The custom Twitter widget appears not to be working either. I have looked through the relevant files in the editor with reference to the problem above with the icons not showing in the subscribers/followers box thinking it may just be a case of linking up the images correctly and they appear to be correct. I am stumped. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Could you ask your webhost to provide error log of your twitter widget please.

Hi There I’ve tried to post a support ticket but the themegoods site has advised me to post here.
Recently, upgraded wordpress to latest version and upgraded theme from v1.4 to current. Regen thumbnails all fine.
3 things: 1. the ‘home page’ slider is appearing VERY differently in browsers. In firefox the images and text appear fine, but in IE the images appear out of alignment and the black area that holds the text into has become elongated to the left of the image. Text is then wrapping in a strange fashion over the image.
2. The twitter feed widget seems to be very hit and miss in all browsers, sometimes it loads and sometimes it doesnt. When it fails to load you are left with a blank box about 5 px high – no widget title – just the keyline of the widget.
3. We are presently having a lot of spam comments and we are trying to eradicate this. Is akismet suitable for use with the ares theme? if not could you advise a similar plugin or technique to use in conjunction with the theme.

Yes, it does support responsive layout.
The RSS /Twitter count hasn’t been updating for the last two weeks now. After using the theme for almost a year I would rate it a 7/10. Sometimes it doesn’t load properly, there are a few bugs here and there, and you won’t get any support.

next to the RSS Subscriber Icon… I was wondering how to get rid of the warning or maybe even the Subscriber count and just leave the Twitter.

I removed it and its still there…. any other suggestions?

looks like a lot of people are having trouble with the feedburner maybe release a update to get rid of it completely?

Download from Themeforest > your account > downloads and replace all theme’s files and folders with the new version.

Can you tell us which files you updated specifically so we don’t have to replace everything?
And I agree with the comment above, can you remove the RSS altogether and have the option to replace it with Facebook likes?
One other question, can you explain how to remove the border of a specific text widget?
Please update files in Ares’s /lib folder.
I agree with sebuzz, facebook likes would be better than RSS count.
I love the theme, but I’m having an issue with adding custom post types. Everything is working wonderfully, except I’m not able to get the “add featured image” box on my new custom post type. I’ve included ‘supports’ => array(‘title’,’editor’,’author’,’thumbnail’,’excerpt’,’comments’,’custom-fields’), and have tried adding various lines to the functions.php file, but nothing that I’ve tried has been working.
Any idea as to why newly added post types wouldn’t allow thumbnails?
