I don’t purchase this item yet but will do as soon as I get some advise from my questions.
I’m starting my own online shopping mall, so I need a good admin panel that can follow up the order status, shipping, sales avenue, product manage and so on. Does this theme offer those??
Does this theme provide any email format? (sending account confirmation, order confirmation, order shipped, order follow-up, and promotional newsletter)
or do they obtain any service of opt-in format to engage the customer and gets them to take action on website? any detailed install process or just a simple click space to accept/ask to receive newsletter/daily emails?
Yes for your online shop needs, you can use WooCommerce, its fully compatible with Avada and is the industry standard plugin for that. You can view our online shop demo here, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/shop/
And read about WooCommerce here, its a free plugin, http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/
WooCommerce can provide all those things for you I believe, please check out the link above, there is a bunch of information on it.
I am interested in purchasing this them and would like to know if an opt-in bar can be added on the header or right under the header or sidebar?
There is not a theme feature for that, but we do have a top sliding widget bar that you can place any type of widget in. So you can use a free plugin like Contact form 7 and build a quick opt-in form, and insert it in the top sliding bar, or in any sidebar on a page too.
If you need it in the header itself, you can do that but it would require code customizations as there is not a theme option for that at this time.

Thank you, we look forward to serving you!
How on earth anyone can give this theme less than 5 stars is beyond me. I have bought scores of themes on Themeforest and none come anywhere near this. Support of any theme can sometimes be a bit slow, surely people can understand this, and to fair the theme is that good most things are easy solved yourself with a bit of patients. AMAZING THEME, 5 stars.
Thank you Sunlife2000, we appreciate that very much. We are a bit baffled ourselves, and the one example here in the recent comments made it even more so since they received timely support and correct answers. But hey, I guess some people want even more! We strive to always give the best support and attention to our users, and I’m happy to hear you agree
We made up, let bygones be bygones
I would like to know if this is functional with BuddyPress before I purchase this them.
We have not done a full plugin test for that, but it can say that multiple users have told us they use it without issues. And if issues ever do come up with plugins, you can report it on our forum and we will certainly fix it if it’s theme related.
A couple more question regarding the demo content:
1.) Wouldn’t I have to download and install woocommerce before I install the demo content? Or would I do that afterwards?
2.) Do you provide a step by step guide outlining WHICH plugins need to be properly installed first before all of the demo content will display properly?
3.) What exactly is in the demo content? Is it all the pages in the menu as seen on http://theme-fusion.com/avada ?
4.) If so, that means I’d have to go back and delete all the woocommerce products, bbpress forum posts, etc. that are automatically created with your demo install right?
1. Yes if you want the shop demo products, then you need to have Woo installed first. As long as its installed, then it will import when you choose to import demo content. Same for the revolution slider, make usre to have it installed and activated first.
2. You get notified of this when you install the theme. It shows you the “REQUIRED” plugins, and currently the only ones installed by themeselves are rev slider and fusion core, which is our shortcode generator. The others are all integrated and automaticlaly are installed and activated when the theme is. WooCommerce is separate because its not allowed to be included with the theme and its a free plugin, so that is the only acception and that is only if you use an online shop.
3. Yes you get all the pages and posts, sidebars, widgets, and some sliders. Please note, our demo has many extra pages, like portfolio 1-4 column for all left and right sidebars, there is no need to include all of those in the demo content, so we only include one portfolio sidebar page. And we also have several extra slider pages that have different sliders on them, there is only a need for one slider page of each kind. The sliders you import, you get two layer sliders, two revolution sliders, one elastic slider, one flex slider and one themefusion slider, which is everything you need. Our demo has extra layer and revolution sliders, but we only include two of each due to size. That is really all users need, but if you wish to have them all, then you can simply download the slider exports from our support center.
Our demo also has a few extra sidebar setups, but again, that is not needed in the demo content, we provide about 3 or 4 custom sidebars already. So it does include the demo content, but when you have a demo as large as ours, there are some things you ned to leave out because in reality they are duplicates. Like portfolio sidebar pages, we include one of them. If you wish to have another, simply make a new page and assign the port page to it, or simply edit the one we give and change the page template from 3 column to 2 column. It only takes a second, and not giving all the pages cuts down the size of demo content and allows it to be imported much easier for everyone, and also cuts down on confusion due to duplicate pages.
4. All the pages and posts will be imported, but if you do not want WooCommerce or bbPress forum, then simply do not install those plugins when you import demo content, and they will not show or need to be deleted.
bbPress does not import demo content anyway, that is something you would need to setup since its a forum. Simply install the bbPress plugin, then make a new forum. All the styles are already there in the theme.
