Hello, you can remove the custom block in:

1. CMS -> Static Blocks

2. Select the custom_menu_1 block and change the Status * in “Disabled”

When a customer adds an item to the cart and they get that pop up with ‘continue shopping’ or ‘view cart etc…’ the boxes are on top of eachother and break the layout. How can I fix this? See: http://imgur.com/x0ujenc

I’d rather not give my FTP information, can you not relay the instructions to me on how to fix it?

Hi, the reason why we ask for FTP details is to check what kind of customization/changes has been done in regards to which we can give correct instructions. Please have in mind that the theme is working fine and it is tested and fully checked. When a client has issue usually it comes from their customization. If we are not aware with that customization we cannot be sure we will give the right solution for the specific case.

However we understand if you prefer not to provide your details and in that case you can contact local developer who can check the customization we mention above and assist with the issue fix.

I uploaded the zip file to my web site and cleared the cache but i do not see anything in system > configuration

i followed the follwing steps

1. Upload the contents of Avanti_Premium_Magento_Theme_x_x_x.zip (which you will find in the Avanti package) to the root folder of your Magento installation.

2. logged into magento

3. Then, refresh the cache by going into System -> Cache Management, then select all Cache Types either by clicking on each checkbox or by clicking on Select All, then select Actions: Refresh and click on Submit.

4. Go to System -> Configuration

but in there i did not see “ShopShark”

when i upload the zip am i supposed to unzip it on my server?

Hi, usually the clients use FTP client (like filezilla) for theme files upload. In that case you need to unzip the file before uploading). Than you actually upload the content of the zip, not the file itself (as it is described at step 1).

when i do that it asks me by a lot of files that it exists already do i want to overwrite the existing file

i unzipped the files on my local PC and there are some files i cannot open to edit

for example

becuase of that i cannot either upload those files to my web server

Hi, usually if you have part of the files unavailable, most of the time that means that not all files has been installed correctly. Try to re-install and check if the issue still exist.

i didnt even install it. i downloaded the theme. unzipped on my local PC just to take a look at the files. When i tr to open the file i get a pop up “permission denied”

Hi, the files from the zip are definitely not locked, so you might be able to open each file. Try to open from another PC or download the zip one more time and try again.

Hi in an old comment about 10 months ago you said – regarding a question to make adaptable grid sizes…

“we will add more preset options in the next versions (double the horizontal size, double the vertical size, 3 and 4 column for the standard grid, etc.)”

Can I ask has this been done? I like the theme, but would prefer if it was more adaptable to ‘widescreen’ view. It would be great if there were some options to fill the width of the screen more? Maybe the adaptable grid may help with this?

This theme hasn’t been update from June 2013? I like Avanti theme’s design more than Milano but sadly it hasn’t been update until now.. Will you update this theme and give all the features just like Milano theme? Do you have any estimation update release date? Because I want to buy this theme.

How do I disable the Stars (ratings) from appearing over top the image on the product category page? It is interfering with the image. I still want the rating to appear on the product information page though.

I have a problem with “Default sort category”. In Admin -> Configuration -> Catalogue i’ve set it “by position and all categories use default configuration. When I visit a category page on my website, products are sort probably by “data create”. Only when I click on “order by” on toolbar, product are sorted by selected criteria. What can I do?

Hello, really didn’t get it very well, i can just let you know that Magento does not have a “Create Data” sort order, the sort by “Position” it refer on the product ID number.

Sorry… I just suppose they are ordered by data create. In Admin -> Configuration -> Catalogue i’ve set it by “Best Value”, not position. Under Category -> Product in category I’ve changed some values from 0 to 1, but on website page I can’t view product order by best value. I don’t really know why… Only when I click on “order by” on toolbar, product are sorted by selected criteria.

Hello, about the spam it is most probably due to settings of your domain and what reputation it has, not anything to do with Magento. For the contact form I have to talk with the second line, we will get back to you tomorrow morning.

11 months ago. Shopshark : Yes. Check the demo. The links “Fashion”, “Makeup”, “Fragrance” are store views, that are used also for multilanguage set-up. You can set-up different language, currency and theme settings (colors, banners, even different logo) for each store-view.

What modules for different languages have worked for you? May I know the names of them

Hello Chad,

The language selection box is already integrate inside the theme, you have to install the language you need and the selection box will appear automatically, but when you have just 1 language it disappear. This is common for all the magento themes no one excluded.

Just the others has few packages already installed.
