I have set up my posts for the front page slider. but unfortunately if I click on the post inside the slider, the page it takes me to displays the slider image twice. I have the image displayed and inserted at the top of the post.

Is there something else I need to do, a customer field perhaps?

All in all a nice template. Here’s some info about some small issues you might have

1. file footer.php was missing wp_footer();

2. function get_images() exist twice in file tools/get_images.php and functions/custom.php that is causing “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_images() (previously declared in … etc etc” when using the search

3. in file functions/custom.php there is a function that manipulates the $title adding the sites description to it. Thats all fine, but if you want to use some SEO plugin then the best is that $title is clean, so just change the function to return always the plain $title

I’m not experienced with html and want to correct the third problem MM mentions above. The Theme is adding the site description to to the $title and looks funny.

Using wordpress I assume I must go into editor and then edit the html in custom.php? Can someone be more specific about how to change the function?

I’ve 2 problems: -portfolio itens are limited to 10. -search widget fatal error: “PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_images() (previously declared in E:\home\alibra\Web\site\wp-content\themes\alibra-wp\functions\custom.php:228) in E:\home\alibra\Web\site\wp-content\themes\alibra-wp\tools\get_images.php on line 57”

Just read all comments and you’ll be fine.

I loved this theme, but now it is turning out to be a piece of crap.

You really need to work on the theme control panel to allow for some real functionality, as it is a paid theme.

Upgraded to the most recent version of WP for security issues, and now everything is falling apart again. WordPress (Version 3.0.5)

Images doubling up on the post display pages, header navigation vanishing, not to mention the issues of the title of the theme being the only thing to show relative to SEO , which I have to rework so the theme does not break. I do not want to have my site indexed for ‘archerone’

Dude, get a grip and put some time into this thing, get the functionality working properly.

You have a potentially nice theme here, but I am going have to bail on in till you get the kinks worked out…

Nevermind… I solved it…

I’ve really struggled setting up this theme.

The problem is that the portfolio url never takes it to portfolio: it just loops back onto the homepage.

And it duplicates the url:

http://www.jamesmulveyonline.com/http:/www.jamesmulveyonline.com/SEO-Web-Writer-Copywriter

Never mind. It was my stupid mistake.

I’ve tried to reach Steve for weeks but without any luck, so i’ll post my question here, hoping somebody knows a solution. This is the first time i’m using wordpress or scriptcodes so if anybody has a solution, please say exactly where to alter what

- I want to make a homebutton that links to the homepage. I’ve made a new category called ‘home’ and connected it to the homepage, but when you click on it, it does link to the homepage but shows ‘page not found’ error. What did i do wrong?

- Does anybody know if it’s possible to make the logo clickable to the homepage also?

- I’d like to link all the images from the homepage-loop (fading images on top of homepage) to the corresponding posts that show in the banner underneath (sliding images in the middle of the homepage). Does anybody know how?

First, thanks for the great theme, the best design i found! Then, after many issues, i managed to use it and starting work on my website. I already wrote to you via your den page but had no answer.

Please, could you help me for these last issues?

- how to chose which images are displayed on the homepage banner? I would display images that are not essentially visible on the website.

- i also would that images not be croped in miniatures and other formats but rather resized. Possible?

- i changed the code to get portfolio stuffs instead of blog stuffs in the loop bar on homepage but i lose the arrows to navigate. How to keep the arrows?

- can we make the logo clickable?
