What is the easiest way to adjust the CSS stylesheet? So far I cannot figure out a way other than changing the original file itself, so as to make updates easy. Does this theme support child themes?

Sorry it couldn’t be done using theme admin. However you can edit theme CSS file to change that

In addition to the above: When posting a wordpress gallery on a page (using wordpress’ built-in gallery feature), my image thumbnails are always in one column only, despite specifying the number of columns.
Please let me know how this can be fixed or if it will be fixed in the next update, as I know no other way to post a row of images.
For the image flow gallery, the portrait orientation photos work fine. But instead of my landscape photos increasing in size when they are the selected photo, they shrink (to close to the size of the portrait photos width). How can this be fixed?

I updated the Artemis but it showed Version 1.7.1 in my control panel. I also checked style.css in Artemis-v1-8 folder and it was shown Version: 1.7.1.
How can I get the latest version 1.8?

This the is cool.
We are going to release our site but we want to change a small “thing” in your theme. We want to use “Image flow slideshow” but on click we want to open a static page retrive for example from “image description”. But after 45minutes of scouting we didn’t find the files that manager that gallery. Could you please help us? Thanks in advance !
Sorry it doesn’t support image description on lightbox but you can add image title using gallery admin instead.
Hello. I have the same question asked by “joshualevisturm” about a month ago. I want to reorder the images on my portfolio page. I do not have the “Portfolios Reorder” button described in the manual. Neither can I figure out a way to drag-drop and change the order. Is there a solution?

I tried to install the Artemus theme via “word press install” and ftp install. Both failed with the same error message:
“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”
I installed the Artemus file taken from the original downloaded zip file.
I installed the Artemus file taken from the original zip file after converting it into it’s own zip file.
I even installed the whole zip original file ( which is wrong) and all got the same message: “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”
I’m lost, help.

Thanks for getting back. I figuered it out in the meantime. I had to extract your file. Find the artemis_tg file and seperate it. Then I had to zip that artemis_tg file and upload it to word press. Weird how I didn’t need to upload everything in the original zip but it worked. So far so good.

I recommend image at 1024px resolutions and you can remove social icons using Theme Setting > Social Profiles.

you may recall I had some problems with the contact page that went from working perfectly to not working at all after updating WP.
I have re added the fields as you said but now when you press ‘send message’ the page reopened in another frame and the message doesn’t get sent page is here; http://www.matthew-clarke.co.uk/?page_id=673
Please also add “Name” field for contact page.

It doesn’t use Cufon font. It’s Google Web Fonts.

in the flow gallery – i want to disable the fancybox and define that when clicking on some image it will open link: “http://www.myaddress.com/” + the image title
after that i will set the image title like the page i want to go to.
example: the page i want to open when i clicking the image: http://www.myaddress.com/?page_id=136
so the image title will be ”?page_id=136”
this way every picture will open different page.

Sorry, it needs a custom modification. This type of customization is a bit more complex and is not covered under normal theme support.

Hello, I just bought the template, I love it.
A few minor things though:
- Am I missing the setting where to change the font menu? Should I use CSS ?
- How can I disable the backstretch image ? I tried a display:none; but that replaced it with a black background, while my background is white.
- When I set my background to white in the admin area, I still do see a black background flashing when I visit a page or a post.
- When viewing the blog, I see that the Featured Image is displayed above the date and title. Could that be swapped ? So: First the title and date, then the Featured Image, then the Exerpt etc etc..

I was able to edit the uploaded contact.php file and change some of the fields. Then I re uploaded it via ftp and Buya! Custom fields. I’d definately consider adding this to the theme to make it easier.

why horizontal images are cropped at the top and bottom? It doesn’t matter image resolution – even with the resolution given by your 1024 is the same

I have an issue that my submenus do not appear when I ‘hover’ over the parent menu items. When I click on the parent, the submenu appears, but obviously I dont have a chance to click on the submenu, as I am taken to the parent page.

Hi, I loaded all three music files in any browser and hear no music. All settings are made??. Please help …
Open Wordpress admin > Settings > Reading > Front page display select “Your latest posts”.
Which is set. I just can not find anything wrong. Audio files are 6-7MB. Autoplay is yes and also the icon on the left of the home page is displayed. With the click is ‘on’ and shown on 1-2sec back ‘off’. What can it be? Thanks for the help.
Sorry but there are always more error on the theme. Sorting in the galleries is absolutely not impossible. For other themes I’ve never experienced so many errors. I’m sorry to say this. It is not possible to continue working with it. Now I have a problem.
1. Provide screenshot of your Theme Setting > Music please.
2. Please check. There might be javascript conflict between theme’s script and plugin’s script. Try to disable all plugins
Well the theme is perfectly working, and 1,000+ purchasers could confirm that.
As you select and upload audio files WP an incorrect path is chosen. If the path is chosen manually corrected, the music is played. The sorting of images in the gallery can be done by drag and drop. It can not detect it. Perhaps as a tip for you to point out. Sorry and thanks for the help again. These problems have made me a little nervous.

On your demo you have menu items that do not take you anywhere when you click on them (ie Skins, Portfolio). How do you do that?
Also, I want to have a page where I click into it from the menu and then goes to a page that shows my galleries (gallery1, gallery2, etc). And then from there when I click on a gallery, it shows the photos from that gallery in lightbox. Is this possible? Thank you in advance.

2. Sorry It doesn’t support that. I will consider to add it into the future if there are many requests from customers. Generally speaking, if it’s not in the demo then it’s not in the theme.
