As WP 3 .4 isn’t a DEFINITIVE version, I really recommend to test it before send to a production server.

Here at our local host and servers it works fine with WP 3 .4 version.

I was waiting for the Docs, but what’s the best way to hold the update? It’s telling me that ATOM folder already exists. Can I just delete the theme, and reinstall? Is anything lost this way?

I really like this theme and thinking of purchasing it but before that I have a couple of questions:

1. Will this work the the latest Wordpress 3.4.x update? 2. And will the updates to the theme be supported and modified for future Wordpress updates? 3. Can you modify the “tab” graphic? (ie: under “Recent Work”, “Latest Post”) 4. On the front page of the demo, the image slider, can you actually make the images clickable to go to another link? 5. How can I insert Videos to a blog post? Is there an integration? Can you actually put the video into the current location on the blog post page? 6. How well does the theme work for SEO plugins such as All in 1 SEO plugin? Or do you recommend an SEO plugin that would work well?

5. Yes, we provide shortcodes to Youtube, Vimeo or just Flash. And are responsive, sure.

6. I think All in 1 SEO is one of the best options here and works fine with ATOM , so I think don’t have problem use this one ;)

Second level menus don’t work anymore. I reverted to v2.0, when will the other updates, and documentation be available? How much is “in the next few days”?
[I’m sure everyone knows how, but If anyone is wondering how to update safely to 3.0, just change the original theme installation folder (atom) to something else, don’t delete it. Install the new version, and if you don’t like it, just rename back the backup folder. Everything will be back to normal. Haven’t checked compatibility with wp 3.4+]

I purchased the theme and really like it. I would love a blockquote shortcode as that would really help with paragraph content.

I am thinking about purchasing this theme to do a client’s site. This is a beautiful theme, but I am a little (well, a lot) concerned about the comments you guys are making. Especially when it comes to the designer’s inability to deliver on time and as promised. Quite a few of you said this site is VERY buggy. Knowing what you know about this theme now (especially now that you’ve got the update), would you still purchase atom? Essentially, I’d like to know if you think I should not waste my time.

I would like to say that almost bugs were fixed and today we release the official 3.5 version, with few new features, I had nice comments also and I think all the bugs reported by users were fixes with the update.

If you find something, we’ll with all the sure fix it. We made a lot of investiment with new servers, new support and new theme devs, so we’re like “new business” now, if you look to our recent themes or already updated, you’ll see good comments :)

But one thing, if you buy you can send me a message and I send the update for you, or you can wait and get official release tomorrow here at ThemeForest.

Thanks for your prompt response, but please note that the responses from those who have purchased this theme already are a bit disconcerting. To jrubner’s point, your kind words are much appreciated; however, there are too many beautiful themes in the world to settle for one that is extremely buggy.

You seem very on top of encouraging people to purchase and promising updates that seem to have yet to arrive. However, I see way too many comments that say they aren’t getting the same level of quick response when they run into an issue or beg for the update.

1. Currently, only 2.0 is listed as available, not the 3.5 you said is available. I don’t think Time Zone is a factor. When it posts, it should post, I may get it at 2 p.m. in Seattle, but someone else will get it at 5 p.m. in Washington, D.C. (and so on). I’d love to purchase the theme WITH this update everyone is desperately begging for. BTW , it is not a good thing when people are desperately begging.

2. To anyone else whose purchased this theme recently, do you feel this theme is worth the trouble?

To the designer, thank you so much for being super kind and quick to reply to these posts in terms of sales. But, if I went by the existing posts alone, it would seem crazy if I chose to purchase. I am hoping that the more recent buyers can give me a thumbs up or thumbs down. I think it is beautiful and it is one of three that I am looking to choose from.

I sincerely hope I can get enough information to make a well-informed decision.

1. Can blog posts or static posts be published on the homepage slider? Or just portfolios? If just portfolios, is it possible to get blog post up?

2. There are a lot of negative comments here. Are these problems fixed with this update?

3. Can I make the menu bar blue? I see only four color options.

@sweets4dasweet I don’t know if this helps. I bought this theme earlier this week. This was my first go at Wordpress, so I’m far from a power user, but I didn’t have much trouble with the theme. The one issue I had was with some section title ribbons that weren’t correctly left justifying. It looked fine on the computer and on the iphone, but on my iPad it was cutting off letters. I submitted a ticket on this and this evening, they sent me the updated css file to fix the issue. It worked like a champ. I’m not sure if I’ll update to the 3.5 yet or not. I’d like to see what the differences are to determine if I think it’s worth it first. As it is, my site is up and running and I’m happy with it. Hope this helps.

I still have no idea what people are complaining about with this theme. I am not a master with WP and I was able to make all the changes I need without issues. The only issue I had was with the email being sent to me, but the update fixed that.

Theme looks really cool. I hope you can understand a potential buyer’s frustration when he sees all these bug comments and complaints about delays.

One last question before I buy: You said blog posts can be published on the slider. Can text be published too? On the demo, it looks like the only text is in the graphic itself.

I don’t understand what you want to do with slider, but let me be clear as possible here:

- You can only insert images with our slider, so you’ll need type the text inside the slide image and place there. - You can also define a href to the slide

Oh, yes, with V3.5 is possible. We’re uploading a new demo version using 3.5 right now, I think will be ready in a couple of hours…

We can’t send the updates to users that requested the new version because we’re experiencing issues with Zendesk, we can’t access the system, looks like they are having a Denial of Service Attack since morning :( – at least is what they said here – https://twitter.com/#!/ZendeskOps

But I think tomorrow it’ll be normalized and by the way, our update will be approved by TF team :)

Well, that sucks! Good news rarely travels as fast as bad news! This is a fact! However, please put yourself in our shoes! If you were thinking of purchasing a car and 60% of people said the brakes failed and 25% said when they took it to the shop they got no response or follow-up, would you really buy that car just to die a fiery death?

So in this case, you had to dig deep for good reviews when the first three to four of the most recent pages have people complaining. Also, we continue to see you making promises to deliver the update to no avail. From you promising a couple of hours or a couple of days, we look down and see “23” days ago from the first promise you made on the same request. Also, see complaints about the Help Desk you are referring people to. I am not saying you are, but that does make it seem as though you’re lying. ThemeForest probably is the true culprit here. As several people have said, “over promise” or be transparent about when the update is truly coming! I promise, we are very understanding! You “sound” like a very nice person, but actions do tend to speak louder than words.

Now that you’ve sent examples of the theme in use, I will probably purchase. The few good feedback are still vastly, overshadowed by the bad ones. Yet, I know I probably will NOT return after a purchase has been made to give rave reviews myself. So I get you! However, I hope those are some helpful tips as you look to gain the trust of potential buyers. Your sites are beautiful and do a great job of responding here. Remember, we aren’t just looking to purchase this one theme, we are looking for help when the issues arise (and possible extra themes to buy from you if you prove a great service provider). I had already checked out your other work for other jobs, so this theme really could be a tester for some of us!

I will say thank you so much for providing those site examples. I haven’t taken a look to see if the update is available as promised. Guessing that it is not (just looked – it’s not), I will look to get it from the alternative option, which is a great back up if it is indeed available there.

About update, we already launched 2 versions since the first promisse, what happen is what I already said, the users don’t come back to say if that works fine or not so it just fills the page with requests and more request, but now we’ll release 3.5 version.
