Hi, if you want quick content for your site, you can import xml sample data that already included with the theme package, you just need to set the image for each sections, you can refer to documentation for detail how to setup for each sections.

Hi I’ve loved this theme and have customised with ease for my client apart from the gallery, which I have just one question about. The ‘preview image’ function for the single gallery page doesn’t show the image on the page – just a blank grey box. It’s a shame as the page looks really good with the related portfolio thumbnails underneath, it would be good if this function worked and showcase the gallery item, have I missed something? thanks Kat

Hi, to create portfolio item slider, please follow below steps :

Click Add Media button at the top left of WP editor
Click Media Library
Select Upload to this post option from the dropdown
Upload your multiple image as portfolio item gallery slider
When upload process finish, just close the upload window box

if you want to display all image in lightbox, please open portfolio-template.php and taxonomy-portfolio_category.php file and find the following code :

<a href="<?php echo ($pf_link) ? $pf_link : $img_url;?>" rel="prettyPhoto" title="<?php the_title();?>"></a>

now replace with :

<a href="<?php echo ($pf_link) ? $pf_link : $img_url;?>" rel="prettyPhoto[gallery]" title="<?php the_title();?>">
</a>

Hi imediapixel

Brilliant thanks, making sure the image is attached to the post but not inserted resolved the problem. The image sizes for the portfolio pages are set around 920×330px, is there any way to increase the height?

Also for the lightbox amend I changed the css pretty photo to include the [gallery] shortcode on both files but that doesn’t seem to work?

Hi I have added a plugin to solve my portfolio problem, I just need to change it so that when I click the portfolio item on the porfolio main page it goes straight to the page rather than open a lightbox – you don’t seem to be supporting this forum well, any chance of any help as my site is now finished apart from this?

Hello,

I need some help with the Avanix Theme which is a great theme.

I was looking for how to remove the side bar menu from a page that I have created. You can see an example of the page here: http://nxtsurgical.com/menu/about-us

I cant seem to find out how to remove the side bar menu that includes careers, products, about us, contact. Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to resolve my previous issue. One other question regarding the main page (Flexslider) and this part:

[pagelist parent_page=”about” num=4 orderby=”id” column=4 fullwidth=”true” text_limit=20]

I understand that this code calls up the sub pages that are under “about”. What is the code to grab individual pages (4) and keep them in the same layout as they are with the code above?

Hi, you can completely remove the responsive layout option by removing below code in functions/theme-functions.php file :

   <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri();?>/css/responsive.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
