I am having a problem with backgrounds, using the HTML version. They are not showing up.

Just a question:
I downloaded the theme from here (Themeforest) and on my Wordpress dashboard it seems to be the 1.0 version.
But your Change Log says there is a 1.2 version (that fix contact and subscription bug).
Is this the problem?

No, the WP theme is current one, i just forgot to change the version number. Contact/Subscribe bug was server side but your problem seems to be client side. I tested my theme again and couldn’t find any problem on my test server and seems you removed the subscribe/contact forms from your theme. could you set it up again so i could take a look?

About the test, I’ve tried also the “view demo” version on IE8 and IE9 and still subscription and contact form don’t works.

You were right, Ajax API in IE does not recognize empty URLs and that was the problem.
I sent a quick fix to your email and I’ll update the theme to reflect the changes soon.

BTW I disabled the subscribe and contact forms to prevent spam.
Just purchased the item, but would like to request that you consider adding a CAPTCHA check for the contact form to cut down on spam. I’ve had many sites with open contact forms that just get flooded with bot spam.

Thanks for your interest in our template. This theme come with two versions: HTML and Wordpress Theme. The Wordpress theme allow you to configure the theme in options panel. And if you like to use HTML version, you could easily replace/add images came with theme (Logo, Backgrounds) without having to know HTML but if you like to customize it further, some HTML skills is necessary.

Please refer to “Adding/Editing Background Images” in provided manual. But basically you should go to “Slides” in wordpress control panel and add images as post thumbnails.

Before I ask my question I would first like to say awesome work. I am working on a project for one of my comes as well as working on a few things for my clients. I am a web designer as well as a personal trainer and some time it diffcult trying to manage both of my business…considering I need a website for my own company as well as designing for other clients.
I needed a coming soon landing page for my fitness blog and your template was just awesome for my whole company’s theme and that is hard to fiind…so KUDOS and THANK YOU .
Your template was very easy for me to edit to what I needed for my own feel. It was ease for me to make sure that the facebook link point to the secure server that facebook as implemented for the fanpages now!
I just wanted to give you the praises for this theme because it did not dissapoint me in no way at all.

Now for my question. I wanted the background image to change every few second for my blog..I know how to do it in the HTML file, but I can not seem to get it correct in the Wordpress file. I am not sure if I am misunderstanding something, or is it not possible for Wordpress?

Have you checked the Atheron options panel in wordpress control panel? You can set a time (in milliseconds) for how much each image could stay on screen there.
When a person enters their email address to “Sign Up” does this send me an email notifying me that someone has “Signed Up”?
Will it do this for the contact form also?

Contact form will send you an email with a template you specify in settings page (Sender email, subject, and other text you want to attach to it). But the sign up form only saves your users email in an xml file so you could send them email from other applications.

Couldn’t you use the same code you use for the contact form to do this for the sign up?

Its basically the same, you can use the email function to send subscribers email address to your email, but the reason i didn’t include the code in subscription function is that on popular websites you could get lots of those emails from your clients and i think its not desirable for most people.
Anyway I could customize the code for you if like.

In “index.html” file there is a “UL” tag with class=”Social” under each child “LI” there is an “A” tag which you can add target=”_blank” attribute to.

1) Yes, It come with a PSD file with adjustable elements. 2) Yes, Documentation is included for adjusting various elements of the theme (including countdown timer and contact form) for both HTML and wordpress theme. 3) No backgrounds included in this theme but you could use lots of free high quality images from various websites, such as wallpaperswide.com (which i used for demo)

Great holding page – I’m using the html version. However, am having a few problems.
Have set the lib folder permission to 777 (and all sub files??) but am getting an internal server error. Current php version being: 5.2.9

Just to follow up from previous message – am now using a php 5.3. The config file now is saved onto my machine when i enter the url. So i’ve edited in and then uploaded via ftp but still no joy.
Sorry couldn’t wait so purchased another under construction theme. However, as this theme hasn’t gone live would like to know what I didn’t do right as its too good not use. (I already have another project perfect for this theme). Please respond to my email address.

For those of you that has this problem, Remove ”< ! – -” from in front of the <img src=”content/images/background.jpg” ect… and then clear your temporary internet files and reload the page.
