HI,

I received a answer to my question but, for some reason, I canno’t connect to the forum anymore : it doesn’t recognize my password and send me through a non sense password recovery procedure (with IDs and security keys!!).

Here is the answer I got:

That code makes the a:hover link color change. This is great but what I’d like to know is how to change the color of the link text itself, when there is no cursor above it. That way, people reading the text can know that there is a link in the text.

as far as we can see there is a custom inline css style which pushes an inner div of entry-content to 600px width. This width can be added by a JavaScript or manually inside the code.

Okay, but how do I make them smaller? Inside i choose a smaller option but the theme wont let me control the size?

There is no control for this, this code must have been added by you or by a third party script, its not part of the theme. We can’t say where it comes from.

Hi, I implemented this theme on a website but the slider keeps showing the loading icon and doesn’t show the pictures. Last week everything was fine and on the server side everything seems normal. What could be the problem here? Thanks in advance.

My bad, it was a conflict with the Javascript of the Addthis plugin! Disabled Addthis and no problems with the slider.

Hi we have the Arcadia theme for my daughter’s blog. Is there a way to insert a background image on the home page? The image would cover the whole page. If not, do you have another theme that would allow this function? Thanks!

the system is reading the wp-content/themes/arcadia/images/pattern folder by default. You could try to place your desired image inside this folder via FTP and choose it as you background inside the theme options panel.

glad our solution worked for you. In this case you need to make a change to the CSS. We recommend to place the following code inside the theme options panel under custom codes.

.entry-meta {
    display:none !important;
}
.entry-post {
    margin-left:0px !important;
}

HELP! Widgets / drag drop function and new post “Add Media” not working! When I click on a widget, it drops several rows of empty boxes, then when I try to add a new widget it will not allow me to drag and drop them at all. I also had the drag and drop problem with the main nav menus acting similarly strange, all this after update to latest wordpress version. 3.6 It appears the theme Arcadia is not updated? Hi, I deactivated all the plugins one by one and it does not correct, still not able to drag and drop widgets. I have updated WP, and newest version of Arcadia via FTP, no change. I sent Matt login info to the site, hope we can resolve :)

Hi there,

I bought the theme a few days ago. Initially the slider image was appearing correctly on desktop and laptop computers (although when looking on an iphone there was a loading circle in an empty space below the image, indicating that something was loading). Today I deleted the slide for the site’s slider image, and after uploading and attaching a new image to the slider, a loading circle appears and the image won’t load. My only option is to turn off the slider. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? Thank you, Charlie

I upload the theme to my FTP and didn’t do any mistake like uploading zip file. However, it looks like my stil.css is still missing and when i try to use theme options, I can not reach options and I see like a page “test input” not the options menu. It’s very urgent please help!

Hi,

I’ve 2 questions.

1 – If I insert a submenu in the main menu, it comes up as a drop down menu, but, if I insert another submenu in the first submenu, it does not show up as a dropdown, it just goes across the page. How can I fix that?

2 – The social links in the footer open in the same window, I would like them to open in a new window. How do I go about changing this?
