I love this this theme! But I have two questions: #1 I’d like to completely remove the Twitter/Subscriber counts. Where should I look in the code so that I completely remove that. I don’t want it to appear anywhere on my site. #2 It would also be great if the 125×125 Sidebar Banner were a widget option, giving you more control over location placement on the sidebar. Again, where should I look in the code so that I can move that to appear beneath the sidebar on the main page and/or single post pages.

Is it possible to use the written excerpt in the big slider on the homepage? I’m not opposed to editing the code to get it to work. Thanks!

Hi, since WP 3.5 i have problems! At first, i have the newest ares theme (2.1).

1. The youtube videos doesnt work 100%, i have every time a black window over the youtube video

2. The formating is corrupt. Look over “1.ESD …”

3. How can i remove the “facebook-icon” from the startscreen?

4. The Slider doesn`t work. If i activate them … it loads and loads and loads ….

Can you help me fast?

2. To remove the facebook url does not sove the problem. I haven`t at any time an facebook url. There is only my twitter and youtube name/url. Can i maybe change the facebook icon with the youtube icon? This will be perfect.

3. I have already disable all plugins, but it doesnt still work.

Hellp, peerapong, the custom CSS feature has been removed on this theme, since the 3.5 update was released. Can you help? And the media uploader does not work.

Doesn’t matter. The Custom CSS has been removed from Wordpress, but the CSS can still be found in the Ares editor section. And the MediaUploader is working yay!

How do I find the manual for v. 2.0?

Hi Peerapong, you know how there are 4 columns in the footer? Can you teach how to adjust the width of the columns so that the first is larger than the rest? For example, if the footer width is 100%, the first column is 40%, and the rest is 20%.

I’m experiencing some issue with flexislider and IE8, the caption text of the slide using that browser is moving on the left side of the slide, probably it’s some css to apply and maybe you know already how to do fix it, if you do please let me know. Otherwise, please give me some suggestion. thank you

Hey peerapong, I updated to the new wordpress and now I cannot type anything onto a new post or existing ones. I can type in the title section but not the body.

Hi, I’m having the same issue as darboston. WordPress automatically updated to the 3.5 version but has issues. I can’t completely view previous posts or new posts. I can’t toggle between visual and editor, and I can only see what is typed by highlighting it. I’m a novice. What should I do? Do I download the latest version of Ares from Themeforest? Am I supposed to deactivate and reactivate plugins too? Thanks in advance for assistance!

Question: If I want to add a photo gallery/slideshow for viewers to click through pictures similar to the following: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1460252-grading-the-nbas-top-10-superstars-on-their-2012-performance do I need to add a plugin or does it require coding? If it’s as simple as a plugin, is there one that you recommend?

Please disregard my previous comment regarding WordPress 3.5 issue. I fixed it with the new version of Ares… and my Web host, HostGator, assisted with getting Visual to display properly.

The Facebook counter doesn’t seem to be counting at all. It doesn’t add new likes. Have you checked that it works?