Hope this helps!
One more question:
I notice in your YT video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKVg4ugaOe8 ), it says that the slider content is not included in the demo content. The main reason I want to buy this theme is because I like how the slider is set up here and would just want to replace the text http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-7/
However, in your previous response you told me that, “In our latest version, we do use images. And we have a demo content importer that sets everything up quickly, even gives sliders, widgets, sidebars, assigned pages, theme options and more Its very nice!”
So is the slider included with the content (thought bubble images, woman image, text, transition etc.) set up like http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-7/ or not? I’m confused by these differing answers..
Our latest theme version does include two revolution sliders fully setup and assigned to pages. It also includes two layer sliders fully setup and assigned to pages
The video you view is simply old when they were not. We built a demo content importer, which imports things like sliders etc. Its a new feature. That is why you are seeing different answers. We have not had time to make a new video, but we are soon, and also one for the demo importer that shows you what you get,
However, our exact images we use in the demo sliders are not included, those are license stock images that we are not allowed to share. We use other images that are free to share and use. That is the same for any theme you see here though, its illegal to share stock images that are licensed, and every demo here on TF uses license stock images. But our images we include with our demo content are also very good, but thats really besides the point because each person that buys the theme always wants to use their own, custom images to reflect their business or blog.
And finally, these last few questions:
1.) On http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-11/ I notice that the portfolio items on the bottom are missing a bottom border. Is this a CSS mistake? Because when I right click and view the image, the image has a bottom border.
2.) On http://theme-fusion.com/avada/ I notice that as you scroll down, the images start to both slide and fade in. This is a really nice effect. Is this part of the theme, does it work on every page and how do I enable or disable this feature?
3.) Also on http://theme-fusion.com/avada/ I notice there is this cool little purchase now button with some kind of moving background. How is that enabled or disabled, is it only possible to be done on that little section at the bottom, and is it part of the theme?
After spending a couple hours watching the tutorial videos and reading up on the theme there is no doubt in my mind I am going to purchase it if I can just figure out the answers to all of my questions. Thank you!
1. I do not see that , I see this. http://d.pr/i/Gdi1 What browser are you using? Please make sure to clear your cache too.
2. Yes its part of the theme, its the css3 animations and you can use them or not use them on certain shortcodes. Image frames, content boxes, tagline boxes, recent posts, recent news, buttons, icons. And we will be adding more soon.
3. Do you mean the slider at the top of the page? that is simply the revolution slider, the layer slider does it as well. You get two of each when you import the demo content, the two sliders are already setup and buttons added.
Thanks, hope this helps!
oh also, most of our video tutorials are older and need to be replaced. But the good news is that they would only be better, newer features added and more flexibility and customization ability. Perfect example is the rev slider video that says the slider content is not included, that is old, and it is included now as I described in my other reply.
My youtube videos don’t resize to fit the blog layouts.
For example; if I have a grid layout the YouTube video stretches past the grid. Or if I have a sidebar, it covers the sidebar.
I am just embedding in to the ‘Video Embed Code’ section and just the standard YouTube embed iframe code.
Here is an example: bit.ly/1c88ARt
This is working for us on our demo sites and test sites. I’ve not seen any other reports, which is a good thing. It has to be something with the embed code probably.
For example, this is our embed code on one of our video posts, copy and paste this into your post exactly
<iframe width="680" height="433" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hsEUBLIJvmE?wmode=transparent" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
If that does not work, please signup and post a new topic on our forum with the details os we can see why its not working. You may have a plugin conflict too, so try yo disable them first and see.
Create a new topic with the above info, then post a second reply with your username/password and mark it as a “private” reply so only we will see those credentials and will be able to login and check the issue.
I noticed that Avada was slow to load I fought it was my content so I installed it on a local server and found it to be very slow to load. We have tried other themes and they load much faster. Is there anything we can do to make it load faster ?
Its not slow for us at all. You can clearly see this on our demo, which is a live server and has all features enabled.
There is definitely something wrong on your end, and especially so if you ave a local server.
We can take a look but you are not a registered buyer, you need to signup at our support forum with your purchase code. Curious, where did you get Avada?
I want this slider http://theme-fusion.com/avada/shop-home-style-1/
How can I make the same one?
That is the woo featured product slider. See this in our kb
If you have further questions or need assistance with that, signup and post on our support forum and our support team will take good care of you. Create a free account there, then create a new topic with your questions and we will be with you promptly.
I want to buy your product. I just know about using Microsoft Frontpage and upload to my server with FTP. Is it enough knowledge to use your product ?
