Another thing, how do I go about updating the Revolution Slifer? Its telling me I have the latest version, (1.54) but you mentioned 2.02 is available. This will be a big part of the site, thanks.
Download the new version of the theme, it contains the new slider revolution plugin.
You will need to remove the old plugin and install the new one.
Be sure to backup your slides by exporting them an importing them back.
And if you are on new version, then just go to typography tab in theme options to change the menu font size, all fonts and font sizes are controlled there.

I’m already on version 2.02 of the theme, and have revolution slider 1.54 installed. Is there a newer version of the theme?
Also, I didnt find a way to change the submenu dropdown list font, which was what Im referring to.
Yes the new one is v2.0.3 and includes the new revolution slider plugin
The submenu dropdown font is controlled by the body font. If you need to change it by itself and not other body copy, then use below CSS

Its best to do that yes, your content will not be lost. You can’t just download the new plugin, Themeforest only allows you to download the whole package.
Installing new them only takes a minute, then remove the old plugin and install the new one

Looks like you customized the rollover so it must of been removed during that time. Looks like you are missing the 2 icons.
You could update the theme and get it working again, but it will override your changes.

Yes you are correct I removed the two icons, added a link around the portfolio title and modified the skills and categories to the details.
Why would this affect how the rollover works? Is there a timing set in a js file somewhere that needs to be changed?

Oh, I didn’t know you meant the actual rollover effect, I thought you meant the content in the rollover
The rollovers you see on our demo have been redone, you would need to download the new version of the theme and re-install it.
Be sure to read the READ ME FIRST file you get with new download.

Go to “appearance > themes” in your wordpress admin and look for the version number next to Avada.
The new version is 2.0.3
So you mean I would have to upload the entire theme again? Is there a way to just replace the files that effect the rollover to correct this?
If I replace the theme does that not mean that I will lose all the style changes I have already done?

have you made style changes in the CSS field or in the all.css file?
If you’ve modified the theme files (PHP. all.css, etc) then those will be lost during upgrade. If you have not and entered CSS in CSS field, then all you need to do is copy it out then paste it back in when you update.
We have a new theme options panel so that will reset, but its easy to select things again.
I can ask our developer about just the rollover effects but it might not be that easy to just do that by itself.
Is there a way to change the font size within the main body texts?
Yes, go to theme options and change it on the typography tab.
If you do not see a typography tab then you have an older version, we recommend updating to the new v2.0.3
just be sure to read the READ ME FIRST file included with your package.

Im not sure what s causing this problem but suddenly when I try to make change on the Home page or any page with the Layer Slider it seems, I get this error message:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /imp/wp-admin/post.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I was able to make changes to this page before with no problem…

What should the import of the XML data have achieved? It errored on the first try. Something about unable to import Group 1 and Group 2. On the second try, I received several errors about things already existing. Nonetheless, I don’t see where it did anything. No posts, no pages, no settings, etc.
Also – What widget are you using in the first footer on the demo in order to achieve that logo at the top?

Was it your client who bought the theme? Your username does not show as purchased?
They would need to download the latest version of the theme and update it. We have standard fonts now available in theme options.

Well something had to cause the slider to stop working, it wont just stop on its own. But it works for me, I see it in Safari.
Did you install new plugins? Did you make a new slide then it stopped? What happened that made it stop working?
You should update it though, the current version v2.0.3 has l;ayer slider 3.0, and we are releasing an update in the next 24 hours that has the new layer slider v3.5. So if you update then I would wait for thev 2.0.4.

Can you please advise how to change the content box icons? Are these using fontawesome?
If you are using the new version then yes, you can use an image or an icon.
To use a font awesome icon, just put the name in the icon=’’ field and make sure you remove the image from the shortcode.

I’ve got a problem with activating FlexSlider. What can I do?
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WooSlider in /www/htdocs/w00f7ca6/wp-content/plugins/tf-flexslider/classes/class-wooslider.php on line 25
Remove it from your plugin page, that is the old plugin. Remove the “woo slider” plugin, just hit delete.
Then you will see the notice at the top saying the flexsldier is needed for the theme, go ahead and install that. Its the new version of the plugin.

Where are you seeing that error?
We have removed some config errors and are releasing an update in the next 24 hours that will fix that.
Also, make sure you do an “options reset” in theme options.
I’m seeing that at my homepage. it is still there. can’t even access /wp-admin coz that is showing.
You need to remove the current theme and install it via FTP, it sounds like it did not fully install.
We can do it for you if you send us your FTP and WP login info. Just confirmed this is not a theme error, you need to update your Wordpress install, you are using an older version that is not supported.
Avada requires at least 3.4.
