means if u add posts with the shortcode u will have all the crap after the more tag in it too.

Hi there, Could anyone explain to me why do I have to make a “request” to use the forum when if you buy the theme it says you will receive “Support on our support forum”? Also, why I can only “like” or “tweet” the theme but I can’t rate it? It says 5 stars from 7 ratings, but I bought it and I can’t rate it. Do I have to make another “request” for that as well?

I bought Arctica, but when i go to the Support forum (I own another template) I can only ask questions for Compound. How do I ask questions for Arctica?

how do you limit the number of post that show up? I only want 3 to show but all my post from that category show up.

If you choose the latest post option you can choose number of post but when you choose category you can not.

Do not purchase this theme if you need any support. There is a flaw with short code “Category” If you have a bunch of post in one category their is no way to limit the number of post that are shown, so if you only want 3 to show and you have 50 post in a category, all 50 will show. Also it will pull the same post the reader is viewing. It should not have related post the same post the reader is currently viewing.

You had mentioned previously that different transition options could be easily defined for the slider. How and where can I do that? I would like to implement a fade effect in place of the left to right slide.

Well, this is a nice looking theme and I had high hopes for it, but there have been many problems along the way and I am still waiting for my support registration to be provided so I can try and get them sorted. But here is my feedback for others to consider.

1. The icon menu is good, but when you set the “Text color” option, it only updates to the selected colour after you hover over the menu item. On page load it still defaults to the blue that is inherited. (solved myself by editing css and overriding the default)
2. The WYSIWYG editor was totally broken by the theme and I had to disable it in the config file manually to be able to edit posts/pages etc. (solved myself)
3. I know the theme is meant to be Responsive, but it just looks wrong on my Galaxy Nexus phone and Moto Xoom tablet
4. The theme changes the default php error reporting level and was causing all sorts or problems with other plugins. (solved myself by commenting out the ini_set() call in functions.php)
5. Documentation could really use some work. For example: The are two dot points about adding slides, however each slide has 10 fields/options that don’t have so much as a tooltip (I still have no idea what “top image” is compared to “background image”). In fact, I have had to work out most settings simply by trial and error.
6. I’m having an ongoing issue with Cart66 in so much as the theme is causing “add to cart” post data to be submitted twice! (I fear this may just be the surface of a bigger issue within the theme), I have no idea why this is happening or how to correct the issue and have already spent far too many hours trying to – please help!

One question please. I could put in place the slider images, flash (Flash VR and swf), mpg or any other format. I want to put in the slider, a virtual tour demo where customers can use the mouse to navigate it.

Nice theme, but I think I find a bug when I swicth language from a mobile device. I was browsing with a samsung galaxy s2, and all was fine; theme was the mobile version. Ok! But when I click to change language to deutch, the theme was changed to the desktop version!

Can you check this, please?

Hello, template is very nice and I’d be interested in purchasing, but surfing official demo and some of the links found in this discussion I’ve noticed that it loads extremely slow… I don’t know if it’s a server issue but it’s not pleasant.
