You can upload a larger logo file, the logo spot is not contained in size and will display a larger logo in the spot. It also depends on your menu size, etc.

once you register, you need to verify the purchase code. When you go to access the forum after registering, it takes you to the purchase code page. Enter your purchase code, see the video and screenshot on this page to help you find it.

If you go to the “portfolio” tab in theme options, you can remove the text or change what it says. You can enter custom fields for each of those areas.

Hi,

I recently purchased Avada and am extremely impressed with the depth of options in the theme. The support file is great too… However, our site seems to load incredibly slow.

I have had issues before where some themes have IE CSS files and once disabled, speeded things up. I couldn’t see anything in the source code that could be causing it to go so slow – none of the other wordpress installations on the same hosting/server seem to be experiencing any problems.

Are there any suggestions on what might be causing this?

This could be due to a shared server and mysql inquiries or db tables being searched. The IE CSS should not pose any issue at all.

First, make sure you are using Avada v2.1, we fixed a bug that happened on shared servers a version or two ago.

Second, post up a new thread on our support forum, then in a second reply in the same thread, post up your URL, username/password so we can take a look. Mark that reply as “set as private reply” so only we will see it. It would also speed things up if you can post the FTP login info so we can check out a few things to determine what the issue is, but we’re pretty sure its a server configuration issue, our developer can fix it quickly. In your thread, please put “they told me to have this thread assigned to developers”, that way we will see it faster.

I am attempting to get an update version for my Avada theme but re-register process is not the easiest. I have a purchase code(that the system wont accept). How do i get in. Sorry didnt know how else to reach you.

Hi :)

You get the new version of Avada from Themeforest, not our forum. Go to your downloads tab and find “Avada” purchase, then simply download it again. It will always be the new version.

For our forum, did you register for an account and then enter your purchase code and it did not work?

since updating my theme the page title (where the breadcrumbs go) now appears on the home page

That is the page title bar, and it can be turned on or off per page. Go into the page options box for your home page, and make sure its set to hide. Select “hide” again and save it.

Dear AVADA team

Firstly, great theme thanks. I have alredy purchased it for one project and I am about to purchase it few more times for few more projects, I just have one issue going on: I need to place in the Layer Slider an animation – the animation is in CSS and it is a sketched head with gear wheels rotating inside – however, my programmer had an issue with placing the animation inside the Layer slider.

Could You please provide a suggestion how could a custom animation be inserted into LayerSlider?

Thanks for the comments, we greatly appreciate them and the repeat purchases!

Hmmm, the layer slider and revolution slider take animations as videos, youtube or vimeo. So you could upload the animation to those services and then use the video embed code.

You might also want to post the question on the Layer Slider item page, the develoeprs who made it will probably have better advice about that, maybe there is a workaround for custom animations. Here is their page.

Thank You for your response. We have alredy solved this problem, we placed a gif into LS and it works well enough, however I am experiencing another issue – it might be a trivial mistake but I have been trying to solve it for couple hours… so I give up and would like to ask for an expert advice.

I placed a Gif picture into the Layer Slider and the picture stays always in relative position within the slider, but changes it relative position within the rest of the page as I change the size of the browser – that means I see the picture in a different position within the rest of the site on my large screen and different on my laptop – I guess in every size of the screen it would show elsewhere.

What I need is to have the picture (and all the content in LS) in a fixed position within the rest of the site – that means, the left margin of the picture in LS I want aligned to the last element of menu (Kontakt in my case) no matter what size of screen I use – when I look at the avada site it works the same

Yes that can happen depending on how you have your settings set. I have a tutorial on our forum that shows you the correct settings to use for a 100% full width layer slider, that is full y responsive and keeps all sublayers in the same spot :)

Oh, also make sure you are not positioning the sublayers with CSS, only use the X and Y fields to position the content.

Could you let me know if this theme will work with WooCommerce 2.01 plugin? Also, is there a way to remove the green mouse-over behavior (or change the color of the mouse-over) from posts / images being displayed? Interested in purchasing this theme just need to make sure it will not have issues with e-commerce products. Thank you

We have not tested it with WooCommerce 2.01, but other users have used Woocomerce without reported issues, but we personally have not tested it yet but plan to do so in the coming months. So at this point we cant guarantee it, all we can say is what our other users have done.

Yes you can remove the “image rollovers” via theme options, simply turn it on or off :)

You dont need to enter anything in the contact.php file, only in theme options. So revert back to the original contact.php file.

I’m having the same issue related to the re-registration process with the Purchase Code not being accepted.

There also seems to be no way to contact you directly. Emails sent from here are auto-responded by “one-way email notices” that refer back to your forum…which requires the Purchase Code confirmation. Full circle; no resolution.

You will probably want to enable or disable comments on individual posts or pages. For that you need to enable comments on posts or pages in the theme options and disable them individually in the Discussion settings under each post or page.

If you do that, you can get rid of the “Comments are closed” on posts or pages without a contact form by opening comments.php and removing line 37:

<p class="no-comments"><!--?php echo __("Comments are closed.", "Avada"); ?--></p>