I’m not familiar with Microsoft Frontpage. Avada is a Wordpress theme, and includes PHP, JS and CSS files. But you do not need to edit the code to use it since its a Wordress theme. Only edit code if you are doing heavy customizations that are not included in the theme. The best thing to do is install Wordpress locally or on your web server, then install the theme and start to add your content and customize it
Regarding your response to my question 1.), “1. I do not see that , I see this. http://d.pr/i/Gdi1 What browser are you using? Please make sure to clear your cache too.”
Here is a screenshot of the issue found here http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-11/ on both IE 10 and Firefox 24 (the most important browsers that my clients will be using)
Regarding your response to my questions 2.) and 3.) about the background and fade in/slide in images, here is a screenshot. I am pointing to the background that I am speaking of and I have another arrow pointing to one of the many images on that page that I am speaking of that fades/slides in. Is the code for this entire page in the demo content? I know you said some of the demo content from your actual site is not in the imported demo content but if this page is definitely in the demo content then I can just look at the code from there in Wordpress.
Just a couple more questions:
A.) How did you do 2 sliders in one as seen here? ALSO, is this exact page set up like it is in the link here included in the importable demo content? I know you said not everything is in the demo content earlier. http://theme-fusion.com/avada/layer-revolution-2/
B.) How do you do the mini gallery here with the 3 imges you can click on? Is that some shortcode you provide? – http://theme-fusion.com/avada/landing-page/
C.) The icon that are placed nicely in the middle over the text, are these shortcodes that you have? http://theme-fusion.com/avada/landing-page/ & http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-16/
D.) Can the navigation be boxed as well? When you go here and select boxed and scroll down the navigation is still full – http://theme-fusion.com/avadadark/
E.) Why is the content missing for the dark theme at the top for http://theme-fusion.com/avadadark/landing-page/
F.) Why does the mini gallery’s images in the middle do an odd pause and jerking resize when you click on 1 of the 3 small pictures here? http://theme-fusion.com/avadadark/landing-page/ It isn’t very noticeable unless you are paying attention but it only does it for the dark theme, yet it works without flaw on the white theme http://theme-fusion.com/avada/landing-page/
Thank you for answering all my questions! I want to know the answers to these questions before I buy.
I still do not see the bottom border issue you see in screenshots,
Either way, if it does show its a simple browser styling issue that can be easily fixed, and we will do that for you.
Yes the images animated are apart of the theme, its as simple as setting it to animate and the direction and speed. Its all done in the theme. Its a shortcode setting.
A. Its just two sliders, one in a 2/3 and one in 1/3. Its easy to do and you can copy our demo code for that. no those particular sliders are not included in demo content due to size, but as I said you can download all our sliders from our forum if you want those two.
B. Yes shortcode, you can see this on all our shortcodes pages under “Shortcodes” menu
C. Yes shortcode, you can see this on all our shortcodes pages under “Shortcodes” menu
D. The scrolling down is the sticky header, and its full width 100% as you see. We will probably add an option to box it in for boxed mode. Right now, its as you see it though.
E. Its just a slider id missing, its not a theme issue or anything. Its fixed now
F. Its not an issue, the dark skin is not up to date with latest version as the light one is.
If i use the theme in boxed mode, is there an option to decrease the opacity of the main-content-area?
No there is not a theme option for that, but you can insert background images in any of the areas, so you can simulate that if you wanted.
I have a pre-sale question: can I stop then navigation menu from being sticky while I scroll down?
Yes, its a setting you can enable or disable via theme options
Is avada works with wp ecommerce?
We have had some users use that before, but we ourselves have not tested it and approved We recommend using WooCommerce with it.
I have almost finalised this theme for one of my client and have a few questions before I go ahead.
There are 2 things I need before going ahead.
1. The site will have a membership directory and I am thinking of using a plugin such as Business membership directory or memberfindme. Please let me know if this theme works with both and also if you have any other recommendations.
2. The site will also have a calendar functionality. I have seen from other comments you had recommended using my-calendar plugin. But that was a year ago. Can you please let me know if there are any calendar elements built into the theme recently or if you would recommend any other plugin for calendar. When I say calendar, the site will have a “course calendar” listing courses available for every month.
Appreciate your quick response.
Thanks a lot.
1. We have not tested those plugins so I cannot guarantee that. But we do have other users using different ones, like DAP membership. It should not be an isuse and if one comes up we can check to see if its theme related and fix it, but at this time we have not used those.
2. The only calendar built in is the default WP calendar, but you can use any number of other plugins with it. We do not have a list of tested and approved calendar plugins, but I’ve seen several differeent ones from users. That will not be an issue.
