Hi,

Hmm. After getting your report, I then search for the news and it seems like most bit.ly links are currently flagged as malware somehow. Here is one of the news from TheNextWeb: http://thenextweb.com/insider/2014/10/25/chrome-firefox-flag-bit-ly-links-malware/

“bit.ly” is a URL shortener service and, currently, even its main website is flagged as well. ( http://bit.ly )

I just checked my personal bit.ly links and they are also flagged. Very strange situation…

Note that the file you mentioned is the changelog file of Visual Composer plugin and actually the link is safe. I think it is just affected by this strange situation. Let’s see what will happen next.

Anyway, thanks for the report! :)

Thank you.

1. I’m using Wordfence and it flagged it as possible malware. 2. Additionally, Google Chrome flagged it as a possible malware site. 3. I’ve used bit.ly and tinyurl numerous times (both as sender and receiver) and have not once (at least not until the link in question in your theme) ha any issues.

Just thought I’d let you know.

Thanks for the info. I totally understand that the case like this would make me worry as well. :)

I can assure you that the link ” http://bit.ly/vc_34_to_35 ” does not contain malware. Here is the screenshot of the actual URL: http://cl.ly/image/062n0U3X401J

As my previous post, all bit.ly links were temporarily flagged and blocked by Google Safebrowsing in Chrome/Firefox.

Now the links are working normally again. Here are the tweets from bit.ly regarding that situation:

Hi, I have purchased this theme, but it seems that Home slide doesn’t work properly.

When I upload a image in some slide (about 100 kb size) with the exact proportions (2000×624), the home page is charging for several seconds, and finally, the image is not charged. I can only see black background.

Any idea to solve this?

Thanks!

UXbarn

Hi,

Strange. Did you mean that there are only some slides that do not display? Do you remember what was the latest action before the issue occurred (like installing new plugins, customizing the code, etc.) ?

Could you please try uploading other images on those slides again?

Can you supply me with the code that will remove the “logo” and the “Site Title / Tag line” from the top?

Thank you!

Also, I need code so that when I scoll down the menu disappears. But only when I scoll down.

Hi there!

To entirely hide the logo and tagline, please go to “Style Customizer > Others > Custom CSS” and try using this code:

#logo-wrapper {
    display:none;
}

In case you would like to use custom CSS for other elements, I would recommend “Developer Tools” on Chrome or “Firebug” on Firefox to inspect the elements on the page. Then you can know which CSS selector to adjust.

For removing the menu when scrolling down, unfortunately there is no option for that out of the box. You would need to manually customize the theme code for that.

Am I able to remove “You are here:” from in front of my bread crumb trail? If so where?

Thank you, Jason

UXbarn

Hi Jason!

Yes. You can find that text in “header.php” file. :)

You’re welcome!

Hello UXbarn,
Kindly i need a simple help i get your themes around 8 months but now i want customize CSS but it’s very hard because ”#content-container .fixed-box ” are realated.
However if you go to http://agvisionconstruction.com and check recent portfolio i want to make the white background of ”#content-container .fixed-box” blue and description “Our Recent Projects.” white.
Any Advise. Regards

UXbarn

Hi there!

Please try using this custom CSS:

.portfolio-item.fixed-box {
    background-color: #1F3B8F !important;
    color: #fff !important;
}

.portfolio-item.fixed-box .description-title {
    color: #fff !important;
}

In case you would like to use custom CSS for other elements, I would recommend “Developer Tools” on Chrome or “Firebug” on Firefox to inspect the elements on the page. Then you can know which CSS selector to adjust.
