Maybe you could consider doing something about the manual. It’s just a suggestion.
“Next you have to upload image for this slide. Look at “Featured Image” box. and upload your image.” Maybe here is the cause of the confusion.

It’s failing to install. I uploaded it and it’s uploading, then telling me “Are you sure you want to do this? please try again” ... not sure if it’s your theme or clean install of wordpress. I’ve never had this problem when creating other sites with different themes. I unzipped it and found the actual zip file with the theme, and that isn’t working either. ... How to fix it and get it installed easily?

I just bought this theme, and set-up is going great, but widgets are not appearing. They are missing from the contact page, sidebar pages, and even the sample page included with the theme.
I was on WP 3.5 and downgraded to 3.4.2, but that didn’t help. How can I fix this?

Also when you create a page, did you select sidebar for it.
Please follow the theme’s instructions in /manual/index.html it will help you get through all theme features.
Ok, I see now where you have to select which sidebar you want to use for each page under “Page Sidebar” setting. That fixed it. Thanks for the response.
Update: I re-installed WP 3.4.2 by hand, and updated to Athena v1.1, but widgets still are not appearing, although column space is being created for them on each page when they are activated.
I also tested with the stock 2012 theme and widgets are working with it, so I don’t think it’s my installation. Please let me know if you have a fix for this as it is stopping us from finishing our site.

Regarding threads, Themeforest’s comments system doesn’t allow you to reply to your own post, until someone else has first, so I had to create a new thread to post that update. All set now though. Thanks.

Is there a way to change the position of the menu items from the Home page? In your example page it looks like the items are centered. Can I do this from the wp admin? I cannot find a feature to modify the position.

It’s not centered. It’s right align as you can see on demo site.
Sorry it couldn’t be done using theme admin. However you can edit theme CSS file to change that

Please check. There might be javascript conflict between theme’s script and plugin’s script. Try to disable all plugins

One more thing, now it’s about the slider. So, new slide (the same thing is happening for edit slides), already set featured image. In the slide options there is no Slide Content Type, as described in the manual. Select transition style is the first one, then display slide title, then the other options. No slide content type. I have a capture if you want to see it.

There is no “Slide Content Type” in the Slider options. My homepage slide images are just images, I cannot link to them an URL, video, etc. How can I send you the screenshot?

When is says that included are “26 Page templates” what does that mean, and how can I see samples?

I have 3-column footer. I like to show contact info, recent posts and image (“logo set”). I can find all needed in Widgets but not way to add image to footer. Can you point me correct place in php code to where add image tag. Thank you.

OK I am most likely doing something wrong but I cant get the logo to change from the demo Athena to mine that I created. I went to the theme settings / logo and went through the upload process. I then saved changes on the page but the logo still remains the Athena logo. If it matters I have not yet set up any portfolios. Since this is step one in the manual it seems like it should work with out that. I have been able to change the contact email and number that display at the top of the page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After purchasing discovered the theme is not compatible with the latest version of safari (6). When will this be resolved? The homepage slider is completely broken.
No, it’s not I checked with the latest version of Safari and slider works fine.
You’re right. It does work when I create the slide – for some reason though, for me, the demo site breaks on safari 6. Other than that, great theme. Very well coded.

Right. But the size for the slider is set somewhere else besides the css. There should be a javascript somewhere. Or… please let me know what PHP file has the code in it for the slider and I can start there. Thanks
