcitures and approx. 5000 videoclips with your theme? If not, can your plug-in ‘Premium Gallery Manager ’ handle that? 3) Is it possible to use child themes? For aAdditional templates, modifcations etc. 4) Is is possible to have the content outsite of the WP installation directory (e.g. mydomain.com/content/video/… mydomain.com/content/pictures/…)? 5) Do you have experience with your themes using the YourMembers.com plug-in for member management? 6) I saw you added prettyphoto to the theme. Is it possible to use pretyphoto lightbox with clickable thumbsnail pictures (customer likes that look)? 7) Is is possible to have e.g. 10 preview images in a row of a gallery without spaces? Or is it limited to 4 like we saw at the demo?
Is is possible to have to main menu bars (e.g. top menu: contact, login etc. main menu: Home, News, Pictures etc.)?
Which theme would you recommend for such a content site?

Hi Harry,
1. We didn’t tested it with wpml but i think since we made it localization ready i should be compatible.
2. The handling of the videos and images isn’t really a matter of “if possible” Both our plugin and theme should handle them fine. The plugin is a little bit more advanced but can’t take on videos. The theme uses custom post types and when you create a portfolio items you can ad as many images inside as you want.
3. We didn’t check it for child theme compatibility
4. Don’t know this either.
5. Nope, no experience either but again this is more a backend plugin then a fronted and therefore should not break anything.
6. clickable thumbs inside pretty photo is not possible. Therefore you can use the galleria page template. We have more then enough image viewing options. The lightbox is purely for viewing in larger format. We can add the browse arrows afterwards if you please but no thumbnails.

7) Customer wants to have a page with approx. 100 preview images which looks like video wall. e.g. 10 rows with 10 images. Is it possible to create such pages with the admin panel or do we need custom programming for that.
We saw there is a plug-in available (NETGen Gallery) which can handle large galleries and has a structure for ‘album’, ‘gallery list’ and ‘slideshow’. That’s what we need and what we want to make based on one of your thems.
If this is not possible out-of-the-box with your admin tool, can the NEXTGen plug-in used with the theme? Our intention is to minimize the required plug-ins, hence i have to check that details.

Hi, You can disable the timthumb setting and select wp core resizing or none. So you have an actual size for your portfolio images.

I want my money and 5 hours of my life back !! This theme has me cursing right and left. Its logic reminds of the dark days of Joomla nightmares, seriously! Just a few examples:
- why do i have to create entire separate slideshows with no option to select “featured” from the posts themselves. Double the work! - Any old reset button on the options, say the fonts, resets ALL , i repeat ALL you work thus far without so much as a warning or an info note that it will do that. - The CSS of the calendar and a few other elements is shifted, so you have to go in and adjust it in the CSS files - The home page has so many “areas” that are controled from various locations, that by the time you’re done with one things, you have no idea where another one coming from. This is the most Joomla like annoyance…
Anyways…. i’m not one to rant usually, but I have not been this pissed and have not wasted this much time with a purchased product in years!
