Hi,

Great design, and easy to customize. While I was testing the web site to open to public, I have noticed that when I use the form to send message, it comes as “unknown sender” and blank with all 3 sections; name, e-mail and message section. Only the subject is coming as it is intended to.

And of course being from an “unknown sender”, it goes directly to the junk folder.

Your guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brenda

Hi Brenda,

Thanks for purchasing the template.

Please do the following to fix this issue:

1. Open mail.php

2. Select the following lines at the top:

$name=$_POST[‘name’];
$email=$_POST[‘email’];
$msg=$_POST[‘msg’];

3. Replace this 3 lines with the following code:

$name=$_GET[“name”];
$email=$_GET[“email”];
$msg=$_GET[“message”];

I have tested the code and this will fix this issue. I will update this fix by tomorrow.

Thanks

Hi,

Applied the changes as you described. Now at the bottom of the page it says mail sent but nothing is received at the target e-mail. Not even as junk!

Thanks

Brenda

Hi,

Its working fine in my end.
Did you replace the following with your email address?
$webemail=”info@domain.com”; // Replace with your email address

Please check carefully. The first 4 lines should be like this:
<?php

$name=$_GET[“name”];
$email=$_GET[“email”];
$msg=$_GET[“message”];
$webemail=”info@domain.com”; // Replace with your email address

Thanks

here are my first lines

<?php

$name=$_GET[“name”]; $email=$_GET[“email”]; $msg=$_GET[“message”]; $webemail=”xxxxxxxx@gmail.com”; // Replace with your email address

Could it be something to do with contact.php page?

thanks

Please send me an email using the contact form in my profile page. I’ll send you the working files so that you can double check.
Thanks

Thank you so much. I got the mail.php file. It is working now.

Actually the file I edited earlier and the one you e-mailed me are exactly the same. I know that it doesn’t make any sense. But this time I tried editing with PHP designer instead of dreamweaver, and it did work. I’ve noticed that dreamweaver, in some situations, is not a great php editor.

So, thank you for your prompt support. I truly appreciate.

Awesome, awesome theme – clearly lots of work has gone into it.

Struggling with the homepage slider; can’t seem to reduce the number of images on the page to just three. I removed some of the <image> variables in the piecemaker.xml but the dots still appear under the slider image and one of the images isn’t even showing up, also can’t seem to change the rollover text on the dots.

Have cleared cache on my browser, any other ideas>

Also, having issue with the mail script, have changed POST to GET as described but it is still not working.. any other ideas?

Thanks for purchasing. I’ll send you the mail.php file. Just change the email address there. Hope it will work. And for the slider, this is weird problem. I’ll definitely look onto this. Have you checked piecemaker’s documentation file? Here is the link http://www.modularweb.net/content/en/piecemaker/documentation.pdf

Try this and let me know.

It’s still not working, so weird: this is my piecemaker.xml file, yet page is still showing 5 possible slides (and only 2 are clickable):

<?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”utf-8”?> <Piecemaker> <Contents> <Image Source=”contents/piecemaker1.png” Title=”Traffic From Multiple Sources”> <Hyperlink URL =”/services.html” /></Image> <Image Source=”contents/piecemaker3.png” Title=”Investments That Pay For Themselves”> <Hyperlink URL =”/services.html” /> </Image> <Image Source=”contents/piecemaker2.png” Title=”Beautiful Design”> <Hyperlink URL =”/services.html” /></Image> </Contents> <Settings ImageWidth=”900” ImageHeight=”360” LoaderColor=”0×333333” InnerSideColor=”0×222222” SideShadowAlpha=”0.8” DropShadowAlpha=”0.7” DropShadowDistance=”25” DropShadowScale=”0.95” DropShadowBlurX=”40” DropShadowBlurY=”4” MenuDistanceX=”20” MenuDistanceY=”50” MenuColor1=”0×999999” MenuColor2=”0×333333” MenuColor3=”0xFFFFFF” ControlSize=”100” ControlDistance=”20” ControlColor1=”0×222222” ControlColor2=”0xFFFFFF” ControlAlpha=”0.8” ControlAlphaOver=”0.95” ControlsX=”450” ControlsY=”280 ” ControlsAlign=”center” TooltipHeight=”30” TooltipColor=”0×222222” TooltipTextY=”5” TooltipTextStyle=”P-Italic” TooltipTextColor=”0xFFFFFF” TooltipMarginLeft=”5” TooltipMarginRight=”7” TooltipTextSharpness=”50” TooltipTextThickness=”-100” InfoWidth=”400” InfoBackground=”0xFFFFFF” InfoBackgroundAlpha=”0.95” InfoMargin=”15” InfoSharpness=”0” InfoThickness=”0” Autoplay=”10” FieldOfView=”45”></Settings> <Transitions> <Transition Pieces=”9” Time=”1.2” Transition=”easeInOutBack” Delay=”0.1” DepthOffset=”300” CubeDistance=”30”></Transition> <Transition Pieces=”15” Time=”3” Transition=”easeInOutElastic” Delay=”0.03” DepthOffset=”200” CubeDistance=”10”></Transition> <Transition Pieces=”5” Time=”1.3” Transition=”easeInOutCubic” Delay=”0.1” DepthOffset=”500” CubeDistance=”50”></Transition> </Transitions> </Piecemaker>

Hey, I have a question:

I have some experience building sites through WebEasy Pro (software); through GoDaddy’s Website tonight, etc. I am pretty proficient in building pretty good sites using templates and know a tiny bit about HTML . Having said that, I’m wondering if I buy one of these templates (this one: Autumn) in particular, what program do I need to open and edit it. I have CS4 Master Collection on my computer and know a small amount about using Photoshop but am just delving into using the other programs (such as Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). I just don’t want to buy the template if I am not experienced enough to do anything with it. Help?

Thanks! 8-)

Does this install on WP ? What would I need to install this?

Thank you

UniquePixelWeb

This is not an Wordpress theme.
