yes you can change every background texture and color. If not from the built in options in the backend, you can definitely always ask for custom css for a specific area you want to change

The wood background you can see in our demo can be changed via the theme options without custom css. If you want to change the white background of the content area you would use custom CSS. You can ask me for that and you can easily copy that into the theme options without having to modify css files!

Why has the flexslider stopped working? I see buttons but the slides do not change when pressed. Ggrrrr…
Hi!
Make sure you are on a WordPress version that is compatible with the theme. If it is, try to deactivate all the plugins you installed (besides flexslider) and see if that solves anything. I suspect a JavaScript/jQuery issue to be the culprit.

For those who are having trouble with the SLIDER, try looking at your site in a browser other than Chrome. Seems to work in FF, Safari, and IE…. but not Chrome.

Hi I just installed Atom 3.5 and then got this warning from my hosting company:
“We have detected that you have installed a vulnerable version of the ‘Uploadify’ script in your webspace. This may be part of a theme or plugin you have installed, and the file location below should help you locate which one it is.

This script allows third-parties to check for the existence of files in your webspace, and potentially upload their own files. This could result in damage to your website content, allow hackers to infect the computers of visitors to your website, and in extreme circumstances allow the server itself to be compromised.
Version 2.1.4 of uploadify.php is the specific version that is vulnerable, but if your version is older than this then your script still needs to be updated. There is some more information on the vulnerability here: http://www.waraxe.us/advisory-83.html
This is a very serious vulnerability and needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. Inaction will result in your site being taken offline in a few days. In the first instance you should locate the plugin or theme which this script is part of and update that as soon as possible. “

Thanks for the notice! You can download the updated uploadify version from there: http://www.uploadify.com/wp-content/uploads/files/uploadify.zip
Try replacing all the files in atom/uploadify with all the files from the new uploadify folder. Make a backup first please and let me know if you run into any issues, but it should work flawlessly.

The dark background behind the category and archive links in sidebar is not tall enough, so one can only see top half of the text (same with “Save all changes” buttons in theme options). Please can you fix this?

It’s on the ThemeForest demo http://themeforest.net/item/atom-a-design-studio-full-resposive-wordpress/full_screen_preview/2231331 I’ve looked at it in Firefox, IE and chrome (latest versions) and it has the same fault in all.

Hi there… I’m using this theme (great theme by the way) – one small glitch… every time I put an image slider (Royal slider, etc) on the bottom of the front page… it leaves a gap below the slider equivalent to the number of images in the slider itself – most weird…
