Thx for checking. The amazing thing is that when i activate the digg digg plugin the sidebar is nicely put on the right side.

If i disable the plugin the sidebar is under the page.

I think the best way, without additional coding, is to just remove the slider scripts and code.

Go to the theme’s folder and open the file named “header.php”. From line 68 to 89 remove this code:

Now, open the file named “functions.php” and rename the line 50 & 51.

Now, your image should load fine without the scripts.

If you want to remove the related videos you need to edit the shortcode code.

Go to the theme’s folder > admin and edit the file named “shortcodes.php”. On line 252 you’ll find this code:

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="'.$frame_width.'" height="'.$frame_height.'" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/'.$id.'" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Just add rel=”0” to the iframe code. Save. Done.

I can’t change anything. I can change the file, but in the browser nothing will change when I look at the source. When I rename the file short codes.php to .php.test it will still some errors at the top of the page, but still show the player with the standard settings. What am I missing here?

Unfortunately the Nivo slider does not support anything but images and captions.

If you just want to replace the slider with a flv file or any other video format file it’s possible but requires some modifications in the theme files.

Go to your WP dashboard > Feat.Slider > Add New. On your right-bottom of the page you’ll see a box called “Featured Image”. Click on “Set featured image”, upload your picture and then hit “Use as featured image”. Publish. Done.

hello thank you for reply. I try to add a slide following your reply but it slider doesn’t shown. secondly I can show my favicon on crome but it doesn’t change on Explorer. Do you have a solution to fix this? Thanks! ^^

Did you enabled the featured slider in the theme options page?

As for the favicon,make sure you clear your browser’s cache an it will be displayed in explorer too.

Yes, it’s possible if you have some html/css skills. If you go to the theme’s folder and edit the file named “header.php” you’ll find the code responsible for the icons from line 114 to 127.

The styling code can be found in the “styles” folder in the style-sheet you’re using (eg. blue.css) starting from line 272.

It’s possible, but you need to make some modifications in the theme file.

First go to the theme’s folder and open the file named “blog.php”. On line 17 replace this code:

$wp_query->query('showposts='.get_option('of_number_blogposts').''.'&paged='.$paged);

with this:

$wp_query->query('category_name=my-category&showposts=5'.'&paged='.$paged);

Change “my-category” with the category you want to pull posts from. Save.

Then, duplicate the “blog.php” file (eg. make blog2.php). Open the file and on line 3 replace “Blog” with “Blog 2”.

Change the category again from which you wanna pull the posts. Save. Done.

Now, create 2 pages, each one with the blog page templates “Blog” and “Blog 2”.

Done.
