How can this be fixed?
In your Theme Options panel(Appearance -> Theme Options), you still have a tab named “Social Media Links” under “Blog Options” tab ? If yes, then it means you are using an older version of the theme, which is most likely.
Also, I’ve looked at your source code, and in style.css, the version is 1.1 so it indeed seems you are not using the latest version, 1.1.4.
Please make sure you are using the latest version of the theme. To make the update, you will have to redownload the theme from your themeforest downloads section and overwrite the theme files from your server with the new ones(make sure you keep track of the changes you’ve made to the theme – if you performed any).

We’re just starting to integrate your theme. When trying to upload a logo it uploads but it doesn’t display correctly. It is a timthumb issue. Make sure you’ve given the right permissions to the cache folder to 777 as instructed in the documentation.

One additional follow up – when we installed your theme I was expecting it to look just like your preview, http://goldenworks.ro/demos/aq_wordpress/.
Unfortunately, it appears all the pictures, menus and content is not there. I was hoping it would look like the preview on install and we can configure/tune it from there.

The preview package is included in the theme’s files you’ve downloaded as an xml file. After you unzip the archive, you will see a file named aquitaine.wordpress.2011-06-17.xml. Go to Tools -> Import, select wordpress and upload the xml.
The only thing that won’t show up are the images – that’s because you will be hotlinking them from my server and since the theme uses timthumb, they won’t display(timthumb requires that your images are on the same server).
Just getting started on the theme. When I try to modify theme options nothing happens. For instance upload a logo can not be done had to go into the file images and change the image from that folder by renaming my logo logo.png?
What have I missed?

Wonder if you can help, just brought / installed your theme (www.theflyerexpert.com) for some reason the slider doesn’t work, I have 3 slides in the homepage slider section, but the arrows don’t appear and the slider doesn’t start.
I have selected auto start in the settings page.

I would need wordpress backend access so I can see what is wrong with the theme(please drop me an email via contact form from my profile page with user / pass to your site). I’ve looked at your site and it does seem the slider is missing some html code, but I don’t know what causes this. Also, it might be a conflict with a plugin.
Hi starshade, we uploaded the xml file and set the cache folder to 777, uploaded pics look fine. I just found the install instructions
. However, it seems no images, sliders, etc (everything from your themes /images folder). are showing up though – http://www.mira720.com/. I will read your instructions further but just wanted to check with you first to see if we’re doing something terribly wrong or perhaps we missed something on install.
Note, I did see something on the permalink section of wordpress:
“If your .htaccess file were writable, we could do this automatically, but it isn’t so these are the mod_rewrite rules you should have in your .htaccess file. Click in the field and press CTRL + a to select all.”
Hopefully that’s not the issue.

The issue is that you didn’t install the theme properly. Please have a look at this video created by envato staff exactly for problems like yours:
http://wiki.envato.com/buying/support-buying/solving-broken-theme-issues/Basically, you first need to unpack the archive you’ve downloaded from themeforest, then zip only the theme folder and install only that one via wordpress installer. Or you can just upload the theme’s folder via FTP without the need to zip it.
You see, the archive you’ve downloaded from themeforest also contains documentation, psd files and license documents. There don’t have to be on your server in any way.
Please delete all the theme files you have installed on your server and reinstall the theme.
I’ve realized that there is limited space in this theme for top level menu links (especially since Finnish words a VERY long). I’d like to move the menu bar down below the logo so that the menu doesn’t run into it.
Can you give some suggestions on how to accomplish this with the CSS ?

In style.css look for this code:
#menu-wrapper { position:absolute; top:20px; right:0; z-index:110; width:760px; }Here you can increase top:20px; value to push the menu down and you can also adjust the menu width:760x; to a maximum of 960px;.

Hello, i’m using porfolio 1, and the pagination works well, but when i go to the portfolio_categories, and try to change to page 2, 3 etc… i got a error

The page you are looking for was not found on the server.
If you want your pagination to work on custom posts(such as portflios), the number of pages for “Blog pages show at most x posts”(from Settings -> Reading) must always be smaller or equal to the number of custom post items per page.
So, if you’ve chosen to have 12 portfolio entries per page you should also increase the “Blog pages show at most x posts” to 12.

When you create your portfolio page(Pages -> Add new) you should fill the “Page title” from “Custom Page Options” with your own text.

Hi, I didn´t get an e-mail with password after registrating at the support forum. Therefore I ask here.
I have a problem with the language file. The website I use the aquitaine-Template for is a german website. And there are, of course, some items to translate.
I have a german wp-installation, de_DE.mo/po installed and I have found the theme languagefile “default.po”. I edited the language files for my purposes, but the changes have no effects. For example I have translated the “Related Post” item to “Ähnliche Artikel” and updated the language file on the server. But it takes no effect. The text still appears in english. Any idea, what I do wrong?
The second is, that the date format does not change if I change the datformat settings in wp.

I’ve installed the theme but whenever I edit the URLs of buttons from http://goldenworks.ro/demos/aq_wordpress/wp-content/themes/aquitaine/images/green_btn.png to image URL of my domain it is not displaying.
When I paste the same URL in browser the images is getting displayed.

I purchased the theme recently. But I have some problems when I tried to build up the web. Here is the link of my web

This happens because of some conflicts between the theme’s css file and the plugin’s css, but can be fixed by writing a few more css classes.

Is using TimThumb required? Or is there a way to disable it? (And how). There’s too many security compromises with Timthumb, and I’d like to disable it if I can. Or at the very least, how can we update the script?

I really like the look of this theme, but I’m having a little bit of trouble with the Blog section. I followed the directions in the documentation and created a Blog category, a page with the blog template selected, and I changed the Reading settings so that the main page would point to a static page and the blog would point to my blog.
When I go to the blog section, it still says “Your latest posts” even though that’s not selected in any of the things I just mentioned.
Am I overlooking something?

In future upgrade it’d be nice to see all the “Portfolio” and “slider” options condensed into a single admin area with multiple pages. As it stands now, it crowds the admin menu like crazy!
